Yeah well i beat the game with A level 79 party of 2 Knights, a White and Black wizard. I beat all the extra dungeons too.

very nicely done, i've never had the patience to beat it...the story line isn't interesting enough and it gets so hard to level up after lvl 15, so i just give up...i still need to beat I, II, and III

chaos.ultima.mage very nicely done, i've never had the patience to beat it...the story line isn't interesting enough and it gets so hard to level up after lvl 15, so i just give up...i still need to beat I, II, and III Was 1 really that bad?

it was basically
npc: "hey, we need this, light warriors, go get it"
npc: "hey, now we need this, go get it"
npc: "great, now go kill this guy and bring us this for the greater good"
and it is SOOO HARD! at lvl 15 you still die like at lvl 1, at least on my game...it has difficulty settings...

Alot of training is involved. half the game is luck...because if your training and you run into a Adamantoise or anything else that you do literally 2 or 3 damage to, your screwed. stare

I didn't find it that challenging not even the bonus bosses. For all of you that think its hard get a monk/blackbelt and when he turns into a master then he does like over 2500 with his fists 0.o

Balmungoftheazureskies Yeah well i beat the game with A level 79 party of 2 Knights, a White and Black wizard. I beat all the extra dungeons too. The GBA game let's you go above level 50? I know Origins let's you, but only on easy.

I cant even get past the first boss XD crying I suck. I Wish they would have kept making ff games that hard though...

I never finished FF1 - I couldn't get past a boss, and I was gonna try again... BUT THEN I LEFT THE CARTERAGE, ALONG WITH MY GBASP ON AN AIRPLANE!!!!!!!! crying scream sweatdrop stressed cry

I only played FF1 for the NES, so maybe i'm missing something but... i could just never keep my party XD. I always started over because i wanted a different team combo. I'd fight and easily bash my way through until i got to the pirates, then beat them, get the ship, and finally i'd say something close to: "Screw it, this team sucks. I'm going to triple blackbelts with a red mage!"
And so on and so forth until the game was lost somewhere in eternity. Wish i could play it again though...
oh, but congrats to you ^_^

I never actually owned a NES. I was a late starter, because my mom hated video games.
