Ok so my sweet litter girl, Piper, had kittens. She's so small we were expecting a small little maybe 2 or 3 but instead she gave birth to 5 healthy kittens. This wasn't a planned litter. The father is a stray we took in a little less than a year ago on the farm, but both cats are very proctective and affectionate parents.

Piper is 1/4 japanese bobtail and 3/4 american shorthair. I'm not sure what the father is.

Haha cute!

You can definitely see the Jap. Bobtail in some of the kittens (Panda and Artemis!).
The American Shorthair is more obvious in Fang, with his face a mix between the two breeds.

Yeah I almost think Artemis and Panda look more Japanese bobtail than their mother, even though their Japanese bobtail bloodline is more deluded.

When I picked Piper out from a litter of kittens, she had 5 other sibblings 4 of them were born with bobtails and one other had a long tail like Piper's. Piper's mother, Prescious, also had a bobtail.

I was curious to see how her Kittens would look, wondering if any of them would be born with a stubby tail as well, but none were (But that's fine I like both tail types). I was really suprised to see how diverse her kittens actually look. The only one who resembles their mother is Lonestar.

The father, Moo, is a sleek all white cat with black spots just like Panda and Artemis. I was blown away to see Fang with full out tabby stripes, unlike his sibblings he's the only one who's all stripes, he kind of looks like his grandmother, Prescious, although he's more of a creamy gray color, if that makes sense.

I love all of my kittens, I just can't pick a favorite, I just did the poll to see what everyone's general thoughts were.
