 Jaden had just finished the rounds with Great Prince, his alpha, and he decided to explore the edge of the woods bordering his territory. The weather was nice, after all, and he was sure he would learn the territory quicker if he travelled across it. And, who knew? Perhaps something important would happen today.

 Lunar had been in the woods trying to stay cool. She had no idea that a pack resided nearby since she was a drifter. Her silver eyes closed, as she plopped herself onto the cool shaded ground and sighed a little. Sometimes it got lonely.

He stiffened as he noticed a strange wolf. He'd never seen her before and he trotted over with his fur raised, trying to look threatening. She wasn't really in the territory but she was too close for his liking. "Who are you?" he asked, when he was close enough.

Lunar looked up at the white and red younger male. Her silver eyes slipped over his form. Her ears twitched to the sound of his voice and she sighed a little looking up at him. "Lost your manners have you?" She raised her head to him, She laughed a little at his raised fur. "I'm just resting in the shade. I had no idea there was a pack in the area."

He was a bit irked by her comment but relaxed a bit. At least she didn't seem to have bad intentions. "Mind if I rest with you a little?" he asked, he was tired from the rounds today.

She looked at him, he trusted her awfully fast, but then again she wasn't any kind of a threat. She shrugged and moved over some. "Feel free too." Her ears twitched a little. "What pack is it?" She asked him, looking off in the direction he had come from.

"Thanks" he said, laying near her. "The pack is called Royal Protectors. So far, we're only made up of the alpha, Great Prince, his son, Bambi and his friend Faline, and me. I probably shouldn't tell you this much but -- no offense-- you don't really look very threatening, although I can tell you're high in rank. Betas are only under the Alpha, right?"

"The Royal Protectors?" She blinked at him and laughed a little. "Ah, I've never belong to a pack before, I'm just drifting around minding my own business." She nodded at him, her tail flicking against the ground. "So is there something that you protect? Seeing as your name..."

"Hmm, I believe the name originated from the Great Prince's desire to protect the forest and its inhabitants." he said. He'd never really thought about it before and his tail swayed thoughfully.

Lunar nodded some. "ooh I see. She pondered the idea a little and laughed some. She was one that looked out for herself only. She had never had to worry about caring for others before and the idea of that seemed far fetched to her. She looked over at him, the more she looked at him the more she noticed how stunning he was actually was.

As his tail swayed, he accidentally brushed agaisnt Lunar's tail. "S-sorry" he stuttered, looking away. He had never really been around another female before and when he shot a quick glance at her while removing his tail, he noticed her fur and realized that what he first thought was a smoke-colored pelt actually was similar to the sky on a clear night. He blushed when he thought that because he always loved to watch the skies at night and she reminded him of it.

( No idea... the stage they grow to, is based on their RP as a teen. and I really only RPed her with fnow/Thanatos. *picky* >.> )
Lunar blinked at him when he did, and she noticed how abashed he got, so she taught to tease him a little, and she curls her tail around his some. "I'm Lunar by the way." She looked back over at him, as he had turned to look at her. "It's nice to meet you."

His tail twitched a bit when she first curled it around his but then he relaxed again and unconsciously curled his tail around her's, too. "I'm Jaden," he said, nervously turning his head to look back at her, "It's nice to meet you, too."

( No idea XD I want her to follow Thanatos, if thats possible. I have to talk to snow about it. )
She could feel the heat of the day, she as glad she had found her shade when she did. She glanced at him, before she sniffed at a plant that was next to her. "I'm not to sure how this whole... friend thing works, since I move around alot. So I never needed them." She assume that when they parted ways from the shade, she;d probably never see him again...
