a young man walked down a dusty road. he was dressed in black, a sheathed blade on his back and a baby panda bear waking beside him.

A woman and her Siberian Husky were resting after a long walk by a large stream. The woman was sitting on a medium sized rock that was half in the water and half on land. She took her black leather boots off, placed them on the rock behind her, and dipped her feet in the water.
"Ahh, now that hits the spot." She closed her eyes and looked up, appreciating what a nice day it was. However, her three month old pet and friend kept standing on the sand, staring at the stream as if afraid of the steady ripple of the calm current. The young woman noticed after a moment and splashed the feet of the puppy. The young dog immediately jumped back a little and barked one small 'woof' of annoyance.
The woman laughed, splashing the Husky again. "Don't be such a sour sport! I can see you sweating from here, you stubborn little thing. If you'll just get into the water a little bit, you'll cool off right away." As if he had heard her, the young dog glanced at the stream, as if debating something.
The young woman splashed the her companion yet again. The three month old had had it. He got a running start and jumped full-force into the calm water, drenching his friend completely.
"Uh!" The woman yelped and held her arms up to defend her face just in time, yet she was still pretty much soaked. "I knew you'd come in, if only to get back at me. Isn't that right, little-buddy?"
The Siberian Husky barked in agreement, and the woman smiled.

The woman on the rock and the pup in the water were stunned by the sudden interruption. The young woman slid on to her stomach and down the rock a little so that she was mostly hidden from foreign eyes; only her fingers and eyes would be visible. At the same time the Husky got out of the river, shook most of the water off his coat, and crawled up the rock to join his mistress; only his ears and snout would be visible.
"I wonder what they're here for, buddy." The woman whispered to her companion, scratching the dog's ears. He didn't make any noise in response for fear of getting heard, so his tail twitched in understanding instead.

"ah... this feels great..." the man was interupted by the gurgle of his companions belly.

"looks like someone is hungry. how about i do some fishing and you go pick some mushrooms and hearbs so that i can make something good for dinner?" the man smiled to his friend.

the panda smiled and nodded his head in compliance.

" good then come right back when you get a paw full and i will start to cook. understand?" the man waved his finger to the bear.

moki nodded again and jumped to the shore in one leap.

the man then gulped down a big lung full of air and dived down into the water. It wasnt long till the man had found a good sized fish. that was the hard part. the easy part was catching the fish.

the man removed his blade from its sheath and slashed at the fish with the dull end of his blade. the fish was stunned. the man replaced his blade, grabed the fish and went back up to ther surface.

he tossed the fish to the river bank. he went ashore got dressed, made a circle with some river stones and tossed some twigs onto the center of it.

"i wonder were that silly bear has gotten him self into. he should be back by now..." the man spoke to him self.

the panda turned around and spoted a strange girl laying at his feet. the panda smiled and lent out his paw to the fallen stranger. grunting slightly and showed her the great big paw full of mushrooms and herbs in his other paw.

A boy was hiking through the woods. He was wearing an olive green t-shirt, khaki cargo shorts, plaid blue boxers, proper grey socks, big brown hiking boots, a black watch on his left wrist, and an emerald stone on a leather string as a necklace. He had messy slightly thick brown hair with shiny green eyes and clean teeth that complemented his large smile. He was extremely tall, a little on the skinny side, with large hands and feet. Some would say he was the human form of his monkey companion that rode along on his shoulders, minus the tail o' course.

"Yeah, it looks like we should camp out too." The woman said to her companion, watching the man and his bear prepare for bed down by the river. Then she whistled to her dog and began walking in the other direction, crossing the river by walking on a log that stretched all the way across. They went back to the same camp site they've been using for a day or two, which was uphill from the river in the woods just enough to hide them from view, The woman took out some food for her Husky, fed it to him, and then laid down in her sleeping bag. She wasn't hungry or sleepy yet, so she took out her journal and jotted down the day's activities. Then she watched her companion fall asleep beside her before dozing off herself.

*ah..." the man and bear had finnished eating and were full.
the bear yawned and stretched his arms, falling backward he giggled with a bit smile of content on his face.

"try to get some sleep moki i have a feeling that tomarrow will be a really eventful day." the man spoke to the bear and sat down next to a big rock to rest. he tipped the edge of his hat over his eyes and closed his eyes.

the panda crawled over to his partner and huggled him, the man wraped his arms around his friend and they both fell asleep.
