It's pathetic that "zOMG" won the name for the Gaia MMO. I think that it should have been one of the names in the list. Seriously, most of the pathetic names were much better than the unoriginal, "zOMG"
They have a whole contest because they can't be creative & they choose the stupidest AIM chatspeak? Way to go. D:
What do you guyss think about this?

I agree.
I should be excited, but I'm not.
They've been planning this out for like, ever, so if it's not good, I'll be extremely disappointed.
Gah. I would have totally preferred Gaia MMO or battle system over.. zOMG?

Erebus Haze I think zOMG! works because it keeps the "theme" we have for the majority of the site, while pulling in newer audiences because it says zOMG!. "What's that supposed to mean?" The MySpacers and other n00bs (as opposed to Newbies) will ask, as they join. While the tactic of choosing the name was particularly spot on (from my point of view), the name chosen wasn't the best for the existing base of users expecting an MMO.
