P2P is an acronym for Peer-to-Peer. Which, in this case, means things like Limewire and BitTorrents. You know, where you're connected to a bunch of guys downloading the same thing, and can download pieces off each other? Wikipedia Explanation

Is Limewire illegal? XD All my friends use it. So, I hope it's okay to use. Hm...I've never used BitTorrents before.
But, hm... Wow. XD That graphic is so true though. Piracy's against the law, isn't it? But, is P2P basically Piracy or not ? XD Well, I'm all for stopping Global Warming...but I don't want to disobey the law. Then again, the 'right thing' beats the 'law' as I read a lot. xD;; Hm... I am not really sure about this one. It's opinionated, I guess.
Do you use P2P? Do you agree with the graphic?

P2P clients like BitTorrent, Limewire, and all of that is all based on what you use it for. They're tools, right?
I agree with the graphic, which is why I shared it...well...minus the "It's what Jesus would do" bit. I don't think Jesus know's what Global Warming is, let alone know what Computers, Networks, Downloading, Uploading, and all of that lingo.

Yeah. XD I don't like getting too deep in the whole religious thing.
So you use Limewire, Bittorrent, etc. ? Is it illegal though? Because if it is, I should let my friends know. XD They told me it's okay, because it's a big company or something.

hahahah! I can't believe I didn't see this one!
[Granted I don't scroll down the page much, but still,]
Yes, limewire is mostly illegal, but most people don't bat an eye at it. There's a legal version... somewhere.
Oh well, I buy legally off iTunes.
Funny story: My friend had Limewire on his computer and it crashed, and some guy came and fixed it, and he was freaking because he thought he was going to get in trouble for limewire, and the guy goes, 'Yeah, that stuffs awesome, but the newer version is better.' And they go into this big long discussion. [He actually did get in trouble, when his dad found out]
My point: I guess you just had to be there.

Hehe, funny story. xD Wait - who got in trouble though? The friend or the repair guy?
And, ahh! My friends are illegal? Oh well. XD I usually use iTunes, but sometimes I can't find songs I want there. I have a nice friend who sends me songs that I want, and she has, and I can't find. xD;; But. 0_0 I found out she gets it off limewire. Oh well. XD;; She said her parents checked it over and said it was legal. Oops.
But, I am sure it's fine. As long as you don't try to resell stuff. Because then that's illegal.

There IS an "edit" button, so that when you realize your mistake, you can go back and fix it.
