[Will post foal image when I get home!]

"No...No!" Minuet held back her horrified screams, instead taking to a tortured, hushed gasp. Her legs trembled, quaking uncontrollably as slow hot beads of blood rolled down her once pristine ivory pelt. 'Hawked red locks swayed softly in the chilling night breeze, roots taking on a slight wave as she grew older by the day - but was still very much a child. Near voidless orbs with dots of electric blue pupils were wide in fear....what had she done....what had she done.

Her eyes drew over the gasping foal's body, squirming in agony as blood pooled around the slit in his neck...each ragged breath only pouring more blood out of the wound. It wouldn't be long before he bled to death, his eyes staring into her own in a horrific disbelief.

She....she didn't mean to! He'd been teasing her, biting at her flank and calling her such cruel names! He'd had a friend with him, but now the foal was long gone...probably racing back to his parents with news of the little monster which roamed the dark woods. It happened so fast...his teeth painfully enclosed around her ear, the yelling, the heat of the moment...and then she just snapped. Screaming out and lashing her small but still dangerously spiked tail at him....all before feeling the splatter of blood spray across her features.

What was she going to do!? It was an accident, but who would believe someone like her? She had to hide the body....there was nothing she could do anyways as slowly but surely the life was draining out of his eyes. "Oh god...." She breathed, if she wasn't so frightened she probably would have broken down and cried by now.

Erebus wandered through and through, his body moved like a cat through the brush he was swift and quiet. Dead quiet, he was good at that. Sneaking up on others, being quiet as death for sneak attacks, oh he and Set had had much fun. Though he was more of a terror now, now that he had been formally introduced to the unikalona Pandora. Her name wrang a familiar tune in his ear, Ares telling him to stay far away. But how could he, she was indeed psychotic but he was all he had for a teacher. To protect himself, to kill and how to. She was poor at it, she was just large and determined and thats how she got her way. That and the spikes on her head. He had to be clever, he had not so very sharp teeth, and no cloven hooves, no horns no sppikes. He had to plot things paticulary to work out and he also had to work harder than before. He was not going to be a lazy lup like the rest of the horses he had met.

His electric blue eyes widened as a familiar scent wound through him, copper and rust intertwined making his senses go wild. He trotted faster, he was better at tracking at least that was one good thing Pandora was good at besides torturing. He watched as he soon caught up with a little filly, she smelled familiar and those spikes he couldn't place it. It wouldn't be later till he realized it was her father that saved him from the river.

He rose a brow as he went to inspect the dead foal, his nostrils flared as he went and sniffed it. Big wide eyes stared blankly, clouded...he looked at the filly who was wide in shock. He ruffled his wings, "What are you fretting about?" he asked lowly. Electric eyes watched her most amused, he wouldn't ask her something stupid like 'did she do this' only morons would do that. No he would ask this to be simply sarcastic and not so much of a big deal, it wasn't really. The foal's parents probably had at least another one to baby until adult hood. This excuse for life wouldn't be missed.

Perking her ears, the hairs on the back of her neck rose with suspence. Although she could hear nothing beyond the intense bone-rattling beats of her rampaging heart, her instincts told her something or someone was afoot. Darting her orbs to and fro the clearing, she was slightly suprised to see a moving black form in the shadows before it moved into the moonlight flowing into the small woodland clearing. No use! She couldn't hide the body now...he was a witness. He didn't seem to be disturbed by the scene before her; or her current blood stained form.

Yet....he suprised her too. Instead of having the little wind turn on her and call her out like she may had been expecting; he simply inspected the near death foal before her before turning to ask her what had her in a ruckus. Minuet almost didn't even know what to respond with!

"Fretting...?" She echoed, before clearing her throat and trying to stop her legs from shaking. "I...didn't mean...I mean...I didn't intentionally kill him. I don't think..." Had she really instinctively thought he would be okay after that lashing out? Did she honestly believe that he would have been able to defend himself against her bloodline given spikes? All she wanted was him to stop bullying her...and then....here he was; dead. As the mental battle raged on in her mind, Minuet turned her gaze towards the colt...curious.

