The next day, after his arrival back with his father and gaining the staff and journal, he decided to go out and practice what Minty had taught him the day before. His first location of major training would of course be, the ocean. He went to the sea shore and found himself in a vast amount of water. "This training is going to be good." he said to himself as he made his way closer to the shore.
He then went on and decided to begin. "Vampire Sylas Magicu - Water Control!" he yelled. Then, with his staff in hand, he raised it. Creating a pool of the ocean to rise up from the rest in a whip formation. He did notice that the staff helped him a lot. It was a lot easier today than it had been yesterday. He smiled, and moved his staff to the right and left. As he moved, so did the water. It was exciting for him to begin this training.
He then decided to do some freezing. While the water was in the air, raised. He decided to see if he could switch it, mid control, to see if the staff really did help. He tried to freeze the water into a tower of ice. The first few tries were unsuccessful. But then, as he did it, each time it began to become a bit easier. He raised the water, and mid control, he'd try and freeze it. He finally did get the hang of it and he was able to change things mid control. He was also getting faster at controlling the water, which was his first goal.
He picked up a whip of water out of the ocean and began to swirl it around his body. He smiled and then tossed it back. He then laid on the sand and watched the clouds roll by with his staff in hand, resting a bit before going back to work.

Where was she? She couldn't have gone far, she wouldn't have gone far. If she hadn't gone though, where was she. Should the tiny girl have stayed back at the vase? Krisha would look for her there, correct?
"No." She said, shaking her small blue head. "If she wants to find me, she'll know where to look." She should have been there. She hadn't been though, so she could not fault her for wandering. After all, wasn't it better if she expanded her horizons a bit? It was a big world. She should be allowed to see at least a little after being stuck in that vase for so long.
"Vampire Sylas Magicu - Water Control!" Kira jumped, a small yelp escaping her throat as she heard the yelled exclamation. Pull it together She thought to herself. She had known they're would be others, but hadn't expected to run into them so soon.
Cautiously, she made her way towards the sounds. At the moment, all she could really make out was a large amount of splashing. Was she near a beach?
As she stuck her head out of the foliage, she realized that she was right in assuming that. It was a beautiful beach, all white sand and blue water. It wasn't what drew her attention though. There was another second here, about her size. He didn't look to dangerous. Infact, he looked rather happy.
Pushing aside the plants around her, the girl stepped out,her scarf moving in the slight breeze. "'Ello!" She called over, just as the other boy was begging to stand up.

Sylas jumped up, his staff began to be flung around when he heard another voice. He looked around to where it was coming from. Then he saw her. A girl, his size this time. Not any bigger than him, if anything, since she was a girl, she was tinier. He smiled, for he was in a good mood at this time. "Why, hello there! How are you doing today?" he said, slowly creeping closer towards her.
Sylas had never seen anyone of his size or age. He thought that he was just tinier than everyone else, but apparently, there were others out there that were just as tiny. He smiled and nodded, still creeping forward. He swung his staff around and hooked it onto his back, like others had done, through the straps on his jacket. That left his arms free for movement. He walked up and held out his hand to shake, tilted his head, and smiled, bearing his vampire teeth.

She almost ran back, slightly startled at both the fact that she had spoken up and that he had replied. "Good." She said, finding her tongue. "And you?" The girl stood still for the moment, watching the other boy as he moved forward. Graceful, yes, almost animalistic in a sense. His eyes were blue though, so he couldn't be bad. In her short life, nothing blue she had seen had ever been bad.
For the first person she had met, she knew she could have done worse. He seemed....happy. She could have easily run into some one bigger, with a bad temper, and then what would she have done? Been squished, most likely. Oh, how much better life would be when she grew.
Shaking herself, mentally of course, out of her thoughts, Kira raised her eyes back to the other boy. She hesitated a bit to give him her hand, slightly wary of his teeth. Another mental nudge made her re-access the sitituation. His teeth were sharp, but so were her ears. Not to mention she had apendages on her back, while he obviously didn't. It didn't make much of a difference in the long run. She hoped.
"Kira Anemoi." She said, smiling as she shook his slightly larger hand. No, for now atleast, she had no reason to be scared.

