ARGH! just plain out screams and such! all I want to do, is be in the casino, do slots, and get my ace of spades. I enjoy making my own room: 13 Black Cats.
well, just now I made that and had two random people enter and they were okay for a while. they asked for ages and I stated mine, 21. this other girl claims 9 and another claims one million or something of the sort and later states she's 19. anyway, after that, I started to be harassed for my age. The 19 year old would go between trying to calm down the 9 year old and harassing me. the 9 year old states she's glad she's not an old fart like me. (bad spelling and grammar was in her statement) I stated that I'd rather be 21 than 9 again, which is true because I really didn't like my elementary school years. she gets upset and leave.. here's just what happened next:

I know how upsetting it is. I am 22, so I am also considered old around here. But think about it, The girl was 9 years old probably still wetting her bed after a bad dream, what the hell does she know?

Well, then I'm really to old, I'll be 30 on October 24th.
I usualy just ignore people when they yell at me for being to old.
My poor mom, if they knew she was on they would be very shocked.
She is in her 50's.

I like it with older people here. I have a hard time tolerating pre-teens who think they know everything.

I'm probably considered old myself since I'm 20, I'll be 21 in November.

Yeah I just ignore the little... excuse me... bastards. Stupid little snots that don't know anything about anything. I'm 31, and I'm in the Geezer Guild. biggrin Yes there is one, but I post here more often... if you can believe that. I haven't gotten a reaction like that ever. Usually I just chat casually and take em down with simple non offensive logic that gets the other people in the room laughing at them with me. And if they persis I make a screen cap and report 'em.

BTW... not sure how true this is, but I hear Lanzer's 31 too. blaugh

Most likely true for the simple fact that he has the money are resorces to create Gaia. I don't think any teen would be able to afford something like this.

more to the point can you imagine what a teen run site would be like??(slits throat)

i can't believe how rude some young kids are, wonder if they back chat their parents the way they do the older people on here, i wish there was a seperate Gaia juniors.

this is why i always opt for single player, went for multi player once, had a steady stream of freaks coming in, never again!

I get the same thing all the time, which is why I very rarely post my age (24) unless it's in an adult 18+ or some similar room. Though many youngsters like to come in and make trouble there quite often anyway. Fortunately for me, I have never got it as bad as you did KamikazeFinn and I am sorry you had to go through that. I often get it pretty good for being "too old" but really, you're only as old as you feel. I love Gaia, cartoons, video games, WWE, and anime and I don't care what people say about what I like. But unlike the kiddies I know how and when to behave and act like an adult.

What you went through though, I think, reflects more on their parents and how they were raised. Anyone in my family would have gotten a good tanning on their backside for that kind of behavior. We were raised to respect everyone but especially our elders. When passing by someone younger we still excuse ourselves and show respect.

This was awful and again I'm sorry you went through that but don't take it against yourself. Just shrug them off and hope someday they will learn some manners. Let's at least be thankful that we have somewhere like here to go to and find relief from the chaos that is 18 and younger. 3nodding

Actually I think you can still report them, since you have the whole conversation saved. Plus I believe you have to be at least 13 to be on Gaia and she admitted to being 9 so you might even get her kicked of. * evil grin *

I know the feeling. I'm 20, and everyone keeps telling me to stop playing kiddie games. I mean, just because I'm 20 doesn't mean I don't wanna have a little fun. You should report them for flaming you.
