 Izotz strolled through a new area of the woods that he hadn't explored yet, ignoring the darkening of the clouds that foretold rain. He leaped onto a fallen tree and did a little twirl before hopping off again and continuing on his way. A clap of thunder roared through the air, so loud that the ground seemed to shake in its wake. One of Izotz's mismatched eyes turned to look up at the sky, and then he grinned.

 Jenna wandered around in the darkening forest. She sighed as she rested against a tree. She was lost. She looked around, trying to see if there was anything she recognized, but there wasn't. She looked up at the sky with a worried expression on her face. She knew she was most likely going to be stuck trying to find her way back home in a storm. She didn't like the idea. The last time she had been in a storm, she had danced in the rain with Izotz. That had been fun, but now she was alone, and lost. She looked down at the ground and then finally forced herself to keep going. She wasn't going to get anywhere by just sitting there.

Izotz's grin vanished when he heard the sound of someone approaching. He tilted his head and his eyes shot from place to place, looking for who might be coming. "Hello?"

Jenna hadn't walked far when she heard someone. She was a little startled at first because she wasn't expecting anyone to be out here. The voice didn't sound mean. In fact, it almost sounded familiar. "Hello, who's there?" she questioned.

Izotz blinked one eye, then the other. It wasn't hard for him to place Jenna's voice. After all, she's probably the Namir he's talked with the most. Deciding to have a little fun, he responded, "Me."

"Me?" Jenna thought for a moment. The voice did sound so familiar but she couldn't quite put her finger on it. Then she thought of Izotz. She had just been thinking of him, could it really be him? What a coincidence she thought. But she still wasn't sure.
Rain began to pour out of the sky, reminding Jenna to keep moving forward. Finally she was able to see Izotz's familiar face.
"Izotz!" she called, "It is you!" She smiled now, the rain no longer bothersome.

"It is?" Izotz looks over himself with false shock, but not able to keep the grin off his face. "Well would you look at that. And here I was thinking that I was Jennifer Lopez."
He held out a paw to catch a couple of rain drops.

Jenna laughed at his comment.
"Jennifer Lopez? I'm sorry, you look nothing like her." She giggled a little bit more before stopping. She was standing next to him now, and she watched him as he held his paw out to catch the rain drops. It was then that she remembered that it was even raining. Something about seeing Izotz had made her forget all about it. She laughed at herself as she realized this. She too held out her hand to catch some raindrops.

"How could you say that? I work hard to keep my girlish figure." Izotz tried his best to look offended, but his grin ruined it. He tilted his paw at an angle so that the rain drops ran down his arm. It was nice to have company. Not that he wasn't enjoying his little walk before Jenna showed up. It's just that her company made this much more enjoyable it seemed.

She put her hand up to her mouth and giggled some more.
"Oh really? I had no idea. But if it helps any, I think you're much better looking than Jennifer Lopez."
She smiled and watched him as he let the rain run down his arm. It was nice to have some care-free company. It made her feel at ease, despite the fact that her fur and her hair were dripping wet. She had to admit, it was refreshing though. Or maybe that was just Izotz...she wasn't sure.

"Well thank ya darling," he said with best female voice, and ended with a wink. He laughed and then added, "I'm starting to creep myself out, so I'm going to stop now."

Jenna chuckled.
"Yeah...you're starting to creep me out too." She smiled, to show that she wasn't completely serious, just joking. She did think he was very odd, but it didn't change her opinion of him.
"So anyway Izotz...what are you doing out here?"

"Exploring and waiting for the rain." Izotz turned his face up to feel the rain as it beat down on him. "You?"

"Really? You were waiting for it?" she asked him, not that it really surprised her. "I guess you really love the rain hm?" she chuckled.
"Well...I...was actually lost..." she told him, blushing a little bit.

"Ahhh, well then I was glad that I was out here to find you." Izotz's lips formed an easy smile, looking a bit like a drowned squirrel standing underneath rain. "And yes, I really love the rain."
