Time to Randomize the field!
Forest Field
Thick trees sprout at random places throughout the field, some small while others seem to reach out and touch the ceiling of the stadium. As with ancient trees, some roots are seen being thrust above the ground which makes easy for a pokemon to trip if they do not watch where they are going. Spacing between the trunks vary, making passage difficult for those on the ground and in the air. The ground is littered with piles of pine needles, leaves, and sticks of all sizes; several tree trunks and rotting logs can be found scattered around as well.

Nyght shook a little less this time as she stepped onto the battle field. She had a little experience, and she had won her last battle, which was a great way to start a training career. She knew that this one would be harder, and that she was still borrowing pokemon instead of battling with her own, but everyone had to start somewhere right? There was only a little sweat on her palms as she reassured herself that she had the Raichu's pokeball on her belt. As the large screen above the field showed the di roll, Nyght gulped in suspense.
At least the field choice was a more comfortable one this time. As large trees sprouted and grew rapidly on the battlefield, Nyght smiled. It was a setting she would choose to be in at any time of the day. Her only worry was the fact that seeing what was going on would be rather difficult for the trainers. Oh well, every field had its pros and cons. One pro was that Raichu was an agile pokemon that should have no trouble dodging around tree limbs and roots. As that thought crossed her mind, Nyght realized she should release ChuChu so that she could have a look at the field. Nyght detached the pokeball from its place on her belt.
"All right ChuChu, let's do this! Raichu!" A red beam shot towards the ground and the figure of a pokemon was quickly visible. As the Raichu solidified, Nyght smiled weakly, mostly trying to comfort her nerves. ChuChu turned and looked towards her as she stood there, obviously ready for the battle, but also a bit concerned about having such an obviously new trainer. "Chu..."
"Hey yourself..." Nyght muttered and smiled once more at the mouse pokemon. "I hope you don't mind battling against your trainer." Almost in answer the Raichu shook her head and turned to look across the field, seemly happy with the field choice.

"GEOOOOOOOOO!"
The shrill battle cry of the pidgeot pierced through the stadium as a large pidgeot appeared overhead the tall trees with his trainer on his back.
"Let's do this then Prince!" Luna said, jumping off Prince and landing on her trainer platform. Unfortunately, it was a LOOOONG fall. "Owwww..." She said to herself, nursing her legs that now felt like jelly. She really should have asked Prince to drop her lower.
The pidgeot, on the other hand, flew to a fairly high tree branch and perched there. He wasn't very satisfied with the trees that made it difficult for him to navigate this field. Prince knew he was at a disadvantage, but he refused to let that stop him from winning.

Nyght nodded triumphantly to herself, she would get to start off this battle. In tight battles that could be the difference between a win and loss, and every bit of luck helped Nyght as a new trainer. Hopefully the forest field would help as well.
As soon as ChuChu saw that she would be going first, she started inching farther into the forest field. She just wanted to get started, but this new trainer seemed to be taking a while to tell her what move to start out with. Her tail flicked from side to side, the lightning bolt shape causing it to bounce against itself. "Chu..." She muttered to herself, looking back at the trainer expectantly.
Nyght shook herself out of her thoughts and realized that since she was going first, she needed to actually go first. She ran a hand through her black hair, twitching her bangs from side to side to give herself time to think. She decided that going with a standard electric move would be the best way to start off the battle, especially since the types of the two pokemon played to her advantage.
"All right ChuChu, use your Thunderbolt!" Nyght shouted towards the anxious Raichu. Nyght couldn't help but pace slightly, shifting her weight from foot to foot in her anxiety. What would it be like when it was her own pokemon in harm's way?
ChuChu jumped on the command and immediately began gathering electricity into her body. Sparks started to fly from her cheeks and she raced through the trees towards the Pidgeot, normally her teammate. There wasn't a second thought about who she was facing though, it was just another opportunity for her to show Luna how good she was. As ChuChu neared Prince, she leaped into the air, jumping from tree to tree so that she was at the Pidgeot's level. Just as it seemed like her cheeks would explode from the surges of power in them, she made one last leap and flicked her tail violently at Prince, a streaming bolt of hot electricity blasting from the tip.

