So the time has finally arrived when I can safely say that yes, skinny jeans are finally out and I am soooo happy! I’ve never really been a big fan of skinny jeans and let’s face it; they do NOT flatter most people unless you’re wearing 5-inch heels, which most of us aren’t….they don’t complement your figure.
So if you were one of those people sporting the skinny jeans, you can slowly say your goodbyes and move on to bigger and better things such as the wide-leg jeans, which I am a fan of. Not only do wide-leg jeans look better on everyone, but they’re so much easier to wear! Since they don’t shrink at the bottom and they flare out, it will give the illusion of a longer, thinner silhouette. You can wear these babies with flip-flops, chunky heels and even wedges, they’ll still look good!
Since the wide-leg jean just came back in fashion, I would suggest going and trying on different styles to see which ones better suit you. Grab a dark pair for when you go out at night and a light pair for during the day.
My favorite combination is a wide-leg pant with a puffy-sleeve or a billowy top and a pair of wedges. This look will work almost anytime anywhere. Just add some accessories and you’re good to go!
But either way, I am extremely happy that skinny jeans are no longer a go, and I can finally bid my goodbyes!!

Skinny jeans never bugged me. I know I'd look AWFUL in them so I never wore them but some people love them to itty bitty pieces. Can't imagine they will stop wearing them. I've heard some people say it's a forever thing. Like flare or bootcut.

I was always way too scared to wear them, but my best friend always wore them and, surprisingly, looked good in them. But I think she'll stop wearing them, as she's a bit of a sheep...

Skinny jeans... the only jeans that fit me right. But I hate them. I prefer baggy jeans with legs that flay on the ground from being dragged and that get caught on my hips. large pockets, too. I'm miffed at my mom for making me buy skinny-esq jeans.

Finally, I never really liked these. I hope the guys at my school stop wearing them though.

Yeah I drove by a high school the other day and got stopped at light. I saw a pack of wild emu and started laughing so hard. These kids were such Scene Sheep. I live in Illinois so it took awhile for the look to bleed in from the coasts but there they were, boys in girl pants and bad haircuts for all.
The best part? You could tell they were preppy! Standing around with their noses in the air, exuding that we-are-so-cool because Mummy and Daddy buy-us-everything vibe. Had to laugh. Which made them stare at me, which made me laugh harder.

Haha, yeah i know what you guys are saying, i used to really despise them, and mostly because i couldn't imagine myself being able to wear them, and they were EVERYWHERE... like, all of the stores in my city were packed with them...
then i ended up going to school in swaziland, africa, and my old jeans were too beat up, so i went to get a new pair, and guess what, i end up finding a pair of skinny jeans that are actually really flattering on me... and i have a butt and hips and all that stuff that usually makes them look bad..
i guess the thing is that you have to find the exact right pair, cause otherwise you are screwed. and it is too difficult of a style to be "mass fashion"

I don't know what you mean about skinny jeans being 'out' because I just came back from living in Europe for a year, and that was all people wore over there. Now that I am back in Canada, I am JUST starting to see them in stores here, and more and more people seem to be wearing them. Personally I think they can look amazing, but you have to have the right body type.

Lol, I've never been able to "keep up" with fashion. I wear what I want, when I want.
I was in London in September last year, girls there are still sporting the skinny jeans and Ugg boots.
I bought my first pair about a year ago, and I love them. Got my second pair about 4 months later, love them even more. I don't like the way they look in light denim, but they look great in dark blue or black. I think some people can pull off coloured ones, but not everbody. White ones, for some reason, can look pretty awesome.
I also don't think you have to wear heels or those "ballet flats" or whatever the hell they call them to make skinnies look good. I can't wear ballet flats, they eat up my heels, I just wear black sneakers.
And they look fine with flip-flops.
And I don't know what the hell you're thinking. You need hips to be able to sport them, and because they're so tight they make butts look great.
Very.Slowly.Dying.

They're not that bad. xD I didn't use to like them, but then found a perfect pair. And it did make my leg look smaller. They're not all that comfy, but it's not like I'm gonna wear them everyday. It looks good with flat shoes, chucks, whatever. And it seems that black or darker colours are the best. :3
