The journey Kawarimono faced on her way back to her home had almost been like a dream but it hadn't been. She had met many new friends and interesting creatures but one of the things that made her most doubt that it had been a dream that she was pragnent..
There had been this male she just met for a few days around a bigger lake in the outcast of the jungle he probably did not belong to her clan since she had never seen him before. He just loved to play in the water that she did so she had fallen for that. Water had always been a soft spot.
She had no idea what her sisters would think either since they both had mates still and their own cubs to think about but Mono had to do this herself so she hoped not 6 cubs would hide somewhere in there in her small tummy. Tough it had gotten heavier the latest days.
But she felt safe she was back into her home lands and giving birth to her babies here would be safe.

It didn't take her a long time to find a nice place to take a rest at. There where many places with bushes, trees and soft ground to rest on and right now she could really need some sleep. But what she didn't knew was that there was not going to be long until 2 new lives was gonna be born into this world.
Maybe she was able to sleep for a few hours before she felt this pain in her stomach at first she tought there was something wrong with her but then she calmed down a little when she rememberd what her sisters had told her about giving birth was this it? it was a very strange feeling indeed but she wasn't very scared at all.
The first baby that was born into this world looked like an almost copy of herself it was orange, yellow and a little white. It was just so amasing seeing such a small lion sure she had seen baby lions before but not as small as this one. She gently licked it and hoped that nothing would be wrong with it and she continued to do that until the cub was completly dry and warm..

After a while she felt one more contraction..was there another one in there? this time she was more ready and it didn't hurt as much either...but this cub looked diffrent it was more white, black and orange witch made her think a little about the male she met before these 2 where created. This cub reminded mostly of him..
She had to sheck that this was was alright too since she knew some cubs could stop breathing, be cold if you didn't take care of them right away and she hoped it wasn't to weak that would just be awful...she put both her cubs closer to her so she could lick them both she had to make sure nothing was wrong with them.
Her stomach calmed down and she guessed there wouldn't be any more cubs being born but 2 was just the perfect number.
2 new sisters had been born to this world a new story would probably start with them..

Melusine let out a small meow. More of a cry for her mother to help her towards food. It was hard business coming into this strange world around. Eyes not opened, darkness for now, but later would show tons of color. But for now, all she cared about was the food her mother would have for her. Waiting, somewhere? Where?
Another meow escaped her little orange, yellow and white body. Her mother started to lick her, or who she thought was her mother. It smelled like she did. She tried to walk, but it was hard. Wobbling and falling down to the ground she had just tried to move from. She'd get this sooner or later... She hoped.

Babies...she still couldn't belive it was true how could one act make something so perfect? the babies where not fully evolved yet but they had eyes, ears, 4 legs and a small body that breathed. The small lives also longed for love and for food. She just hoped she could give them a good life and a good childhood like the one she had had with her 2 sisters...
But she wasn't a cub anymore she was a mother...she wounderd if she really suited into that position as a mother since she knew it wasn't an easy task to handle.
Kawarimono wounderd if her daughters would like water as well maybe swimming or just simply collecting seashells around the small lakes. Her seashell bracelet glowed lightly in the sunshine and she curled up and showed her babies closer to her stomach.

Kawarimono started to think of names for her little babies she wanted to name them something related to herself and her sisters. They reminded her of fishes just like herself and her family and now they where apart of her family as well. She looked at the first one closest to her face it was the girl with most white and a darker orange color she also reminded of a Koi fish. It made her smile...
After a while she decided on the name Shusui..
Then the one that almost looked like a copy of herself it was a mini Mono.
Maybe the name Melusine would suit her? it sounded soft and nice just like a good little lake.

She wounderd what her sisters would think about all of this? since she didn't have a mate within the pride maybe they would find it strange? Mono always cared a little bit to much what others tought about her and if they would be happy with what she did. But giving birth to 2 perfect little girls and they both had the rare color orange from her family.
It was a special day two new lives was born and she had to try to plan a little bit more for the future.
But she belonged to a safe pride where her babies could grow up to healthy and strong lions that one day would have their own lives and their own babies..

Kawarimono felt tired giving birth was no easy task for the body. She had to rest but she was a little bit afraid of falling asleep since if she did who would gaurd? she was safe here right?
Her babies where sleeping already since being born was no easy task either. She didn't remember the day she was born but breathing outside the stomach had to be difficult.
Mono yawned...maybe she should just rest her eyes a little bit...just a little...her body was tired and didn't care at the moment what her mind tought about it had to rest and it didn't take many minutes before she fell asleep. So at her current spot 3 lions where sleeping deeply and no one would at the moment bother them. The family had there time for themselves.
