((Living Area Layout, just for helpful reference:

Large Window that Raleigh&Co. crashes through, left side of room. This side of the room is fairly clear of things, except for a long, small shelf under the window that is decorated with various trophies and photo. Kimo is sitting with his back to it in the large computer chair. The computer desk is lined along this side of the room too, in the corner between the front a left side. It has various computer-related articles and papers around it.

Front of the Room: This is where the door to outside goes, the left side is clear because of the computer desk in the corner and easy mobility with the chair
On the other side of the door is Kimo's various quick-grab surfing equipment and one or two textbooks for his high school classes.

Right side of the room and center: This is where most people are sitting. The three person couch that is usually back-to-door looking at a television at the back of the room as been shifted to look toward the left side of the room, where Kimo is leading the meeting. I think Domani, Elisa, Melody, and Lila are squished on the couch (with three teenagers, it's probably not that tight of a fit). Diego has pulled out a dining room chair and is sitting on that, with his feet resting on the same chair that Domani has her leg propped up on, he's closer to the back of the room than the front. Martin is sitting on the floor in front of the couch, and from the looks of it with the other boys, Chuck and Jay, are near him. There are two vacant dining room chairs on the other side of the couch, toward the front of the room, that Clarence and Deb had occupied earlier (they're now in the kitchen). Drew is sitting in the final dining room chair between Diego and Kimo, somewhat in the middle of then as he's considered to be somewhat of an outcast here. Daniel would also be sitting on the floor, I'm guessing he's sitting more toward the back of the room as well, close to Diego and Drew. It's a tight enough fit that everyone, even Drew, is fairly close to at least one other person, and usually two (the only exception being Kimo, who has space mostly by merit of going back and forth between files and his laptop. Even he is fairly close to Drew though). This leaves the front side of the room pretty empty of people and the center of the room swarmed with people. =)

Back of the room: has a staircase leading up as well as entrances to a bathroom and a guestroom.

It was Drew, as hyper-sensitive trained as he was, who first realized that something was wrong and jumped up, then leapt backwards seconds before the creature came crashing in, "Watch out!" But he didn't attack it back.

"KIMO, DOWN! Domani!" Diego's warning shout was a split second before the thing came crashing in, first to Kimo and then really to Elisa, his eyes connecting with hers. The message was clear: She was to get protect and preferably get Domani out of there that instant. Diego placed himself in front of the girls, fists tight as he tried to figure out what was happening and he reached for the ground underneath.

For all of their bickering, when it came down to it, Kimo didn't hesitate a second to obey Diego's shout. and he hit the floor the same time the creature came crashing through, laptop falling under him and then computer chair toppling onto him. Lucky, it would have been his head if he hadn't had that. Unfortunately, the chair was the closest object around, and the creature picked that right up and sent it hurtling through the air, leaving Kimo practically lying under it with no protection.

The rest of the DA members? Elisa was quick also, jumping up the moment Drew had jumped back, at first apparently toward him, and then looking back to Domani, offering a hand to help her up.

Melody froze, eyes wide and hands tightening around Lila, and she let out a shrill shriek. Martin? He jumped up after the thing had come in, then reached down to yank up Chuck, "Let's go." He was going to run.

It took some seconds after it had came in, but suddenly Clarance was right beside Jay, "Melody, do something! Jay, if it touches you, don't hold back on it!" His words were somehow calm in the midst of it all. He'd accessed the situation quicker than anyone else in the room, and now turned to superspeed his way to Domani, intended to pick her up and get her out.

As soon as the creature came crashing into the house Jay leap out from his seat and moved away in shock. His initial reaction was to run as he usually did, but he waited on Clarence’s order. Whatever Clarence would tell him to do Jay would do. He trusted Clarence’s judgement. It was no sooner he thought this that Clarence appeared. He told Jay not to hold back. Jay nodded, but wasn’t sure if that mean run or stay.

