[This RP is for the Entrance of Falke the Norwegian Forest Cat into the Territory of Hananeko Park. This business is between him and the Staff member Spinner the Japanese Bobtail. No others are permitted into the vicinity while the exam is going on, if they do consequences will be issued.

Spinner clapped her hands and looked around her at the apartment building that reached up into the sky high above her. She was here on offical business to bring a cat into the territory. There seemed to be a lot of that going pn lately and t was keeping her on her toes keeping the records of who was going where. But it was nice to know that finally something exciting was going on. Ikebokuro had been a somewhat quiet place until recently, now it was bustling with stray cats. Of course stray cats was always a sad thing, but in their case it was great. The bigger the community, the more vibrant and enjoyable it would be. Today was Touya's turn, she'd decided on the Yorino Apartment Complex just behind NyanMan's. She's said something about not wanting to have to choose between Kouji and Kure... she hadn't really been listening. Spinner was early for once in her life so she took a look around to get her bearings straight.

While sleeping in the park almost on the other side of town, Touya had lost track of time! She dashed on her fluffy white paws towards the apartments. She'd been interested in either Yorino or Nyanman's and they were pretty close, so she always checked out both places at once. Running through the bustling streets, avoiding getting her nose caught in a door or tail under a foot, she had finally arrived. The apartments touched the bright blue sky; it was a perfect day to pick out the territory.
She was supposed to meet Spinner, the Bobtail cat somewhere around the apartment for the appointment. She didn't know if she was late. Rushing through all the streets made her lose even more track of time. She peered around the corner, trying to find the bobtail somewhere nearby.

Spinner caught sight of the Albino and took off after her, planning to pounce her when she caught up. Spinner dodged around corners and avoided a small dog who occupied the neighborhood who loved to bark until he went hoarse. Spinner finally caught up with Touya and pounced her gleefully. "Gotcha!" she yelled quickly jumping off and sitting on her haunches tilting her head and grinning. Touya was such a sweet little thing, Kouji liked to talk about her on occasion but recently he'd been distracted by Raelyn.

The white coated kitty cat was caught off guard by the cat who had just sprung herself close to Touya. The albino kitty nearly turned around and ran for it, but heard Spinners voice. "Hi Spinner! Good to see you~" She said with a gentle kitty cat smile. Touya hadn't really known Spinner, just that she was going to be the one to seal the deal with her living in Yorino.

Spinner nodded to Touya, "Good to see you as well Touya, seems you've come a long way since you arrived here at Ikebokuro. So Yorino Apartments, huh, gotta ask, why here?" she said tilting her head, it was part of her job to ask and she was curious. She'd gotten the brief idea but she wanted to, excuse the saying, straight from the horses mouth.

Touya smiled. She didn't feel that she progressed anymore as a free collar in the time she'd come to Ikebokuro. She listened to Spinner's question and seemed sort of confused on how to answer. She didn't really know why she chose here. "Well, I'd have to say that this place is just homey. It brings back the memories yet... it doesn't." She replied looking down to the ground with a worried tail swish. "whoops, i guess that didn't really answer your question a lot." She apologized. "I would also say because it's not overly crowded. I just don't feel noticed in a crowd. Out of place. Yorino, unlike Nyanman's or East Ikebokuro, is pretty empty to free collars." She said bringing a smile on her face.

Spinner rubbed her thumb across her cheek, that was an answer she'd never heard before. But she guessed it was a plausible reasoning, wanting to be in a less populated territory as not to 'get lost in the crowd'. "Okay then, sounds good enough to me." she said shrugging, it was her reasoning and that's not really what mattered in her entering the territory unless she's said was in there to sabotage the place. "Well then Touya, you're aware you have to take an exam to join a territory correct? Well that is what will determine whether or not you are accepted into this territory, are you ready for your exam, Touya?" Spinner asked waving her in the airto the Apartments behind as if they were some kind of ultimate prize.

