It's been a phenomenal month too.
We all made the decision to move, which is a huge step in and of itself.
We got organized and set up for all 13 squads
We got the Vizards, the Bounto and the Quincy all set up and running
We even got the rules and personality set up for the enemies
We have promoted two new Captains to replace the Captains who have retired or moved to different areas or groups
We have had to do thinning on the forums about four times now
We have moved non character or Bleach related threads to a new forum
We have comprehensive rules for everyone, fairly enforced
We have a fantastic set of people to administer the guild, and an ever better group to play in it.
We have the squads mostly filled out
We have over 152 members at this point
We have active recruiting programs that apparently work
We have had more post and roleplay activity in this one month than there was an other guilds containing 8 times the members
We have had some friends made, a few problems removed and even more roleplaying done
We have had a two on two tournament start, and not even one round finish
We have had a guild plot that shook the roots of the Soul Society
We have two guild events planned and coming up
We have had marathon sets of posts put up
We have had some of the best artists in Gaia join us and give away their artwork for us
We have had tutorials in Roleplaying and writing made and given
And that's only what we have done, there's more being planned and more being worked on.
I'm so proud of all of you I can't stand it. I brag about you to my wife all the time, and when I go see my doctor, he asks about you all also. I tell him some of the stories and even more.
I have a friend on InsaneJournal that was a member of Gaia for a while, and when I mentioned what had happened with the other guild and the subsequent move to this one, he said that if he had more knowledge of the Bleach universe, he'd get over here and join us.
Considering that he's one of the best roleplayers I know, that's a HIGH compliment.
And it's thanks to all of you. Each and every one of you who have helped make this the best guild there is. Forget power, forget cliques, forget who has the biggest powers, it's all about us being friends and family, helping each other.
Look at what you have done for Unahara when she was hacked. The guild mule has received more than 80K in cash donations for her, and about 25 or so items, some of them expensive items for her to get her back to where she should be.
As such, I'm going to have the Guild mule go and buy a set of Shinigami uniform clothes, the black top, pants, white sash, tabi and shoes. If there's enough I'll add a sword into that as well, and I will collect the total number of members from the guild list on that day, generate a random number, and that one user gets it all.
This will happen on July 26th, and I can't WAIT for that.
