 Lyssa bounded along, tumbling through the tumbleweeds, and slipping through the stream. A happy little thing, she paid no mind to the fact that she had just deliberately disobeyed instructions NOT to run off, and was blissfully unaffected by the knowledge that she would be punished upon her return home. It just didn't occur to her to be worried or anxious. What was the point in that? You couldn't have any fun if you were too busy being nervous.
So, she frolicked along, sniffing flowers and enjoying life. And why not? It was a beautiful day. She couldn't be expected not to enjoy such a lovely breeze, meandering through the tall grass, not to bask under the warm sun, surrounded by clouds, white as snow and fluffy as cotton candy. No, to expect her to sit mindlessly back home in the teepee was foolhardy. Surely her mother would understand why she left.

She kept on and kept on til it glided over the hill~ thinking she had room under.. she jumped off the hill.. Thankfully, it was a small one-
"Am.. I flying?" She said softly- still looking up with anticipation~ then..her legs started to pad like if she were walking on air- then. They hit the ground- and NOT on her hooves! She knees, then the crashing of her head and the curling in to a ball as she rolled down the hill, thrashing then ending at the end. "Gauhh.." She whinned softly. blankly staring.. then. Followed by a burst of laughter.. "Hehehehe!" She giggled and laughed softly.. the bird spun around over her head then flew away.
She watched it- ... as it glided through the air.. Wishing.. one day.. Then the oblivious frilly heard steps. Trotting? She looked around, then got up quickly and started bouncing up and down. Tripping and falling again. " Hehehe.." Nothing got her down for good- laughing~ was the best medicine.
