Annie, are you Okay Will you tell us that you’re Okay
Tattooing has always been impressed upon me as an art form, and my father is covered in them. He has Iwo Jima and the Twin Towers on his back, eagles and flags, the POW MIA sign on his leg, and all kinda of other cool tats that are Patriotic, or of his family. And i've just turned 18.
I know that Tats are supposed to be self-expression, so I decided to go with one thing that I remember doing daily at age 9... ZELDA. i'm thinking something along the lines of this but small, just below my navel.
What do you think of Gaming & Tattoos? What do you think of Tats as a form of art & self-expression? Do you have any Tattoos?

What do you think of Gaming & Tattoos? I love gaming. I've been a gamer since I was little. I like tattoos, not all of them but most.
What do you think of Tats as a form of art & self-expression? Yeah I would say it's a form of art. The artist thinks/dreams up the idea, then makes it happen with whatever medium he/she happens to work in. As for self-expression, I'd say yes. It's like how we pick the clothes or jewelry we like to wear. Like a reflection of our taste, only it's something alittle more for keeps.
Do you have any Tattoos? Nope, I don't have any. If I did get one, I'd want it to be very detailed.

Destiny isn't something that's chosen or preordained... I loove the tat your getting, Oogie! LoZ is pretty awesome, I haven't seen many people get gaming tats before. (I guess I haven't been paying attention much.) xP
I want a tattoo of my own as well. I was thinking of getting something close to this on my back around my hip area. I've been doing that sport for years, and it really describes what I love to do.
I also want a tat that's something like this either getting the evil or angel side, not both. xP And it'd be colored black & purple, my 2 favorite colors. Haha, it's like I have this all planned out. It's something that only becomes reality when you find it for yourself.

What do you think of Gaming & Tattoos? Gaming is simply amazing. I adore playing video games during my spare time xD I'm a lazy bugger. Tattoo-ing in the form of video game characters/names etc I think personally isn't a bad idea. I'm not the person to judge, and if I see someone walking down the street with a Pikachu tat of their arm or somewhere revealed (>.>) I think, "Hey, they must love Pikachu! Good on them!" Pikachu's just a legend- double the excuse to get a tat of that cute yellow fuzzball ^^ I guess tat's are just scarring your own body, but in an artistic way n.n I think they're amazing overall, great self-expression, and I think you can tell what kind of people they are by looking at their tats (most of the time)
What do you think of Tats as a form of art & self-expression? I'm an art and design student-- I think people should have the freedom to express themselves in any manner they wish! Whether it's tattooing, peircings, implants (like bone implants), or any other forms of bodily art (as long as it's publicly acceptable I guess)
Do you have any Tattoos? I myself don't have any tattoos, I'm quite afraid to scar my own body. I guess I'd have something I love but the question is- will I get bored of it? Or similar questions on wanting it removed -.- I'd love to have a dolphin of some sort, surrounded by waves, like in a spiritual motion ^^ Yeah, I have a passion for dolphins, and always will ^^ so I guess that's something to debate on. My boyfriend has quite a few tat's on himself, I think they're pretty impressive, and kinda influences me to get one myself.

My fiancee also has a tattoo, and he says it doesn't bore him, it simply became part of him. I never even think of it until I see it again, i'm always surprised, lol. He has a simple tribal band.

What do you think of Gaming & Tattoos?: Love gaming, but personally, would never get a tattoo that had anything to do with a game, because in 10 years I could not like that game anymore, and wouldn't want the tattoo anymore. Personally, I'd only get a tattoo if it had some sort of meaning behind it.
What do you think of Tats as a form of art & self-expression?: I think it's a great way to express yourself.
Do you have any Tattoos?: I have one tattoo. I got it a year ago last September when I was 19. It's a memoriam tattoo for my sister, who passed away in 2005 at the age of 21. It's on my left shoulder blade. [x]

It started out as Melanoma when she was 19 (skin cancer, which is why I'm against tanning beds and such). She went through treatments, finished in March of 2005. Around the end of September, or October she started having really bad headaches. After an MRI we found out she had two tumors on her brain. December 12th she had a seizure and fell down our basement stairs, and a week later she passed away in the hospital. One of the tumors was growing faster than her radiation treatments could shrink it, and it shifted her brain to the right. The tumors could have been removed, but the rate of her surviving for a long period of time weren't high, and she would have been in the hospital the rest of her life, so my parents decided to let her go, because they didn't want her to suffer anymore.

I don't like tattoos that are random like gaming tattoos. I think that tattoos should only mark something that you experienced. An example would be a date or a picture of something that happened to you. And to answer the last one, not am not planning to get a tattoo.
Also, did you father serve in the Pacific war?

That's very noble to let her not suffer anymore, I don't know how I could cope with a tragedy like that, my grandmother was severely upset because she had to put her cat to sleep, imagine sending off a loved one. I'm right with you on the anti-cancer stuff, i'm worried about my fiancee dying, because he and his father both smoke, and his father has had Leukemia.

I think it is whatever you want to do. If this is what you want, go for it. Just remember that you will have this on you for the rest of your life - unless you get that removal surgery which costs $$$$.
I actually have a friend of mine who has a tattoo of jiggly puff on his arm. I have another friend who is crazy about avenged seven fold and got a A7X tattoo on her leg.
I personally have 2 tattoos. Both stars. Basic. purple in color. One is outlined in black and the other has no outline.
Honestly, its your body. just be completely sure that this is really what you want. and where you want it.
