Metal Reign will in a few short days reach to be the most successful Metal Guild in Gaia-post wise. In a little more than a year in existence we have achieved what many guilds failed to do, thrive.

Yes my friends, Metal Reign thrives, everyday. And it thrives because it has people who care about it and each other. So let's continue on letting MR thrive and prosper, because we are so freaking epic like that.


Not in my wildest dreams would I have ever believed that, me blowing all my gold would have an end result like this. Sure, it was touch and go for awhile, but I had some dedicated crew members and dedicated members.

Digital has been here for me and MR since day 1. THAT'S RIGHT DAY ONE. Digital sat and listened to be whine about how poorly the Metal Forum was treating me. He gave me advice about how and if I should purchase my guild. And he was there crewing and recruiting for me ever since I've needed him. He's a good guy- deep, deep deep inside that cold exterior. He's also quite amusing and extremely funny. Besides his random, I killed an animal by kicking their nose is comments. wink (remember that convo?)

Victum has been here since day one as well, some time off here and there. For the most part everyone else has fallen away since the dawn of MR. Opheliac left, returned, and left again. Nemabreaker is still active in Gaia but for the most part has moved on....like so may others.

Then here's Grave. What to say about Grave. I remember accepting his request thinking, "huh, never thought I'd see his avatar in here, well, we'll see how this goes." He quickly became an active member, though still the quiet type. (I remember the first few time I aim'd him, and how awkward it was. Oh Gosh the awkwardness!). Then after I lost 2 crew members in the matter of days, I decided I need some help, and Grave seemed like the best candidate (he had pointed out some things and thrown around a few suggestions). Well he WAS the best candidate, and still is the best candidate. MR would not be the same without his help. There is only so much a chick can do by herself, especially juggling school, a personal life, homework, and...well that's it. He stepped up to the plate whenever I needed him to and never crossed any boundaries. He always asked me if I wanted him to help with this or that, instead of just doing it. It always meant a lot that he never wanted to completely take over. Which was why last year before I went ot France, I promoted Grave to Vice captain. After I did, I remember thinking "OH CRAP WHAT DID I JUST DO!?!?!?!? I'VE GIVEN MY BABY AWAY TO A STRANGER!!!!!!" After I took a few deep breaths, and remembered that my mule was also a vice captain, I calmed down and thought about it for awhile. It WAS a good decision, the 3rd best one I had made.


And then my guildies come in. Yes, my sweet, obnoxious guildies. Oh how I love all of you. You guys make me laugh and want to slap you across the face all at the same time. We all have learned how to post and work together. Spamming the threads, smilie wars, neglecting the sub-forums, harassing one another, pic wars, violating your mind comments, etc.

Thanks for always making my job as a guild leader easier by cooperating with me and my rules. hanks for always being active, thanks for always putting up with my stupid topics. And thanks for Loving my guild. She's my baby and I'd do just about anything to make sure she stays afloat. What makes her special is you. So thank you for making Metal Reign a friendly place to shoot the breeze and scream about who listens to the better metal band.
