So, I just bought an Epiphone SG today; I'm excited...but I have a crappy amp! (It came in a starter pack along w/my old guitar). Anyways, what is an affordable and overall good amp if I want to play post-hardcore music? Im looking into the Line 6 Spider III 15W...tell me what you think!

The Spider's as crappy as your current, just more stuff that's crappy. What's your budget? There's nothing in the price range of the Spider that's really worth getting. Are you in a band/gigging? If you are, REALLY save up for a Roland Cube 60 or maybe a Peavey Valveking. If you just want an amp to replace your current amp and only play in your bedroom, then this will suffice.

Well, I spent all my money on the guitar, but I would say my budget is like..200 dollars at the most. Thanks, Ill check it out!

Definitely, those Roland Cube's are awesome amps, get the 60 watt if you're gigging and thirty watt if it's just bedroom practice, you can get a lot of sounds from them and I don't think they cost more than $200, if they do, it's not by much I don't think.

I would go with the Peavey Valveking, I think it is about the cheapest amp with tubes in it. Anything Solid state won't be that much better than what you have now.

Actually, define "post-hardcore" music. What bands?
Might be able to manage a 5 watt tube and an OD pedal.
