Tima crouched down in the grass, her knees to her chest, her head tilted skyward and the sun making a painfully bright reflection in her green eyes. It didn't seem to occur her that everything from her position to staring at her apparent object of interest would be downright painful to anyone else. In her hands she clutched a small red box, that every once in a while gave out a gurgly, crackly sound. Her mind was completely at ease, and not a thing in the world was bothering her.

Binx was running, as was his usual pasttime, when he saw a girl crouched on the ground. He ran closer, trying to see what she was doing, before he stopped in front of her. "Hello." He said as he smiled at her.

((I went ahead and put her pic up too. ^^))
Tima blinked and looked up at the namir blocking her sun. She sat down flat with her legs sticking out, still clutching her small red box. NOt the least bit troubled, though a little surprised, she smiled at Binx. "Hello." She noticed the bells around Binx's neck and looked at them with interest.

Binx smiled, "I'm Binx." He thought introducing himself was the best thing to do when meeting someone new. He noticed her looking at his bells, "They jingle alot, I can never sneak up on anybody."

Tima spoke his name slowly, as though seeing how it would sound coming out of her mouth. "Binx..." She looked from the bells to his face. "Tima. That's what my name is." She reached out and touched one of the bells, marvelling at how the sunlingt glinted off of them and how they made such a delightful tinkling sound, a sound that she hadn't heard before. A puzzled look appeared on her face, and she looked at Binx. "Do you like to sneak up on people?"

"Tima, that's a nice name" Binx said as he sat down beside her. Binx laughed a small delighted laugh, "No, not really, but if I wanted too I couldn't." The only ones he would do that too would be his siblings. "My Dad has bells too."

"Oh." Tima looked down at her small red box and ran a finger along it's top, causing it to give off a few quiet buzzes. SHe looked over at Binx and cocked her head. "Your......Dad?"

Binx heard the buzzing and stared at the box, what was in it? He then got distracted by her question. "Yeah, my Dad, Rudolph, has bells too. He has antlers and a red nose as well." He was kind of glad he didn't inherit the red nose.

Tima poked her tongue out of one side of her mouth and pondered, then it came to her. "Oh.....you mean your father!" She looked down for a second, then back up. "I'm sorry; I don't remember some words as well as others." She giggled at the thought of a red nose. "Did he have colds a lot?"

"Yeah, my Father. That's ok." He said to her not knowing all words. "No, actually, it glows." Binx smiled and chuckled with her. "It's quite bright too."

Tima's eyes opened wide. "Glows? You mean.....like a light bulb? Wooooow......." She leaned closer to Binx until she was right next to his ear. "Is he a........a robot?" She whispered the last word with a strange mixture of awe and apprehension.

"Hmm...well I don't think so." Binx smiled and then chuckled, "Although I think he's pretty robotic in the mornings." He wasn't fond of morings...but then that could have come from him staying out late on certain nights.

"Oh." She reached up and scratched her head, wondering how one part of the day affected how one acts. She hadn't seen such a thing yet, but she had witnessed what certain namrah and their presence did to others. She looked down at her red box and gave it a stroke with her fingers, causing it to emit a short melodious tune.

Binx's attention went back to the little red box, "Ok, I have to ask...what is in that box?" He stared at it as it made a tune. His curiosity had gotten the better of him finally.

Tima looked surprised as her gaze traveled down to the red box. "This?" She held it up, and it became obvious at once that it was a small antique-looking radio. It's small antenna was bent almost double, and the knob was twisted at an obviously broken position. She held it up in an angle where one could see the spot where the batteries went, but the cover was missing and no batteries were inside. She smiled at Binx. "Look." She clasped the radio firmly with both hands and slowly shook it up and down. At first all that was to be heard was the clatter of loose parts, then suddenly the box began playing Ray Charles. I can't stop loooooovin' you..... I've made up my miiiiind....
