well im new also and i play the piano, luv playing fur elise and cannon in d. SAdly in australia we dont haev band camp and things like guard.( i dont even know what guard is lol) neutral

I love piano!!! I've been playing for about 7 years. It's an awesome instrument, you have so many registers. You can have an entire orchestra on one instrument! smile

I play. I taught myself to play "To Zanarkand" from the Final Fantasy X Piano collections book. It's hard, I only managed to get all the way through today, and I've had it for three weeks.

Ohhh!!! I play the piano~ I've been playing for... 8 years now I believe? Yupp, eight. Actually, learning to play the piano seems to inspire people to hate metronomes. At least, my friend and I do because of piano sweatdrop

I play the piano,
but I haven't had any formal lessons (yet)
Hope to have them soon
(though I highly doubt this would happen)
So far I just borrow a couple of music sheets
and do my best with them.

I play the piano as well, and i sing in choir.
Singing is my passion, ive been doing it ever since elementary school.
Ive only been playing the piano for about 1 year now, i take piano classes in my school, my second year of school of taking it, only a 1 semister class **wish it was more**
I think im good at it, i mean i know im not the best, so i guess id be in the ^average^ catagory. But anyway... i love it, and my favorite piece is
"Moonlight Sonata" by Beethoven.

I play piano and I love it biggrin I have recently learned to play The Office theme song so I am really happy because I love that show smile I am currently working on Linus and Lucy, Mozart Sonata No.16, and Under the Sea from the little mermaid. I can't wait till I can play them biggrin

Well, I have only been playing piano for about.....a week but I already learned 2 songs, joy to the world nd power rock(a mix of we will rock you nd another one bites the dust). I just started cuz I'm switching over from flute my best friends been teaching me cuz shes been playing it for MANY years but I wanna b able to learn the NEWER songs that we play for band b4 the school year ends but all the songs are EXTREMLLY hard! Anyone have any tips?

been playing piano for 10 years. trust me it gets alot harder than joy to the world lol ever heard count basie?
tips? play one hand at a time. start slow, then speed up. then after you can to them seperately perfectly up to speed, try putting them together slowly, then speed up. its the best way to do it, even though it takes a while.
