Broken tar and faded yellow lines make up the “street” that runs down the exact center of the battle field. On either side of the road, sidewalks with pieces of concrete here and there are broken off while “building walls”, set with windows of sugar glass and rotating doors are placed on one side of the street. On the other is a broken down building with barred window and a boarded up door. Faint traces of grim and much cover the walls of both “buildings” while trash cans and trash bags decorate the street; some are torn open with their contents spilled out while others are not. A sewer grate nearby continually pours a stream of fog into the air while, on the corner near a crossroad, a phone booth is seen. The phone, hanging off the hook, makes a continuous busy signal. Dying and dead bushes line the building sides while occasional breezes blow the dead leaves onto the sidewalks and road.!

"Ewww, garbage!!" Sunnie shrieked as she walked into the field. She found the ruined site of the stadium quite interesting, but the smell could certainly be changed. "Unnh... at least my last bout in this field was successful... just hope Glace can do well here," she said to herself as she flung a pokeball off of her belt out into the air.

Glace landed on the field, and sniffed the air. "Heyy... this food doesn't smell good..." he said with a cringe. He looked over at his opposing pokemon, an eevee. "Heyyy, you look like me when I was younger! Well I didn't quite have spots, except for on my face, which is a really weird spot, oh and both my eyes are blue I think, I mean I really only see myself in reflections and I don't see reflections so much, and also I'm not an eevee anymore, I evolved, not sure how or when or why but I did, and then..."

Sunnie smacked her hand against her forehead. "Ohjeez, I think he's off on a tangent again..."

Kayla and Quin were a little surprised at the Glaceon, who started chattering away like it was nothing. Of course, Kayla couldn't understand any of it but Quin started to look annoyed. His tail was swaying in quick sessions, flickering back and forth in aggitation as he sat down and looked the other way to ignore the yapping glaceon.

It caught them both unaware when Quintrell was sent rolling after a direct tackle attack. "Quin!" Kayla shouted in alarm but there was nothing to worry about. The eevee got up onto his feet and glaring at Glace as if saying, 'You're dead.'

"Let's counter it with Swagger!"

Quintrell started strutting around, flickering his tail as he obnoxiously walked around as he owned the place. Quin started kicking up dirt and rocks at Glace with his back feet. They both hoped that this would send Glace into a fit of rage or confuse him enough for a time to do some real damage.

Glace's aim was completely off target as he ran into a large pile of cement from a fallen building. The impact, sent more cement to fall down on top of him. Forunately, they weren't too big to cause fatal damage but still some damage nonetheless.

Quintrell felt that it was well deserved to shut the chatterbox up a bit but he also knew that the glaceon would probably snap out of the confusion and they would be back where they began, in trouble.

"Awesome work, Quin! Let's use Quick Attack!"

Quintrell charged at the pile of rubble where Glace was currently at. He hopes to catch him before the glaceon manages to get out.

Quin was smirking as his attack basically became a double whammy for Glace. If this continued, he was sure that he could win but it doesn't do anyone any good to be cocky. When the other trainer announced Glace's next move, Kayla quickly followed it with her own for Quin.

"Dodge it, Quin and then use Iron Tail!"

Quin stood his ground as if he was preparing for the hit. When Glace got close, he attempted to dodge but didn't move fast enouh and rolled into a pile of garbage. "Ewww!" Kayla exclaimed, whicj Quin had the same thoughts exactly as he got out.

Angry, Quin leaped out of the pile, hating the foul smell that was now on his coat and charged at Glace with a silvery, metalic iron tail. When it gets close, he plans to jump up high and flip before slamming it into Glace....hard.

"Eeek Glace, look out!!" Sunnie cried.

It was too late - before Glace knew what was going on, Quin's iron tail slammed into his back. He cried out in pain as he was smashed into the ground, cracking the concrete.

"Oh no, Glace!!" What to do, what to do? The eevee had a lead upon her glaceon, and it wasn't looking good. Crap. The only way out of it would be to freeze the pants off of it. "Alright, Glace, Ice Fang!!"

Glace smiled at his trainer, his shining blue teeth shimmering in the dim lighting of the city. With a happy bark, he ran up to Quintrell, ready to latch onto his tail.
