Don't know who Leven Thumps is?

Has anybody read the first few books of the series? (The ones that are currently out.)
I had quite a shock while reading Leven Thumps and the Eyes of the Want. Though I had intuition... I was still like " gonk " (spoiler ahead) after I found out the Want was his Grandfather. I was squealing wildly. @_@
Other than that, I think the plot is flowing pretty good. I'm excited about the next book and can't wait for it to be released (though I'm not sure exactly when that will be ._.; )

Have to say, I'd never even heard of this series until you posted, but now you've got me curious. My library doesn't have it, and it got mixed reviews in the professional literture. I'll add it to my (ever-growing) list.

My library doesn't have it either, otherwise I would have seen it by now.
Instead... I discovered it by just kind of glancing over the young adults section in Barnes & Nobles, and the cover just kind of reeled me in.
I had never heard of it before, which can sometimes have an advantage... not as popular, so it hasn't gotten ruined just yet (when I say ruined, I mean with publicity; kind of how Harry Potter and Eragon.) I hope that never happens to this series... I would be heartbroken. gonk

I've found out that the 4th book to this series comes out on September 30th of this year. I'm soooo excited.
