Threads Of Fate
Released: 2000
Story: Based on which character you choose it's just slightly different.
When you start the game up you have a choice of Mint or Rue. The quests and story are very similar its only that you see the other characters point of view in the game.
His story is more serious and more into the story than mints. If you want a serious story which is full of mystery its best to choose him. Unlike Mint's story his is more like a 'novel' and thought through story meanwhile Mint was more of a 'fun' and happy side. Mint's story is more full of comedy and fun to play though. To see more of the 'story' see "Characters" below.
Characters:
Rue: Rue is serious, gentle, kind, honest, hard-working, caring, humble, brave....ect. You're sweet kind of guy. However he's not human but a organic doll that was create by a man named Valen to serve him. Since he was created to serve Valen he's very powerful.
Years ago he was put to sleep until he woke up one day inside a temple. Claire found him and took him into her care. Over time he grew close to her but all his happiness came to an end when Doll Master appeared. Doll Master is another Doll like Rue who was also created by Valen. Doll Master hoped to have Rue join him in resurrecting Valen. Rue attack him and covered Claire. He merged their souls and then took his Arc Edge (his weapon) and went on an adventure to resurrect her back to life starting in Carona. This is how he meet Mint.
Mint: The heroine of the game shes a Princess (next in line for the crown) and the comic relief character in the game. Next in thrown of East Heaven Kingdom she is aggressive, manipulative, violent, un-mannered. The opposite of a real princess. When suddenly her sister visits her and tells her the news that her right to the thrown was given to her little sister Maya. Maya accepts the thrown and plans to make her sister's life miserable. Attempting to use her magic on her sister Mint fails as Maya proves her magic is stronger.
Upset by this she runs away (or is banished?) from home and begins her journey for a more powerful relic than her sisters and become ruler of the world. She then crosses paths with Rue who is also searching for a relic. She wields two chakrams full of magic and is powerful. She also has a powerful jump kick. However she is deathly afraid of pumpkins.
She doesn't like Rue for some reason (he is her opposite) and tries to attack him numerous times but fails and changes it to a "comic twist".
OH! One part was when he bent over to get something and she tried to tackle him but went flying into the water. However in the end she cares for Rue and her sister Maya.
Gameplay: RPG and action. Its so fun! You can defeat enemies and each character has diffrent ability. While Mint uses powerful magic (cool really) Rue can abosorb and change into monsters.
The RPG town is nice to wonder around in as well. And you meet cool other characters along the way.
Battle Mode: You fight with enemies. They're already on the field and you can run around and kick/slash/use magic.
Audio: Not bad!! I give it a fairly good rating. Listening to it now after so long reminds me of how good the music was. ^_^" They were unique and used a simular theme but with slight changes.

This game had a great story in my opinion and the gameplay and graphics. The audio and characters were all great. The story mode on Mint was my fav!! I love the part where the bad guy dressed as a star and...well I'll play it and get the screen shots to show you all. ^_^
It's a must play!