Unsure of what to do Jay quickly moved back to a corner of the house and placed his hand on the wall. He would wait until the others got out before making his escape. Or he would wait for Clarence to tell him to go. If the creature came after him he would send out waves to slow it down. If worse came to worse he would try to take down the house. It would be better then getting killed by the thing for no reason. Either way he would let the adults take care of the creature before he tried anything.

Small eyes darted left and right, chasing the moving people around the room. The first toss of his head had sent the chair flying and now the beast came to a halt above Kimo. It tossed its head in the other direction and then with a heave lifted its upper body into the air and came crashing down on its front legs, causing the floor to shudder and the floorboards to splinter.

It finally seemed to notice (a probably rather shaken) Kimo, bending its head and opening a dangerously sharp set of jaws. One of Daniel’s fireballs caught the creation on a thick shoulder and the other soared ineffectually by. Its head came up, gaze instantly focusing on its foes. The area that had been hit by the flames had blackened and a thin plume of black smoke trailed up into the air. (I’m not sure how hot Dan’s flames are. But the wood on this thing is pretty thick, so it wouldn’t go up in flames straight away... at least I wouldn’t think so xD Let me know if I’m wrong)

“Stay where you are Ace.” Raleigh ordered and then beckoned the twins along with him, cautiously moving towards the house. Something was wrong; his creation had stopped and seemed uncertain. Unless it had already taken out the enemy? No, he could see people moving inside and wait... that burst of light had definitely looked like flames. Ra had a sense of foreboding as he let out a short, sharp whistle indicating ‘attack’.

As soon as the wooden beast heard the whistle it lurched forward again, barrelling forward at anyone and anything in its path.

OOC: The Diego/Kimo thing gets confusing.. So.. Diego's color will be Sienna and Kimo's color will be blue to help. Pay close attention, the writing's a bit chaotic because the scene is. DARCY! I didn't write Elisa because I'm opening her up to you writing entirely. So you don't miss all the action. =)

Clarence and Domani
Clarence had indeed picked Domani up and was already nearly out of the room by the time Daniel had set off his fireballs. He turned around only once right before he left to get a final view of the room and was gone, moving quickly enough that Domani would get dizzy trying to look at where they were headed.

Where they were headed was apparently a closet, where Deb was sitting and being generally terrified and miserable. She reached out for Clarence. Instead, she got and armful of Domani as she was practically dumped into her arms. "What's going on out there? Don't leave, please!"

Clarence froze, and turned around, clearly hesitating at his wife's plea and turn between her and an outer duty. So he stalled instead, "Ok, if these people aren't just come and destroy, and if they find you---let's hope they don't---and arrest, we were here having a bit of a reunion. Kimo and Diego and---" He cursed, "I'll bet Drew set us up. Well, anyway, come up with a good lie. I'm going to--"

"Clarence!"

"... Mmm, we'll--we'll say that since Kimo and Diego were our son's friends, we were having a meeting with him," He nodded to Deb, "And as part of an anniversary trip." He looked at Domani, palms up, "I'm sure Diego's given you a story as to why you're with him?" As Clarence stood there, he rocked a little on his feet, clearly using the story as an excuse to stay, but not certain that this was his place.


Everyone Else

The moment he realized Clarence had left, Diego shifted his position from protecting his girls to stepping over to the couch. He snatched Melody's arm and tugged at her, but she was frozen there and hardly even moved from her position, "Get up, get out of here! You're going to get killed! You, Lilly get moving!" But it was all the warning they were getting from him, he was heading elsewhere already.

Kimo's natural instinct was to get his butt away from the beast-thing that hovered over him, and while it was distracted by Daniel's fire, that's precisely what he began to do. It proved by far to be his worst mistake ---

Diego was moving toward Jay now, "Get out of---" Diego looked at Jay's face, and at his hands, and understood. He pointed to the ground, "Not the walls, the floor." --- Kimo shouted as the beast, which somehow missed seeing him (perhaps he was too close) stepped on him as he hurtled toward the couch where Melody and Lila sat in the middle of the room.--- "NOW, KIMO!" Some panic reached Diego's voice, and he substituted Jay's name for Kimo's, though he'd meant the boy. Diego was desperately trying to cling to some sort of rock underneath the foundation, but was failing. He would have to reach out further than under the house to find something.

