Alexis planted her hands on her hips, pouting over the clipboard at their realtor. They'd been at this all day, why didn't he just show them the right one already? It wasn't like it was that hard, there was a whole city full of houses. "None of them are right," she whined, staring out the car window, "Errol can't you just make him bring us to the right one?" She was grumpy, she had a right to be. It was hot and this was boring.

Errol, a bit more patient than his wife, wasn't too happy himself. He glanced over the houses, none of them were right and he didn't like that. He wanted something great for the family, and he wanted to get it done quickly. The wolf knew his wife wasn't the best at sticking with a discision and he wanted some pups running around.

"It's not my fault he's lousy at his job." Errol grumbled darkly as he glared over at the very harried man. He groweled a little making him look a little nervous. He wasn't having a good day ether. The woman was whiny and the man a bully but they were paying customers so he would help the Swift family.

"Well...maybe the next place will be okay." he said slowly, trying to not loose his temper. He didn't like the faults of the house being treated as if they were personal failings.

"Does it have a yard?" Errol demanded.

"Yes." he said shortly, as he took a deep breath as they drove into the small drive way. "This is a one level, three bedroom, two bath with a small kitchen and formal dinning room." He started as he got out.

Alexis was for the most part, disinterested. She didn't quite understand why their tiny apartment wasn't big enough for a family. It was good enough for them now, and babies weren't that big. But Errol was probably right, he usually was. Annoying. She huffed and rolled her eyes as she got out of the car, running her hands over one of her ears. "It's pretty," she admitted, almost as if she had lost a battle, "Is there candy in the kitchen?" She wandered toward one of the trees near the back fence, propping herself up on a low branch strangely easily for someone of her size. "Because you know," she bargained, "I'd like it a whole lot more if there was candy."

Suddenly the realtor wished he had Charlie's Chocolate Factory on his list, so long as she'd just agree to everything. The man at least had a bit more sense but he also was easily swayed by his wife. Once he was sure that he almsot had the wolf agree to a place when the girl complained about...oh god he couldn't even remember right now. He wished he had some asprin.

"No houses have candy in the kitchen unless you buy it for the kitchen." he said shortly as he walked up to the door, pulling it open. "A pretty front yard though, perfect for kids. Good neighborhood too, not to much traffic or anything."

Errol snifted the air as his hands rested in his pockets before he turned around, looking around the pretty and plain front lawn. He liked his lawns a bit more wild, which was good because Alexis wasn't much of a lawn person and he got tired from work quite easily but it wouldn't take long for the lawn to get wilder.

"I can get you candy Honey." Errol promised as he turned to try to picture Alexis inviting him into the home. He smirked slowly at that thought.

"Oh good," she said, not the least bit sarcastic as she hopped down from the tree, "Our kids won't get hit by cars honey! Isn't that great?" Alexis had no thought that this could be mistaken for something bad, so blissfully she wandered into the house ahead of them, pulling open and closed doors just for the sake of seeing what was behind them. "The closets are huge, we could play Hide and Seek every night!" she shouted from somewhere inside, mistaking an awkward bedroom game for the childhood equivalent.

The realtor blushed a little as he glanced at Errol but the wolf just grinned darkly at the idea. He loved playing all sorts of games with his wife and he was just primal enough to not be embaressed of it. He walked in and looked around, his ears going back a little at the scent of the place but it was nice enough.

"It be fun honey, I'm sure the kids will enjoy it once they come along." Errol said with a smile. It was a nice little place for pups and the walls were a fine color. That's good, he wouldn't want to deal with Alexis trying to pick paint colors.

Even the wolf could get headaches.

Alexis had an odd ability to hide in small spaces, and for a moment she seemed to disappear completely. "Errol," she whispered from seemingly nowhere, "Bet you and your dumb nose can't find me." It was an old game, but that didn't make it any less fun. They needed something to brighten up the dull day. "I'll give you a hint, you can't fit in here."

As the realtor groaned Errol grinned darkly. There was nothing more he liked more than a hunt. He snifted the air closely as the realtor rubbed his forehead.

"We don't really have time for this." he mentioned weakly but Errol let out a dark growl. He wanted to find his wife, he didn't like loosing this game. He snifted quietly, moving to the closet first since she was there last.

"Tighter!" she teased, giggling at the realtor's protest. He obviously didn't understand the game for what it was. Well, neither did she, but Errol liked it and it always made him awfully cuddly. Maybe it would even make him want to go home for the night. Or just sign the dumb papers already.

The realtor blushed deeper, unable to believe what they were doing. "You really should look around the house, see if you want it."

"One moment." Errol snifted, eyes narrowed as he looked around all the tight spots in the room, he got closer to a bookshelf, snifting darkly as he peered into the darkness.

"Think more foody," she cooed, blatantly ignoring the realtor, "You're going to have to work for it." He was just being obnoxious, stupid even. He wanted them to buy a house didn't he? Well then he had best hush and let them experience the house like they wanted to. It wasn't like they were doing anything wrong, just leading up to other things later.

Errol's grin became more ferral as he crouched down a little. He loved this little game, it was so cute and fun. Besides nothing got him going quite like a hunt. He snifted slowly to the kitchen, snifting around the fridge but disregarding it.

Alexis was a little ditzy but she wasn't too rude. He glanced down at the cubroads, snifting at them, could she possible be in there? He couldn't fit in there and she definately could.

"Go for the gold baby," she giggled, no longer concealing her location. It was a little uncomfortable afterall, no matter how small she was. She could get out herself, sure, but it was always nice to be pulled out. Showed he cared, in his own special way.

His ears and nose lead him straight to the cuboard that got her. He let out a sexy little growl before he reached in and pulled her out into his arms. He let out a laugh before he clamp down on her ear and nibbled softly.

"Got you." he muttered around it as he spun around a bit. Now completely not in the mood to look at anymore houses. He got his cuddly wife in his arms. "Do you like this house Alexis?" he asked.

"I love it, love it love it love it," Alexis chimed, flashing a smile to the irritated realtor. She mrred happily at the nibbling, pinning her ears down against her back, "It feels like a good house for babies." And her, you know, it wasn't a crime to appreciate colorful toys and soft carpets. And warm arms, she reminded herself, snuggling into Errol's chest.