"Prince! Go down to the ground and use Mudslap!" Luna retaliated. Although she hadn't practiced mudslap with Prince much (she really needed to), it would be perfect in this match against ChuChu. If the electric type pokemon was going to unleash super effective moves on them, she would whip it back with equally effective moves!
"Ge!"
Prince divebombed towards the ground, managing to miss most of the electricty. However, he did feel a slight tingly sensation on his wing and it spasmed a bit as he reache dthe ground. That wasn't too good. As soon as his talon hit the dirt of the field, the pidgeot kicked a fistful of mud at ChuChu's face. He held nothing back. Although they were teammates, they were also rivals and he had no fear of hurting his companion. If she couldn't survive, she was weak.

Nyght cheered at ChuChu as the electricity connected with the bird pokemon, "Nice job ChuChu! That was awesome!" Nyght caught her breath, however, when the pidgeot retailiated with a ground move, being more effective on ChuChu.... Well it was only expected that Luna would fight fire with fire, so to speak.
As the mud flew towards the raichu, ChuChu tried to dodge under it, but instead got a face full of mud. Sparks flew from her cheeks in her anger at getting mud in her face. Using her paws to hurriedly wipe it off so that she could see, ChuChu dodged around the pidgeot, avoiding any further attack and preparing for her next.
"All right, keep it going! Paralyze that bird with Thundershock!" Nyght jumped up in her excitement for the ensuing battle.
ChuChu was just excited, but held it in a bit better. Gathering electricity once more and channeling her anger into it, the raichu dodged through the trees, jumped and slammed her body into the ground, causing electric shocks to build through the earth and zap out towards the bird pokemon, looking quite strangely like lightning in reverse.

Fighting her own electric type with Prince really sucked, ChuChu was armed with super effective moves and it sucked. "Prince, watch out!" Luna shouted, even though it was greatly unneeded. Prince definately noticed the sparks of electricity his teammate was giving off.
The pidgeot knew the electric attack was coming towards him and started to take off into the air, but was a bit too late when a small electric current zapped his leg and spread throughout his body. He fell ungracefully onto the dirt again. Darn, now he would have to clean his feathers all over again. Oh the joy of battling.
Luna winced. She knew Prince hated getting his feathers messy during a battle. It irked him greatly when he had to go through preening and coating them all over again.

ChuChu watched smugly as the electricity made contact, paralyzing the bird pokemon. Look who wasn't so tough now! Running back to her starting position ChuChu watched to see if the pidgeot would even be able to attack to her, and it didn't look like it.
Nyght had been watching for a similar thing, and as Prince fell to the ground, she realized that it was her turn again then. She didn't know is ChuChu was getting bored with electric attacks, but Nyght wanted to mix it up a bit, while still using their advantages. "All right ChuChu, use Rollout!"
ChuChu nodded. No electricity this time, but she would have a perfect shot at the currently immobilized pidgeot.
"Chu!" And with that ChuChu took off towards the bird pokemon, gaining speed and suddenly curling herself into a ball, but still rolling at a remarkable pace. She had aimed herself at the pidgeot, the goal being to throw her bullet like body at the bird pokemon.

Luna stared intensely at her pidgeot, willing the bird pokemon to get up. "Come-on Prince, get up and do another mudslap to slow her down before she hits y-" Apparently, her command was a bit long winded and ChuChu hit Prince squarely in the chest. Prince was knocked back and rolled over several feet.
"...ouch." The trainer said, sighing a little. Poor Prince. "Well, you can still try to use the mudslap?"
Prince peaked open one eye after the collision. Darn, his body was aching already? Giving a small "Geee..." of annoyance as he regained control of his body and stood upright on his two talons again, the pidgeot started flying towards ChuChu. While flying horizontally to the ground (he had cleared the path with his earlier collision), Prince stuck his talon in the dirt to fling mud at ChuChu's face. [750/1200]