"What are you doing here....anyways?"

The foal looked to her, "I am a child of the dark, it's what I do." he replied to her simply. His father was the Angel of the Night, but he was far from an angel if anything the blackest of hearts. He was bemused with her response, for she had none. Apparently his reaction was not what she expected, but he knew that. He was odd, it was in his bloodline. He was supposed to be odd, an out cast, a misfit. He would do his best not to fail what his future made him out to be.

He looked at her under the moonlight, he eyed a mark on her flank as he looked back down the foal disgusted, "Don't explain yourself, it was a pathetic waste of a life. It wouldn't have made it far." he seemed sure of himself with his words as he looked to her. She intrigued him, he looked dark but inside she had sympathy for a creature that did not deserve it? This intrigued him, but he had never felt sympothy nor sorrow. He was not hollow, if anything he felt anger. But most of the days, he felt like an empty hole. To fill that hole he used fighting and blood lust but it was only temporary he learned this from Pandora. She said Ares had been the same but he had found something else to fill him permanantly. If only he could be so lucky, and not so lonely.

His dark eyes watched her, his dark body moved more ears flickering cautiously. "We should go, wolves will be here for the carcass, or worse.." he implied. He could just go by himself, but her prescence made him want to know more. He wondered if he could have another companion besides Set. He doubted it, but at least he would give it a shot.

Pathetic? Was any life really pathetic? Sure not everyone ammounted to the same futures but...he did seem to only have intrest of bullying her and bringing her down rather than just living his own life. As her eyes drew down on his now dead form as it lay in a pool of its own blood; a chill ran down her small spine realizing that she was strangely comfortable that he was now gone from the world....unable to bully anyone else.

Momma had killed, perhaps she was not the best example since her mind was most definately not all there but the crows she impaled with her horn to make hats were certianly not fit for that kind of torture? They did nothing to harm her or cause her any distress...it was simply a wrong place wrong time situation. She did love her mother though; and so did father...could killers be loved?

Drawn back from her thoughts, her brows lowered before blinking in a bit of an unnerved startle. She had not thought of what else would be lurking out in the dark; drawn by the fresh kill. She was only so lucky it had been this colt...but she assumed no other morbid-esque kids would be out which left only the things of nightmares. "Yes...lets go." She hushed out quickly, taking but a moment to try and shake the excess droplets of blood off her before drawing into a quick trot away from the scene. As she ran her tail swayed side to side quite quickly; warring off any sneak attack from behind unless well; they were tall enough to keep out of the tail's range. Occasionally she'd glance back to the colt; still curious on how she happened across him this eve. He'd given her his answer...but still.

Minuet wasn't the most accepting of fillies; not like the rest she's seen about from the shadows.

He had barely waited for her to acknowledge that they were leaving before he was moving. His quietness was eerie, already he had lost Pandora more than once just to show her she wasn't as good as she thought she was. She still had the ego of a kalona. He watched as she glanced at him occasionally, he snorted ever so slightly. He didn't like her eyeing him over like that. His glowing eyes flickered as he peered around the area. Something just didn't feel right and they were heading towards the river. He let his eyes narrow, hoping it was only his imagination. He felt as if it were one of Pan's games of trying to herd him. It could have only been his mind.

He hadn't known many in his family that hadn't harmed another or taken a life. Erik had, Ares, Isis, Set, Sekhmet, Atum and Aureate in their own way. He wasn't sure about his closest sibling, he seemed a bit fluttery. To nice. Though Aureate was like that too, both Atum and himself had mates. Females weren't looked at in Erebus best opinnion. None of them had really exceeded his expectations. This one only intrigued him from the familiar spikes and the death of the imbecile foal that seemed to be bugging her.

He could hear the scent of the water but he avoided the direction and darted into the bushes just to make sure. He slowed down and stopped adruptly as he concealed himself in the brush and watched. If she were smart she'd do the same, her spikes wouldn't protect her from everything.
