So there are a lot of spin offs of Peter Pan so I was just wondering, what's your favorite? Mine is Peter and the Starcatchers series. biggrin

Probably the book, 'Capt. Hook: Adventures of a Notorious Youth'. I love how well the story sticks with the original novel, and it's so dark and detailed. ^_^

Hey! There's a Peter and the Starcatchers discussion thread I started in the Books subforum... You should check it out! xD

Oooh! Ooh! My favorite is the live-action version that was made in either 2003 or 2004! (I don't remember which!)I love that one because Jeremey and Jason were so perfect in the leading roles, and so sexy!! heart heart

I know this may sound cliche.. but I like pretty much all of them. Now... this "Anime" version I've never seen before. Something I should probably check out.

Hook. Forever and always. Though I did enjoy the 2003 version.

But this is the most horrifying interpretation I've ever seen.

There are only two Peter Pan related things that after I watched them I wanted to put myself out of my misery... The animated Australian version, and Neverland. *falls over on the ground in a fetal poistion, sucking her thumb*

Is that the one where Hook is an ugly old dude? D:

Neverland was just so...ugh!!! I was in such a bad mood after it was over. Hook was so creepy! I mean, I love a creepy Hook as much as the next guy, but jeez! He raped Tiger Lily! Who is a crossdressing man. And Tinker Bell died of an OD. No. Just no.

I shall have to check this fanfic out! o__O There aren't many Peter Pan related fanfictions that I have liked, (or that didn't make me angry, or something... xD) so I want to read this one now. ^^;

This is the website for it...The only thing that may be an issue is the story is for an adult reader....The entire website is for adult readers...
But the story itself is good...

I find that the stories here (though most are not for young eyes) are very thrilling...My favorite author there is Dancing_Salome (but one has to read her finished stories becuase she isnt posting anymore)

I'll always love the original novel.

Honestly, I'm afraid to read the Starcatcher series/books unwritten by Barry. I'm afraid they'll be silly. neutral

I loved the 2003 movie, though. Jeremy Sumpter is adorable. x__x

xD The Starcatcher books are engaging and fun, they're actually quite dark and mature... But they stray VERY FAR from the original novel. (Which is my favorite, as well) I enjoyed reading them, but they made me mad. xD
