 Crowfeather lay on a hill just outside of camp, staring into the star strewn sky. He and Nightcloud had been distant recently. He new deep down he felt something for her, but his want for Feathertail overruled. He loved her, didnt that mean something? He hadnt seen her since that night on the river, and he missed her. He actually missed nightcloud's comforting presence a bit too. He had left Mudclaws lead that morning. He felt disloyal and ashamed. He sighed, wondering why Starclan tortured him so.

Nightcloud trounced up behind Crowfeather, the previous days forgotten. Feathertail and Birchsong were wiped from her mind as she spotted her mate, Crowfeather. "Crowfeather, dearest," She smiled as she stretched out and lay down beside him.

Crowfeather's ears perked at a familiar voice and he turned to his 'mate.' She seemed...happy...after their period of being away from each other. He smiled weakly. At least Nightcloud wasnt giving up on him. She was the only connection that really kept him going in Windclan.
"Nightcloud...I know that you dislike what I had done, following mudclaw for a while...I've left them now. I am loyal to my clan, and that means my leaders aswell...I've just been so...confused latley..." He meowed, gazing up at the stars, seeking guidance and help.

Nightcloud smiled and twined her tail in her mate's. "Thank you, Crowfeather." Her grin widened as she stretched out further, obviously pleased that Crowfeather had decided to leave Mudclaw and his troupe of troublemakers and do the right thing. It was as if he was trying to please her... but why?
Oh. That's why. Her mind was flashing back to the night when she had spotted Crowfeather and Feathertail, one of RiverClan's females, intertwined within each other. He was trying to make up for that night, possibly. Very possibly.
((Caffe said yes! She also said you're greedy for wanting a kit from Birchy and Night. xD Check out RP to see all what was said~ We all feel sorry for Birchsong, but Caffe is sure she can find him someone. I'm sure, too. xD He's so sweet. <3))

"I'm sorry, also, for being so distant latley...I guess memories are clouding my judgement," He meowed quietly, closing his eyes, and pressing his nose into Nightcloud's shoulder, inhaling her familiar scent. They were just memories now, so why could he not get past them?
((XD I know, I saw~ But, for putting up with this nutjob plot, she'll get a Crow and Night kit hopefully ^^))

Nightcloud looked over at Crowfeather, suddenly feeling sorry for the dark gray warrior. Her eyes softened. "Oh, Crowfeather... It's fine..." Memories? Thoughts of Feathertail flooded back to her, but she quickly shrugged them away, wanting to think of more positive things. She smiled as he pressed his nose into her fur, wondering what was swimming through his head.

He wanted so deperatley to let go of the silver Riverclan she-cat, but it was so hard...He wanted to be with Nightcloud so much...As long as she was with him, he would be fine. He just needed to spend more time with her (hinthint*mauled*) and then he'd forget about his past...but this was nought but optimism...desperate optimism.
"I hope it is...and I hope it stays that way..." He murmmered quietly.

Nightcloud glanced over at him, her eyes filled with sorrow and worry. "Oh, it will be, Crowfeather, it will be..." Her voice was soft, like that of a mother comforting her child. She smiled lightly at him, still worried. What was he thinking about? She wondered, not truly wanting to know. She knew very well what he was thinking about, and she needed to get her off his mind. But how? "Crowfeather..." She started, and trailed off, not knowing why she was even going to try. He wouldn't want to, and she knew that, but it was worth a shot.

Crowfeather cleared his mind, letting only what was happening now be in his head. it worked fairly well...He breathed in Nightcloud's scent, letting it wreathe his senses. He sweet voice echoed through his head. He slowly opened his eyes, letting his gaze meet Nightcloud's. He seemed calmer than usual, his sharp tounge subside by his thought of his mate,a nd only his mate.
"Yes, Nightcloud?"
