We all have something in the Kingdom Hearts universe that just annoys the crap out of us...Well, now we have an official place to rant about it! xp So, you're encouraged to share your thoughts, but please, make sure to follow the ToS, and try to keep any and all debates friendly. As a general rule, violence=bad. XD;

I know one of the things that drives me completely insane is Riku/Yuffie (commonly referred to as Yuriku) fanfics on fanfiction.net. For one thing, the two of them haven't even met, so I really have no idea where the idea of them falling in love is coming from.
Besides, do you really think Yuffie is Riku's type? I for one don't think he could handle her personality. While he's calm, and collected, she's loud, obnoxious, and somewhat needy. I know some people say that opposites attract, but this is one couple I really can't see lasting very long...
Lol, what confuses me even more, though, is that the pairing is continuing to gain fans, and the number of Riku/Yuffie fanfics I see is rapidly increasing. *sigh* I really don't know what people are thinking when they come up with stuff like this...>>
Anyone have any thoughts to share?

People make pairings like this because they weren't paying attention to the game. Riku's personality is often the most twisted in fanfiction. And unfortunately, Yuffie can be paired with anyone because she had zero prospects in either FFVII or KH. But I agree, no matter how it's written that's a bad pairing.

Aerith... My hatred of the character itself aside, why the hell did they call here Aerith? Her name is Aeris! It's like they wanted to make it so ya had to use one of those supposedly cute, but ultimately retarded lisps to say her name now.

Actually, I read somewhere that her original Japanese name was Aerith, and that it was changed to Aeris for the North American version of the game. I could be mistaken, though...Please correct me if I am... sweatdrop
@Vincent: *shudders* Ooh, that's another one that drives me insane...If I come across another CutterEmoGreenDayGoth!Riku characterization fic, I swear I'm gonna stab someone... stare

The princess's. I mean, I have no problem with them, but... They were barely doing anything! I mean, sure, their role was important- but they could've been statues for all we know! Well...Yes.... sweatdrop

XD I'm so tempted to turn that into a 'Reasons-Why-I-hate-Kairi' rant, but I think we've all seen more than enough of those. It's just accepted that her character was completely pointless and annoying... ninja

How about hyper fangirls who put that extra 'k' in 'Riku'? Whenever I see that, I'm like, "*blink* Since when is that really hyper, annoying, Al Bhed chick from FFX and FFX-2 in Kingdom Hearts? o_O"

I don't think I've ever seen that before either..of course, most of my friends could be called fangirls and they would skin anyone alive if they dared called Riku, Rikku.
Actually..that's what annoys me about Kingdom Hearts, all the squealing, hyper fan-girls who barely play the game, never pay attention to the actual story or anything, then act like they /own/ Riku and Sora rights.

Urgh that annoys me so much. If you're going to say that, you better at least have played the game more then once...or play it obsessivly for an entire month touching neither food nor homework like I did. O_o

Lol, what's amazingly fun, though, is completely destroying repeat KH threads in the Gaming Discussion forum.
XD I actually went into a pro-Sora/Kairi thread and started giving small 'I hate Kairi rants', but the fiasco only lasted a couple pages before they decided they'd had enough of me and my Riku/Sora preaching... sweatdrop
