Eidel stretched and stood, finally tiring of reading. She left the book on the ground where she was as she went to explore. She soon came upon a small ravine, the edges dangerously steep. She peered down the 30 feet or so to the bottom. She tilted her head to the side and squinted her eyes. Were those berry bushes she saw down there? Her tummy growled instantly. "Hmm..." She then decided she would climb down. She placed one paw on a root that jutted out and grabbed on to a rock with a front paw. She carefully climbed down a few feet before she suddenly felt a rock beneath her shift and tumble down below. "Ahh!" she let out a small scream as panic seized her. She clung frantically to the rock in her front paw, trying her best to hold on.
(way to start an rp all dramatic, Sela)

(Geez...good going. Gosh. XD)
Lovell stood at the bottom of the ravine, not doing anything in particular, but just walking around. He was bobbing his head up and down, singing a tune to himself. The radio in his head was silenced for a moment when he heard a faint scream. He furrowed his brow and looked around. He didn't see anything, but soon a few crumbles of rock fell on his head from above. He immediately looked up to see a female dangling from the top. His eyes widened and he stared for a moment, trying to asses the situation. His first thought, was that this was obviously a woman in need, and he had to help her. A damsel in distress. He grinned, forgetting the danger at hand. Without another thought he began to climb up the ravine. He was swift but careful, and evidently skilled at climbing. He reached her within a few moments and held a paw out to her. "Grab on! I'll pull you up!"

Eidel sent a frantic glance in the direction of the voice. She quickly took the extended paw without even thinking. She closed her eyes, as she put her life into his paws.

(Aaaand he drops her. rofl Jk jk!!)
Lovell took her paws and pulled her safely back to the ledge. Once he was sure she was stable he let go of her with one paw and placed it bellow her chin. Pulling her face slightly towards his he asked her, "Are you alright?"

Eidel was slightly dazed. She looked into his eyes, but wasn't really seeing him. She realized she wasn't breathing when she began to feel dizzy. "Yes," she breathed.

He kept one paw around her to steady her, she still seemed a little shaky. He pulled her gently away from the edge and looked into her eyes again. A moment of recognition washed over him, but it was brief. He ignored it and went back to making sure she was ok. "Are you sure? Maybe you should sit down..."
(They met once before right? That's what the recognition thing was about.)

Eidel was tempted to look over the edge to see where she had just been, but decided against it. Her legs would probably fail her and let her fall to her death. She let herself guided away from the edge. She felt grateful he had saved her, and yet embarrassed at the same time. "I'm fine," she said quickly as she looked away. She did as he suggested, though, and sat down in front of him.
(yep.. they have, She stroked his antlers XD She'll remember him as soon as she's herself again. Who could forget those!)

Lovell released her from his grasp when she sat down. He figured she couldn't fall sitting down. But then again you never know. However, he didn't want to freak her out or anything by holding onto her unnecessarily. He didn't mind holding on to her though, she was pretty. But that didn't matter right now. He sat down also and waited for her to regain her composure. He was glad that she was ok, and also slightly proud that he had saved her. He smiled at her as he waited.
(Yeah I remember, she told him that they were sexy. I'm sure he'll remember her for that. lol XD)

Eidel suddenly looked upset. "I'm sorry," she said with a frown. She felt like a pouting child, embarrassed because they'd messed up and gotten hurt. She still refused to meet his gaze.

(lol)
Eidel let out a huff. "Being troublesome...I could have-" she then looked up at him, and realized she recognized him. She tried desperately to remember his name. She stood suddenly, and wobbled again, feeling dizzy for no apparent reason.

He steadied her with his paw, looking into her eyes again, this time recognition burning even brighter. He could almost see it reflected back in her eyes. She was so beautiful, how could he forget her name? Then it hit him. He smiled at her more widely now. "Eidel," He said, lightly leaning her back towards the ground for her to sit down again.

She held on to him as he tried to sit her down. She couldn't seem to let him go. "Yes...?" she almost seemed to question. She couldn't take her gaze from his. "Lovell..." she breathed.

He was glad she remembered his name. He let out a sigh of content relief, still not removing his gaze from hers either. "Yes, that's right. You remember. I guess that means you're ok then."

Eidel nodded slightly, remembering what had just happened. "I'm not hurt at all," she assured. "Sorry for worrying you or causing you trouble or whatever. ...but I have to admit, I'm kind of glad that I slipped now." She grinned, hoping he would either ask her why or understand what she was getting at.
