A bird landed on the limb Mitora was sleeping on. After hopping around for a minute the bird started to tweet and chirp. Mitora slowly came around from her sleep and realized that it was way to bright for her to be awake. She tried drifting back into her dream world but it seemed that some bird was determind to keep her awake. Unable to sleep, the vixen sat up on her branch and yawned. Slowly opening her eyes, she adjusted to the bright light of the sun. "How do foxes live in this bright light?" She asked herself. She thought for a moment. Don't most foxes become active with the sun is up? Maybe she could ask someone. Still on her branch, Mitora looked to the ground and the clearing next to her tree to see if she could spot day time foxes.

Standing somewhere near a bush of flowers stood a brightly colored female. She seemed somewhat distant in thought and mind, drifting off while smelling the collection of buds that littered the nice tree-like vegetation around her. Occasionally her ears flicked but otherwise there was hardly any movement from her direction. If not for the white of her fur she may have very well blended into the bush itself. Still, there was something mildly off about this female and though she seemed perfectly normal, upon further examination it might be spotted in her demeanor. Whatever it was, she might very well have had a few of her own quirks to add to a rather interesting bunch.

From just glancing around, there didn't seem to be anyone in sight. There was no way Mitora could be ther only fox out here during the middle of the day. Realizing that she wasn't going to be able to sleep anytime soon, Mitora decided that she'd go search for someone. And with that, she hopped from branch to branch until she landed safely on the ground. She figured the best place to start would be the middle of the clearing. Someone was bound to see her and if not, maybe she could catch some scents. So, the trotted out to the middle of the small clearing and sniffed the air.

The brightly colored female continued to walk among the flower bushes. She let out a ragged breath, a slight headache pulling at the back of her head. The 'Daeva was getting on her nerves. She hated that there was so much animosity between the two of them but no matter how hard she tried to reach out to Banege all the 'Daeva did was lash out at her. She supposed that was her fate for trying to befriend a modidaeva in the first place. Still... she wished fate had chosen a better circumstance for her. She knew she needed to get out and meet new foxes, but in her current state she just felt too lazy to do much about it.

With her eyes shifting, Sekkirra's eyes moved along the trees that were towering above her. If by chance, she saw a movement in the branches and couldn't help but tilt her head to one side. "Hello?" Her eyes blinked, wondering who exactly was watching her this far out.

Mitora stopped dead in her tracks as she heard someone speak in the direction she had come. Was there really another modifox out here? Well of course. It was the day time. "Hello?" She decided to call out in return to the voice that had spoken first. Making sure not to scare the day fox, Mitora eased her way back to the tree at edge of the clearing. As she approched she could make out a very pretty colored vixen who almost blended in with the background of flowers behind her. Was the fox friendly? It was then Mitora realized she knew nothing about day foxes and their ways of greeting others.

Hearing the voice, she instantly noticed it was female. Taking a step back, she tried to seem as non-threatening as she possibly could. Perhaps she was getting that chance after all. Or maybe fate was more of a tease than she ever wanted to admit. "Do you like flowers?" She gestured, nipping off a branch to offer it as an olive branch to the female.

What? Had the female just asked if she liked flowers? Day foxes were so strange. No "Hi my name.." No they just jump right into "Do you like...?" Very strange indeed.. But.. Mitora smiled and approuched the other vixen slowly. "Yes. I like flowers very much." Looking that the branch the day fox was offering she noticed something was different. "Though they do look different in the light of the sun than they do in that of the moon."

Sekkirra offered the branch before slowly taking another step back after letting it drop to the ground near her. Lifting her head, she regarded the female carefully. Perhaps she had said the wrong thing? Regardless, she couldn't take it back now. Any damage that had been done was finished with and she had to live with whatever mistake she had made. "Um.. generally, they do look different in full light. Most things do." This female was a little strange, but then again, Sekkirra knew she couldn't exactly be picky. "They're called bleeding hearts. My parents loved them so much that that was the story they gave me for why I have them speckled all over my body.."

