Hey every one, just creating a random thread on peoples favourite solo pieces, considerning i have to perform a 5-8 minute piano solo this term gonk , i dont realy care what instrument the pieces are played on, jsut want to no every ones oppinions on solo's. To start of here area few of my own
Pathetique 2nd movement(Beethoven, NOT BEEF-OVEN)
rondo alla turka(mozart)
greensleves(mozart)
Fur elise mozart
serveral AMEB( australian music board) pices all to annoying to list and name
Moonlight sonata
And to serveal out there, i do no they are classical, i like jazz solos also, but i really cbf writing em all down, utherwise we would have a VERY BIG LIST neutral
Now for every one elses write below and lets hear your favourite pieces razz

i play flute.
i've only had one solo, and it was pretty easy, and i was the only one playing.
i hope to get some hard solos some day.

I kind of like the one I got this year even though it's incredibally hard for a 2nd level flute player (my solo's level 3)
Its called Polovtsian(sp?) Dance from Prince Igor
It's got grace note's and high notes and complicated rythems, but it sounds so cool!! ;D

Hey I play flute and I did a solo this year! I got a 2 but the judge had already gave out all her 1's sad its sonatine #2 I had fun wif it! IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!! I did really good! ninja