Sylas smiled, and looked back at Kira with a pleased look upon his face. He took her hand in his and said, "Sylas, Sylas Wilson. I know, my fathers last name is kind of dull, but I feel my first name is rather unique."
He shook Kira's hand a bit and then let go with a bow. He said, "Well, it's very nice to meet you Kira." Part of the main reason why he seemed happier, is because this was the first encounter with a fellow second that was his size. He hoped maybe they could become friends, get to know each other, see what happened. I mean, she was a very pretty second. Why not right?
"So, what brings you to the sea shore?" he asked her, turning around and beginning to walk down towards where he had been earlier.

"It's not dull at all. It's the first I've actually heard besides mine." The small girl chuckled at this. it was true. He was the first second she had met so.... Heh.
Kira nearly jumped when he started to drop, her mind automatically going along the strand of thought of what she would do if something was wrong. Instead though, she was pleasantly surprised. It was slightly odd to her, that she should be blushing slightly at this moment. She was surprised though, and a bit flustered, so maybe it wasn't so odd.
"The feeling is mutual." She was still smiling, and apart from a small red tinge, there was no trace of her surprise to be found, and even that was quickly fading.
Never let anyone else inside your head Krisha had told her that once, while looking into her vase. For now, it was as good a rule as any.
"I heard the water. Where there's a wave there's a wind, no?" It was true enough. Besides the idea of meeting another, the thought of a breeze had been as good an incentive as any.

Sylas blushed a tad when he noticed her red tint. He smiled and went along on his merry way.
When he got down to the water, and when she was talking of the wind and water, he said, "Oh no, that wasn't the wind though. Even though that is true. I was the one creating some of the waves. Watch."
He then looked at her, pulled out his staff, almost as if to show off his skills a bit, and then said, "Vampire Sylas Magicu - Water Control!" and suddenly, he whipped the water into a cyclone a little bit, and pulled it out. Giving him something more to control. He swirled it around him a bit and then created a floating ball of water.
He then decided he'd freeze the water ball. So, he did. Then as it floated there, he grabbed it, and handed it to Kira, smiling. "Here. Take this."

She almost giggled at the fact that he had caught her slight blush, judging by his face. Instead she grinned. So, that hadn't been the wind she had heard. She had wondered...There wasn't a strong enough breeze here to make those sounds.
"So that was really you?" Kira asked, in a slightly amazed voice. How was that possible? Could she learn something that? The girl grinned ear to pointy ear as she watched, wondering how he had managed that. The staff seemed to be important. She'd have to ask Krisha about it, maybe she would know where to go to learn.
She almost audibly gasped when it froze in mid air. Her grin widened as he handed it to her. The cold didn't face her pale fingers. In truth, she didn't seem to feel it strongly at all.
"It's lovely. Thank you." She said happily, as she rolled it around in her hands. It was almost like glass.
"How did you do that though? Do you think it will melt? Who taught you?" Almost as soon as he had frozen the water, the last bit of her wary exterior had melted, revealing the inquisitive nature underneath.

Sylas smiled as he handed off the ice ball. It did start to melt, he wasn't perfect at creating ice yet. "Oh, yes, I did do that haha. And you're welcome. It will melt eventually, just like all ice does. The Goddess Minty taught me how to do that. She gave me this magic spell that I use and wham! I automatically was able to start controlling water."
With that, he blushed a little bit, because she seemed to be pretty amazed by it. He smiled and nodded. Then he put the staff away, back on his back. Then he turned back to the ocean and took a deep breath in. "Ahh...the sea air really does smell good." he said. Then he closed his eyes and took it all in.

"I'll have to see if I can find her, eventually." Magic would defiantly be an interesting skill to have. If one could learn the control of water, couldn't one learn the control of air as well? It would be absolutely perfect!
"Aye, it does." The breeze was starting to pick up, just enough to blow her scarf behind her and ruffle her feathers.
"I wonder..." She thought out loud, "If there's a beach here, I wonder what else there is. Or at the very least, how long the beach goes for...." A mischievous grin took the place of the smile on her face. "Want to go see?"