"Bleeding hearts..." Mitora repeated the name outload. "They're very pretty. They look good on you too." She nodded at the other females coat of fur. "Sorry, I'm a nocturnal fox so I usually don't see things in the sunlight." Mitora walked the few steps to the brance and bent down to sniff them. "They smell good too. I can see why your parents would like them." She smiled up at the flowered fox. "Sorry for the lousy introduction." Mitora cleared her throat and stood up straight. "Hi. I'm Mitora. Its nice to meet you."

Sekkirra smiled a bit, satisfied that the female liked the bleeding hearts, they were beautiful flowers, holding their own uniqueness compared to other flowers she had seen. Pulling her blue outlined-grey eyes to the ground, Sekkirra couldn't help but remember how much she missed her parents and siblings. Sighing for only a moment, at what the female said her eyes went a little wide and she couldn't help but blush out of embarrassment. "Actually... I should probably be blamed for the lack of introduction.. I'm usually much more composed.. I promise." She gave a slight smile, still feeling the warmth of her cheeks. "It's a pleasure to meet you Miss Mitora, my name is Sekkirra."

Mitora couldn't help but laugh a little. "You're really nice. I've never been called Miss before." Day foxes were strange. Strange, but nice. "Sekkirra. That's an interesting name." Feeling the tension slowly die between the two of them, Mitora laid down still smelling the Bleeding hearts. The ground was hotter than she was used to but it wasn't really a bad thing. "So what do day foxes usually do?" Mitora asked through a yawn.

Sniff sniff. She's close. What was her name again though? It hasn't been that long... Has it? Red paws softly padded their way quitely through the woods. This female modi was careful not to make any unnessacery sounds. She moved quickly and unnoticed. Sniff sniff. Closer. I'll find her soon...

Humming an old ballad, Harvey regally walked down a clear path, made by humans for humans. He wasn't as scared of humans as most, nor as bold about them as some. However, he had lived a large chunk of his life near humans, therefore knew what to do when seen.

Looking around, he sighed. "Nayelie! Where have you gotten off to now?!", he called, scowling at the no reply.

'How Annoying. No matter, I'll just pretend that I didn't hear him.', thought the dark blue vixen coldly, continuing on her trek. She had heard that a waterfall was near this area, and wanted to go and check it out. Well, she wanted to check it out, alone. All by herself. No one else there. But, everyone insisted that she take Harvey with her.

'I don't get it! I've been an adult for some time now, and yet I still am accompanied everywhere that I go! True, I'm still smaller than most females my age, but I make up for it more than enough with my intellegence!', she thought, scowling slightly at her own thoughts as though they had betrayed her.

Day foxes? She had never been called that before. But then again, she was the strange fox that kept 'Daevas as company. "I'm not sure I'd be called a day fox... I'm more... in between.. My parents use to call me the stormy one of the family because of the storm color on me.." She gestured to the grey-blue that rode up her legs and accented her head and tail fur. "I can't really say that I know what day foxes do.." She mused at that thought, it had been a long time since she had company she guessed. By why hadn't she ever thought of asking that question to Alester before? He was a day fox, wasn't he? With her eyes flitting over she was sure she heard some distant noises, however, in the end she decided to write them off. She shouldn't be off being rude quite yet to a knew fox she had just only met.

Mitora giggled at Sekkirra's confused look when she asked about day foxes. "Ah. Well this is my first time out during the day so since you were out as well I just assumed you were more of a day time fox. Sorry." Mitora giggled again at the silly mistake she'd made. Or maybe because she was sleep deprived? "Stormy.." She said aloud. "Yeah, I can see that. My name is spelled a combination of my mother's and fathers names. But it doesn't use all the letter. Strange huh?" As she sat there talking with Sekkirra, Mitora thought she heard movement coming her way... And thought she smelled a familiar scent... No... It couldn't be... It was only seconds after she thought of her that a pick ball of fur hurled herself at Mitora....

It started with an "M" didn't it? Cari tried desprately to remember the name of the vixen who's scent she was following. As the scent started getting stronger Cari picked up her pace until she was in a full run. Once the pink and red vixen was within range, she hurled herself at the gray shaded vixen she was looking for. "MITORAAAAAA!!!" she squealed as they collided. "You've gotten so BIG! Look at you!" Cari was bouncing over Mitora and nuzzling her... until someone else caught her eye. "HI!!" Cari said to Sekkirra. Cari was instantly inches from the flowered vixen, sniffing and circling her.