Drew finally seemed to gain himself when the beast hurtled toward the girls and now blasted sparks in front of him, hoping to to at least stop him in his tracks, though he was too afraid in these close confines to make them too powerful. He was afraid of hurting someone.

Martin had grabbed Chuck and was already trying to drag him out.


ACE:

Ace nodded to Raleigh, already scared into obeying. And scared into unconsciously upping both Raleigh and Kadaegan's abilities. He still didn't know it, but he was doing his part.

Domani wiggled a little bit when she discovered she'd been dropped all but on top of Deb by Clarence. So that's Mr. Superspeed (if she were less confused, doubtless she would've flinched inside over this name. However, at the moment, that seemed good enough to her). When her mind finally processed what Clarence was asking, her brain flickered as she tried to recall, "When we met Drew, Diego said I was his daughter, maybe Elisa too and that we were meeting with friends, um, Kimo and Daniel," She babbled. "We can use it again but they might notice the similarity and Elisa and I don't speak Spanish but we can probably make our Italian sound Spanish...-y," Why wouldn't her mouth stop talking? "Um, does Deb have useful powers perche if she doesn't, us two should probably leave..." With visible effort, she clapped her mouth closed and held it there. This was not the time to begin losing her cool.

Elisa followed Diego's example of trying to help the newbies get out, except Jay, who apparently had a power that would be helpful? She shrugged internally and set herself to the work at hand. She paused a moment and chose a body, a firefighter or a member of the military or something like that. Strong, trained. That's what she became. Without a second's thought, she grabbed Melody and Lily and slung them over her shoulders, trying to plan an escape route.

Raleigh had been making a slow progress towards the house. His greatest weakness was himself and he knew that well. The best option was to keep out of the fray and let his beasts do the work. Right now the situation inside the house was uncertain. Obviously things had not gone quite as planned, judging by the mad level of activity going on beyond the smashed wall and window. It looked like a crate of fireworks had gone off inside.

The large beast inside barely gave the fireworks or the momentary dance of Daniels’ flames even a seconds notice. It continued charging forward at whatever was in its path, head lowered to give the horns the full effect. The large amount of people running back and forth had at the start confused it, making it unable to pick a target but now it simply got to work destroying anything that was in its path. The ripple of Jay’s powers worked better than anything else. It stumbled. The beast lurched forward and lost its footing, landing heavily on one shoulder. Its head whipped around, snapping out at any objects nearby.

Back up was on its way.

Legion gave a soft smile as he felt the rush of energy from Ace. It was like having a deep, bottomless pool to draw upon. Alright. He focused, grasping the materials within the room and shaping what he needed. There was no shortage of things to use; the desk, chairs... parts of the wall. With an Ace-boost it took only the blink of an eye for a large to snake rise up. A fairly new design on Raleigh’s part; he had been working on it during his last few training sessions. It uncurled himself, opening a mouth to reveal jagged fangs.

It moved swiftly towards the nearest person, its purpose to curl around them and squeeze until they fell unconscious.

Elisa stumbled as Jay's shockwave hit her, going down to her knees to prevent the girls on her shoulders from falling off. When Jay suddenly seem to realize it hadn't been him that Diego had been yelling at, the shockwaves ended abruptly. Elisa got up and glanced around to see if there was anyone in the way towards the kitchen, where Clarence and Deb had been earlier, hoping it was a safe place considering they hadn't been busy fighting things in there. Nothing she could see but there was a weird snake-like thing next to Kimo.

Deal with that later. Now she had to get the girls out.

She headed towards the kitchen in hopes of finding a back door to drop the girls off and start helping her other teammates.
