so i recently hit 70 on my warrior, and i'm kind of going for the arms dps category. my question is, when i get a new weapon (which i desperately need) should i go for the 2h axe because of the orc bonus or the 2h sword because of the chance of extra attack?
its a lot of honor to spend on that axe/sword so i want to make sure i have the right choice

If you're PvPing, always use maces.
If you're PvEing, always use Fury for dps. If you're insistent on staying Arms, axes is usually the best choice, especially if you're Orc.

Unless you have to be a crazy min-maxer like Max suggest, Karn has the right answer.
I prefer Swords, so I go with Swords. Besides, extra attacks rock.
Go with what you like better.

Mace is always gewt because of the awesome mace stun. But the 5% extra attack (?) won't have much of a big proc chance, will it? Axe is teh smex.

It's all situational.
Think of it this way. Axe and Sword spec are both 5% chance for double damage. Crit is a stat you have already, so the axe spec will just increase that whereas the extra sword attack is it's own thing. 5% isn't much, no, but it goes off well enough for extra burst every now and then.
Normal attack: 1x damage.
Crit/Extra Attack: 2x damage.
Crit + Extra Attack: 3x damage.
Crit + Extra Crit: 4x damage.
While it's much rarer to get the final two obviously than either of the first, they do happen, but only with the sword spec.
Like I said, unless you really feel the need to be the absolute best cookie cutter you can be, go with what you think is best/most fun/whateverstrongestweaponyouhaveatthetimeis.

sword and mace spec warriors are really gay.
MACE STUN EFFECT -> CYCLONE -> FERAL CHARGE
OK BLIZZ THXXXXXX
SWORD SPEC PROC -> WINDFURY -> CAN'T DO THAT WHILE DEAD.

Sword or Mace
Don't use axes you should have enough crit as it is you may as well get the extra swing or mace stun.
