Oh, you bet they're awesome!
I'm even willing to cross a country to get them, which is what I've doing the last months 'cause I can't find them in here.
It is really a shame bookstores here don't sell such a good series. But it is even more shameful that the translation into my language sucks so much. I bought the first in a fun trip I made with some friends to the U.S. and though OMG! How was able to live without Artemis Fowl before? I went to the local bookstores (once in home after finishing the book) and then realized the oh so sadly truth. I looked on wikipedia to see if they even have them on my language and when I saw they do..., and the BIG changes they've made to the character's names... it was so crappy I wanted to kill those b*****d translators.
And now I'm awaiting the next chance to go (or send someone or bug someone on his way there xD) to buy me the new book.
I'm dying in the agony of waiting.

I LOVE that series! Artemis is my favourite character, and I prefer the first three books when he's less "nice" just because I find it more interesting. I think that all of the books are rather amusing, too. xd Does anyone think Colfer has a similar sense of homour to Lemony Snicket?

I love them all, but I think the fourth one seemed a little impersonal sence what Holly took Artimis at the end of the third book.

I've been thinking about reading those...although an old friend of mine said they're really boring and never to read them...
But then again, someone else also thought Vampire Diaries was boring, and I loved it. So I guess I'll read those.

I really liked the Artemis Fowl series although I first thought that I wouldn't... perhaps because of my sister? I dunno. But they're pretty good... anyone know if there's a new one coming out soon?
