It's so different from the computer I have been using (I went from XP to Vista, for one thing; thank goodness that the TekTek toolbar works), but I think I like it.

Although Laptops are useful 'cause they're portable, I find using the touchy pady mouse thingy annoying and I know you can still plug a mouse into it but then you need to be at a desk or something otherwise it's not worth having the mouse.

I'm actually used to the non-mouse way because I was allowed to have my dad's ancient laptop to play games and write stuff on a long time ago. It's not my favorite way, but I don't have a big problem with it. This laptop will be on a desk or a hard suurface most of the time anyway; it only gets about 2 hours of battery life if it isn't plugged into the wall.

Vista's fine if you don't mind all the reminders, which I don't. My laptop, that I'm usually on if I'm on Gaia, only last's 2 hours unpluged. So, I have it on a table and a wireless mouse, I can't play the Sims without it. It's a big 'ol gaming laptop anyway so it's hard to move it too much.

Wow, I didn't know there were laptops dedicated to gaming. surprised I thought they would burn out when you play too many games too often.

I don't really have a problem with Vista so far, since it's really easy to add users and add/remove passwords for those users. I was just going to be upset if the TekTek Toolbar didn't work, since a lot of Vista users were complaining that it wasn't working.

I'm buying myself an Alienware laptop. 3nodding
Laptops can be great for games depending on what you intend on playing.

Yup, a laptop can have all the top of the line graphics cards and plenty of RAM without having to buy a entire desktop.

I have a couple of PC games that I used to play. I even played the Harry Potter Quidditch game. xd I also had a Midnight Club game, along with having The Sims with an expansion pack or two. Oh, and Final Fantasy VII, but I had to give up on it about halfway through because I ran out of patches to fix problems that the game has when you play it on a PC with anything higher than Windows 98. Good thing that I got a PS2 not too long after so I could start the game over on that.
