Paris slowly forced an eye open. He peered around his cave, noticing a stream of light shining through a crack. He groaned, knowing he wouldn't be able to go back to sleep. He lazily got up and stretched. Today would be a very exhausting day, he could tell already. He walked to the opening of his cave and peered off the high ledge to the valley below. Then he leaped off the cliff and went soaring through the sky, scouting for breakfast.

Zsinor ran her paw over her tail as she brushed it. She sat in the space behind some bush, where she had come to call home. She yawned as she finished brushing, and stood up, pausing to stretch before heading out to look for some berries or something to eat.

Paris scanned the ground, spotting a few animals that would make a delightful meal. However, he didn't stop. Oddly enough, he wasn't in the mood for meat. "What's wrong with me?" he asked himself as he continued flying.
Without realizing or ever intending to come that way, Paris suddenly found himself in the familiar area that he had met one Zsinor a while earlier. He felt a strange feeling in his gut. What it was, he couldn't be sure, for he had never felt it. But the thoughts that accompanied it told him it must be guilt. He had left her suddenly and completely alone. But he couldn't have stayed; he knew that well.

Zsinor disappeared into some bushes, returning back out of it with a small mouthfull of razzberries. She was mildly entertaied by the feeling of the juice slipping down her cheeks and dripping off her chin, but her face didn't show it. Her ears jolted as she smelt familier scent, and looked up to see a familiar sight of Paris flying.

Paris suddenly stopped in mid-air and let himself drop out of the sky. He fell close to the earth, then caught himself before he hit the ground. He softly landed a few feet from Zsinor and stared at her, unsure if she would be mad. He bowed in greeting and waited.

Zsinor watched in awe as Paris landed, her face remaining emotionless though. She blinked, before bowign in return. "Hello...." she said in her soft an whispery voice as she raised her head.

Paris smiled, relieved that Zsinor didn't appear to be angry. Although...she seemed to always remain calm.
"Hello, Zsinor," he purred, " How have you been?"

"Good...." she said as she reached into the bush next to her and pulled out some berries. She ate a few, and held her paw out to offer the rest to Paris. "You...?"

Paris eyed the substance contained in her paw questioningly. So as not to be rude, he took a few. "What is it?" He had never eaten anything from shrubbery before. He continued staring at the strange food, wondering if this was normal food for other Namrah.

"Berries..." Zsinor said before eating the few left on her paw. She was happy as she ate them, but her face showed nothing.

Paris watched her face as she ate them She didn't act as if they were all that great. He sniffed the berries in his paw. "And you enjoy these?" he asked as he brought one to his mouth.

Zsinor nodded as she placed her paw on the ground. "Yes..." she said, her emotionless face continuing to remain unbroken.

Paris closed his eyes and forced the berry into his mouth. He bit down, allowing the juices to fill his mouth with their flavor. "Hmm..." He opened his eyes as he chewed it a bit then swallowed. "Not to bad," he smiled. "Not quite what I'm used to, but I can see why you like them."

"That's good..." she said before looking at him with her two colored eyes. She remained silent as she stared, waiting for him to either strike a conversation or suggest something they might do together.

Paris found himself staring into her eyes without even realizing it. He quickly averted his gaze to the skies. "So... would you like to go somewhere?
