Mordred swims through the tank leisurely, appearing deep in thought and even frowning slightly as he goes. He is completely oblivious to his somewhat disturbing appearance, used to the glow that outlines him, the dark cloak that is his bloodline's trademark. He pauses at a small precipice, seemingly unaware of the drop below him as he contemplates.

Roxel looked around. He was really nervous being out here alone. He normally had someone with him, his brothers, sisters or his dads. but he was out on his own. He held his Chakrams close to him, though he was not as good as his dad, though he was not sure anyone would be as good as the one who danced with flames.
The male was swimming with his hood up, thankful for his black coloring so that maybe he could slip away and back to water that he was use to before someone happened upon him. though when he saw a glowing shape Roxel froze, he had no idea what it was and more then ever he wished someone else was with him

Mordred sensed the presence behind him, but didn't move, still thinking on his fathers and how different he had turned out from them. Both were dark, sinister beings that wielded magic, whereas he was a generally kind beta, never seeking to harm others...
He sighs, turning finally, slowly so as not to startle the other creature. And Gods know his appearance could be startling. He says nothing at first, simply bows his head in greeting.

Roxel backed up a little and held his Chakram in front of his body. Though it seemed the other was just trying to say hello Roxel took a deep breath trying to calm down. Forgetting that he was holding his chakrams in front of him he waved one of his fins, thus waving on of his Chakrams at the other.
Once realizing what he did he flushed under his hood, glad the other probably could not see his face for it was both a bit scared and now embarrassed. he took another breath and finally calmed down enough to notice that it was another male beta, who was also wearing a cloak... he never knew another to have a cloak, well other then those related to him...
"Um... hi..."

He startles back at the flash of the weapon, almost toppling over the precipice behind him. He rights himself frantically and straightens his cloak, peering through the darkness to the other beta, wondering at the cloak as well.
"He-hello...are...are you related to my father?"
He swims forward a little bit, trying to get a better look at the other beta. He conjurs up a small ball of light to help his vision and sends it up over his head to float about three feet over his head.

Roxel looks at the light and cocks his head, "No... I do not think so... I know all of my family normally not out with out one..." but he looked over the other again, "Though you do have light... my Father controls light"
Roxel wanted to retreat from the light, he was afraid of it the other saw him. but he thought of his sister and her boldness and slowly took off his hood so the other could see him more clear in the light he called forth

He glances up at the orb, then back to the beta, smiling hesitantly, "Oh, um, yeah...my father hates the light, it causes him physical pain. I, um, learned how to use it so I could...I guess, have an advantage."
He pulls back his own hood to reveal the dark wig that is as much a part of his bloodline as the cloak, also revealing the softly glowing markings that cover him, a trait from his other father.
"Oh, um, I'm sorry...my name is Mordred..."

Roxel had never heard of someone hating the light, but then his father was known for his powers of light. and the other just made light when he caught things on fire.... he guessed that counted as light too. "oh, you do not get along with your dad then?" Roxel used his chakram to scratch his shoulder while thinking about this. He loved his whole family and could not think of having an advantage over them... well unless his dads started to feel each other up in public... which they did... a lot...
"I'm Roxel..." he said as he looked over the other. in the light he could tell they had different cloaks, his own having silver zipper and fastening while the other just seemed to be wraped in a fitted blanket. "umm did you know you glow?"

Mordred shakes his head and shrugs a bit. "Um, no, not really...I guess...I don't really get along with either of my fathers. They're both evil and I'm...well...obviously not." He rubs the back of his head and glances around, it probably seems weird to others, him not getting along with either of his fathers. Maybe he shouldn't have said it.
He glances back up, looking at Roxel in surprise. "Yeah...I, uh, got it from my other father...same with the markings on my face. I can turn it off, if you want..."

"oh... I'm sorry?" he really did not know what to say to one not liking their parents, "Well my parents are called evil... but not. Its kinda complicated." which was true. they both were in the evil Organization XIII at least.
Roxel nodded, "Yeah, that is where I got these from" He wiggled his chakram a little, "Though no were near as talented as my pappa. You do not have to turn it off... it is up to you really. just never seen anything like it before..."

He shrugs a bit and gets a light pink tinge to his glowing outline. "I-I'm sorry...I shouldn't have said anything, its...its not your problem."
He shrugs and leaves the glow up, it takes a lot of effort to dampen it after all. "Its kinda...natural. I mean, it doesn't hurt or anything, its just...been there since I was hatched.."

Roxel moved around a bit nervously not really knowing what to say. He was not away from his family much so this was all new to him. he looked at the light source a little then asked lightly, "Is there anything else you can do?"

He nods, tailfins flickering nervously. "I, um...I can do some simple prestidigitation...and I'm working on learning more on controlling light..." He glances around, playing nervously with the sleeves of his robe. "Those...look pretty sharp...don't you ever worry about cutting yourself?"

Roxel nodded a little, "you should talk to my father. he knows light very well. it is his power thing." and Roxas was good at it too.
"hum? this?" he held up a chakram, "oh no. well yes it is sharp but i have had it sense i was an egg. though not as good as my dad I know how to use it and not hurt myself." he thought for a small moment, "I guess it could hurt me as it is sharp, but it has never worried me before"
