connor name connor dietrich. gender male. date of birth may 12. horoscope taurus.
class 1B. strong subjects english, languages.
likes reading sometimes, sleeping in and staying up late, movies, preferably comedies, mind games and psychological tricks.
dislikes his parents' public displays of affection or just being embarrassed at all, early mornings, putting effort into things he could care less about, losing or breaking his glasses.
personality if he had to say so himself, connor would say he is a relatively levelheaded person that he can handle himself well in the company of others, or most others, and can take care of himself in different types of social situations. try as you might to see it this way, let's face it, people. he’s an a**. sometimes he tries not to show it, but he is.
taking care of himself is code for barely refraining from telling that one really annoying guy off only because he doesn’t want to get beat up – he might be a rude, inconsiderate jerk every once in a while, but he’s not a complete idiot. handling himself well in front of others means ignoring them and staying his own course. it’s something he’s always done, but he's usually compliant to what his parents want even if it conflicts with what he wants. usually.
it's not to say he doesn't care about his parents wants, of course he does, it's just that connor likes to do things at his own speed. if something really needs to be done, he’ll do it at the last minute, more than likely halfass it and be completely content with getting whatever he gets. that's just how he is. he manages to get away with it every time, too, so why mess with a good thing? he's a bit of a slacker and only actually tries if it's something that he deems important.
history connor is the only child and eventual heir to his parents’ company, which he has expressed no reluctance or compliance to, though he’s told them countless times he’s not exactly a business person, unlike them, but keeps in mind opportunities when he sees them. despite this, he wants to pursue something to do with management. it seems a tad hypocritical.
he was born to his far too eccentric parents in russia somewhere, probably on some sort of trip or business venture, and, even though he spent a fair amount of his childhood there, he still can’t speak more than a few words of the language coherently though speaks some other languages just fine. he was primarily taken care of by his mother in russia while his father handled business issues.
even though he was still relatively young, his mother got rather restless not being able to do anything for the family trade – she's a very hands on type of person, you see – and later on connor had to be entrusted to close members of the family, notably either his grandparents or aunt and uncle.
a little more recently, since he's become older and all, his parents have become convinced that they neglected connor too much in the past and make efforts to spend more time with him. it gets really, really annoying, he finds. "it's to avoid any of that teenage angst thing, since that's very popular nowadays, isn't it," they insisted. of course, now that he's enrolled at ouran, the doting has significantly decreased, though he can be assured he'll get a lot of letters or e-mails whenever they can't personally stop by.

name kreszant saint. class 1B. standing neutral. connor's opinion either my best friend or my nemesis; couldn't be bothered to figure it out at the moment, but, as much as i hate to say it, i've gotten used to him. doesn't necessarily mean i like him, i'm just able to tolerate his presence, despite what it might look like from the outside. really. he has his good points, but he can be extremely stupid sometimes.

prompt of victory prompt number chosen 4. prompt reply
When Connor woke up that morning, he had expected a sort of big bonanza with confetti or something. Not for any specific reason, it just seemed like something his parents would do to start their weekend off, and he was accustomed to strange happenings around their home. In spite of his prediction, that was not the case, or so from what he could see through his hazed eyes — or eye; his hair was kind of in the way right now and he was even more blinded from the rays of sun spilling into his room.
To express his joy, he let free a string of something that was supposed to be words, but ended up sounding like gibberish if nothing else.
He reached his way towards the dresser, fumbling around with hopes of finding his glasses, hopefully without knocking them onto the floor, again, and stepping on them, for the second time that month, in a fruitless search. Praising whatever deity or force, he didn’t really know or care which one it was, he was successful. With much effort, as sad as it was, he managed to prop himself into a sitting position, taking another bleary, but more clarified, look at his surroundings.
“Probably downstairs or somethin’,” he muttered, crawling out of bed, tripping, actually, before regaining his balance and cursing his lack of morning grace and stupid, slippery floorboards; they could’ve just gotten carpet but, no, they had to go and fawn over their shiny floors.
Making his way downstairs, Connor noticed that the usually chatter of the house was gone; thinking back, he was pretty sure his parents had said they were going to take a break today from all their business affairs and that they’d told the housekeepers to take the day off.
What he didn’t get was why he didn’t hear his parents laughing and talking and doing all that stuff he was used to that still got kind of annoying no matter what.
“Hey, Mom? Dad?” He called, peeking around the corner of the dining room wall, but no one was in sight. Instead, what he had managed see was note was an obscene, fluorescent pink note (his mother’s handiwork, no doubt) that pretty much blindsided him from its position on the wall.
Hell, he could practically hear his mother’s voice chirping, “Connor, sorry, an emergency came up! You’ll be able to take care of yourself, I know,” which was all well and good, showing her concern, or lack thereof, but he couldn’t help himself from wanting to glare a hole through the heart drawn at the end of the note. This whole situation was just mocking him and if he could blow things up by just looking at them, he would do so to that horrible sheet of paper.
But he settled for shredding it into millions of pieces and watching the flakes fall to the floor, creating his own little, wonderful parade, before falling out on the nearest couch, swearing he was going to do something when they came back.
And it wouldn’t be pleasant.