Nyght's eyes lit up as ChuChu not only hit Prince, but right in the chest. The hit caused ChuChu to barrel right over the poor bird pokemon, and it was only after ChuChu was several feet away from the point of collision that she was able to uncurl herself. At that point she was a little dizzy, but nothing a good shake of the head didn't fix. Unfortunately, that was right when Prince was flicking mud at her, and so it got in the pokemon's large ears as well. The mud was annoying certainly, but it also screwed up her vision and scratched at her skin in the spots it got past her fur. Once again using her paws to wipe it out of her eyes, ChuChu winced as more scratches were caused by the gritty dirt.
Nyght sighed at the mud attack, knowing that that would hamper ChuChu's ability to spark her cheeks, but she seemed to be doing pretty well otherwise. Since the last attack had worked so well, Nyght shouted to ChuChu, "That's all right girl, just wipe it off, hit him with another Rollout!"
At the command, ChuChu nodded and narrowed her now red eyes. They were stinging, but she didn't need to keep them open for much longer during her rollout. Sprinting towards the bird pokemon once more, ChuChu knew that this time she would have to launch herself into the air, so just as she neared Prince, she leaped into the air, rolled and aimed.

The pidgeot gave a particularly strong windstroke to raise up in the air and send a stream of powerful wind at the rolling ChuChu which most likely caused the raichu to slow down a bit before impact, preventing a direct hit. Unfortunately, the momentum of ChuChu's attack still broke through his wind and nicked his talons before gravity took affect.
Luna frowned at the sight of her pokemon taking a good amount of damage, even though they avoided a second direct hit, the supereffectiveness of the rollout attack still took a chunk out of Prince's HP. "Alright, let's try to drag out this battle Prince, use curse!" This was perhaps the most ideal time to use their stat-up move with Prince at a fair distance away from ChuChu and the raichu still curled up in a ball and unable to use her long range electric attacks in time to stop Prince.
"Ge!"
A eerie red light glowed around and engulfed Prince. A surge of power filled his body and gave him the endurance to handle at least a few more rounds of attacks from his teammate.

As ChuChu unrolled from the ball she had attacked with, she stretched her paws up, the landing hadn't been as smooth as she would have liked. She still had plenty of health left, but her body was starting to get a bit sore. Turning back to look at her teammate, Chu was happy that she had made contact with the bird pokemon.
Nyght cheered, clapping her hands happily. It had been a difficult move, aiming Chu at Prince in the air, but it had worked. She stopped her clapping fairly quickly, though, as the red glow caught her eye. Nyght's grey eyes watched as the curse move engulfed the bird, and new that getting damage on him would be more difficult from now on. "Well, Chu, we're just going to have to try doubly hard then I guess...."
The raichu looked momentarily at Nyght, nodding firmly before watching the rest of the protective move surround the bird pokemon. "Chu...." The raichu sounded more determined than ever though, so Nyght wasn't worried. "Let's try paralyzing that bird a little longer this time! Use Thunderpunch and make it stick!"
ChuChu nodded, determined to hit more effectively on this attack. The mouse pokemon ball her small fist, and her cheeks started sparking. Concentrating carefully, the sparks from her cheeks starting transferring to her fist, and a ball of sparking electricity surrounded it. Darting towards the pidgeot, ChuChu cried out, "Raaaaiiii-chuuuuu!" She then leaped up towards the bird, her fist extended, energy clashes against energy, yellow against red.

Prince reacted as soon as he caught sight of his teammate's sparks of electricity. He didn't enjoy electricity, not only did it paralyze his limbs, it usually caused him to fall flat on his face in the mud. The pidgeot's speed was not fast enough, ChuChu barely managed to connect her fist to his right talon. Prince let out a "Piiige!" of frustration. He had let the electricity hit him and not only that, it was already starting to creep up his limbs to paralyze him.
For the first time in the whole battle, Luna was actually glad it was Prince out there instead of her other pokemon. Out of all her pokemon (minus Chirper), Prince was the only one who could do a certain special move. With a slight grin, Luna announced her next move. "Refresh!"
"Gee!" Prince replied, eyes flaring with anger and determination. The pidgeot glowed white this time as the electricity around him started to disperse and fade.