"Yes, she is a very good teacher. I learned very quickly." he said smiling, and then turning back to the big blue ocean. He thought about her, he glanced over at her and smiled. He liked this girl. She was already different than the first two Seconds he had met. Toshiro judged to much, and Miyu was just a tad bit to gullible. But she seemed a bit different. He didn't know how to explain it, he just thought.
He looked at her. 'She sure is beautiful. She has this...certain...thing about her that makes me feel different. I think she actually makes me happy. I have only just met her, but something about her is different. Oh, we'll just have to see.' he thought, listening to the sound of the breeze in his ears. It was starting to pick up a bit.
When she asked him about what else there is, Sylas turned to her with a smirk. "I think that'd be very fun. Just the two of us? Haha. I like you already. I haven't met many other Seconds. Just you, Miyu, and Toshiro...they were very nice, but, I think you're much kinder than they. Hmmm...anyways, sorry, I'm just thinking aloud. Sure, lets go!" he said starting off.

Miyu? Toshiro? "Are they your friends?" She asked, smiling at the thought that she had made a good first impression. To be thought of as kind was always a good thing. Her sister would be happy.
"Yes lets!" She almost took a running head start, but stopped short, almost tripping. A grin adorned her face again as she realized how silly she must look. "I have a quick question for you, before we go. I was looking for my sister earlier. If we run into her, do you think she can stay with us for a bit? She doesn't know that many people either, and it would be nice to be able to introduce my first friend here to her." That it would be, and she didn't have to worry about her sisters reaction. Krisha would be okay with him, she was sure.
She needed to make sure of one thing first. "We are friends right?"

Sylas smirked and nodded. "Yes, I would say they are...well, for sure, Toshiro is a friend. He umm...well, he was very kind to me. And Miyu, well, she was kind too." He smiled back.
Once she began to run, so did he, they didn't get very far before she was asking him questions. "Oh, sure. That sounds fine with me." he said, nodding still. He agreed, they were friends. He felt something special with her. Of course, he didn't know quite what it was, but something about her was different than the other two Seconds he had met. She was very kind. But in a different way than both Miyu and Toshiro.
"Of course we are. I think that we make a good coup-...make good friends." he said, then he began to blush heavily. He didn't know why that came out. A good couple? What was he thinking? Well, he did think that way, maybe he was just in a very good mood because his blood thirst level was low. He just had had some the day before after all. He didn't think that she knew of his vampirism however. He hoped that wouldn't distress her to much when he finally did get aound to telling her that little detail.

Kira's face lit up a bright red. She knew what he had been about to say. The question was, weather she should act like she had realized it or not.
"Yes, we do make good friends." She said, deciding to leave it for later. If a time came up later on, then she could bring it back up. Then maybe they would talk about it.
A change of subject was necessary now though, to avoid an awkward silence. For lack of a better subject... "Are you alright?" She asked, pretending his blush might be caused by something else. "We can sit down if you like, in the shade if the sun's bothering you." Kira's offer was valid, he was very pale after all.
The small second placed the back of her hand against the boys forehead. "You don't feel like you have a fever. Actually you feel rather cold." That was alot coming from her and her strange temperature preference.

Sylas hoped she hadn't known what he was going to say. And, from the looks of it, she didn't really get it. Well, she began to get red too, so maybe she did hear him. What a fool he was to say something like that. Well, she was changing the subject, luckily, so for now, he would roll on with what she had said, "Oh yes, it must be the sun is hot. I think I might have a sunburn."
When she felt his face, and he had no feverish-feeling. He said, "Oh, well, I must be cold because well...umm...the wind is picking up, so it's a bit blustery. I might be cold because it's blowing all over us. Aren't you cold?" He was nervous. He hoped that the two of them could move on. So he just kept walking. "I promise, I'm fine. I just needed some time to cool off. So, what about you? You seem a bit red in the face." he said, trying to change the subject minimally, then hoping that the two of them could explore more and maybe find Kira's sister.