Touya's ears perked in shock. She wasn't told about a test at all. "an... examination?" She said in a sort of not ready tone of voice. She had to be ready for it though, even if her combat skills were below average in her eyes. "I g-guess I'm ready for it. Y-yea!" She said, preparing herself for the worst to come by the examination. "Let's go!" Touya finished, sounding a little more confident right now. She really wasn't ready though, but she was going to face anything that came her way if it meant getting into Yorino. She didn't really know how to use any weapons other than her own claws and teeth.

Spinner resumes her pose of her hands on her hips. "Okay Touya, Yorino as you have already noticed is a very open territory with many wide areas in which we are exposed. Some of the humans around here aren't too keen about us strays hanging around. And on occassion, they'll set traps. You need to make sure no matter how hungry you are to stay away from these, they'll stick whole cans of cat food in there or fresh meat. Just don't fall for it okay?" she said looking behind her noticing on of the cages which she's tripped earlier that day so no one would get caught.
"Touya, you need you need to know how to trip those traps and if someone gets caught in them how to get them out." she said looking at Touya seriously. "This is your exam Touya; there are three other traps here in the area, the first trap I'll show you how to trip it and release it. The other two I need you to show me that you can do it. If you can get it, this territory will be welcome to you as home." she said looking at Touya, wondering if Touya was ready for such a task.

Touya's ears perked. The task at hand seemed easy. but as they always say, it's easier said than done, right? The metal cages seemed like a nightmare now that she noticed them. She never really saw them while she explored the area multiple times a day. She nodded her head at Spinner's words, "okay, got it! Where does the first trap lay?" She said eagerly. She really wanted to pass and live in this territory and no silly human trap was going to stop her from getting this.

Spinner nodded and pointed over by a large tree there, near it base was a trap. Inside lay a small plate with a few bits of fish laying in it. Something most cats would easily not even think about and walk in to grab. Spinner looked up Touya. "You'll be needing to constantly check these traps, they aren't always out, usually about once or twice a week. But when they are out we need to make sure no cats get caught inside. Otherwise we never see them again." she said.
Spinner then proceeded to show Touya how to use a good sized stick to prod to latch on the inside of the cage. When Spinner hit it and nudged it the cage door snapped shut with a loud clang. "Now, you can do that, or to be smart if the bang doesn't startle you too much you can stick your paw in over here and tap it a few times until the trigger goes off...got it?" she asked looking over at Touya making sure she took it all in.

Touya flinched at the loud sound that was emitted from the single trap. She stepped closer and examined it carefully, sniffing it and looking for the trigger that Spinner had just pulled. It now seemed much harder to do... "so you use a stick or your paw? won't your paw get stuck?" She asked cautiously, holding her hand close to her body with her other hand, a bit scared of losing a paw or even two to a metal death trap.

Spinner shook her head, "See if you go to side the of the trap and stick your paw in here..." she stuck her own paw inside and grabbed the now limp and dangling trigger. "You won't get stuck or anything." Spinner pulled back her paw and then gave Touya another seriously look. "Now this is really important, how to release the trap so a cat can get out." she said.
"This part a trickier... You gotta squeeze yourself into this little nich and push to set the trap back up basically." she said digger her feet into the metal bars and pushing hard with her back, the door creaked back into place with a snap. "Careful not to push too hard, take it slow. Once it's open and the other cat is out, get out yourself and trip it again." she said. Spinner turned to the outside of the cage stuck her paw in, grabbed the trigger and yanked it out of place, causing the trap to snap closed again. "You think you can do that Touya?" she asked.

Touya paid attention, going through the process step by step in her head. it seemed dangerous to her but she wanted to try it anyways. "Yes, I think I can handle it." She said, ready to try her newly taught skill to the test on a real trap. "Do i try with this or do i go to hunt one down?" Touya asked cautiously, not sure if she was jumping too far ahead or not with asking to try it out already after only being told a few seconds before.

Spinner looked at the trap behind her. "There's no point in messing with this trap any more. There are two others. I want you to trip both of them and one I want you to re-open an trip again just to show me you can do it. Don't want to just have you trip them and end up getting yourself caught by accident in one with no one there." she said. I'll go with you, there's one just behind this building here and one over by the dumpsters." she said looking at Touya, it was all up to her now.
