It had been another chaotic night. He awoke to find himself too big for his clothes and his tentacles taking full advantage of the fact. It had been embarrassing to say the least as he nearly scarred his mother out of her wits when he timidly knocked on her door to ask for new clothes.
Now ...'older' he felt rather aloof in his new height and body. How could one get a growth spurt over night? He knew it had happened once before but...still. It was though nice to be able to go places without his mother hounding him. but...he was still a bit terrified with meeting people. He had already had to fight off his tentacles from trying to grope his mother..he wasn't looking forward to meeting anyone really.
He hoped the park would be empty, maybe he could swing on the swings. He loved to swing..it was almost like flying. Looking around as he arrived he tried to see if he could spot anyone.

Wynni was held onto the fingertips of Riulve’s right hand while her new older brother held onto the fingertips on Riulve’s left hand. The six-foot-five woman with white hair and icy blue eyes walked in between her two charges with a sort bewildered expression on her face. She could handle the idea of having had a child abandoned at her doorstep but having the other child thrust upon her by some staff member of a lab or whatever was a little much for the werewolf to comprehend fully.
None-the-less she obviously accepted the new addition to her family with some grace after a brief argument and now the trio made their way to the park.
The little girl, named Wynnifred but would go by Wynni, cried a lot and made a lot of fuss over this, that and the other. Riulve’s son, Mana, had small shadows under his eyes from being kept awake late at night because of his sister’s crying outbursts. For the moment the boy didn’t hate or dislike Wynni yet. In fact he was a little indifferent for now. He was understanding for now -- it was scary being in a new place.
The three stopped near the entrance of the playground, near where the swing set was gazing about with curiosity, their eyes only briefly stopping upon the boy nearby for the moment before looking elsewhere.

At the moment the park appeared to be empty. A small smile lighting on his face the boy moved to take one of the swings....only to find he had grown a bit too big for them. He fit well enough on the seat...but his tentacles were too long! They couldn't figure a comfortable position and thus...he was 'too big'. Looking very disappointed he wiggled around a bit more as if hopeing he could make himself hit. It wasn't really working...but it was keeping him distracted enough that he didn't notice anyone else enter the park.

The trio moved further into the park. The small silent boy let go of his mother’s hand and ran off toward the sandbox without a word and Riulve let him go, for he was in hearing range and easily observed from where she stood, and now all that remained was the girl still clasping unto her fingertips.
After a few moments she observed the tentacled boy having issues with the swing, she raised an eyebrow and Wynni just tilted her head, and after a few moments the small tailed girl ended up leading her mother with her to the swings.
“You’re big,” said the small, shy voice, perhaps also insinuating that Adriel is a bit too old to be at the playground.
“That’s not very polite, Wynni...” Riulve said in a light scolding tone.
Wynni had the grace to blush and look apologetic.

Adriel a bit startled to find someone in the park with him looked up suddenly and blushed embaressed at Wynni's comment. For it run true, he was too big, apparantly it was obvious to everyone but himself.
"Uh...y.eah..guess I am." He said with a soft laugh. He then relunctantly slid off the seat of the swing and moved to the side to allow Wynni to get on. She was a strange little girl...with wings..much to the boys envy. But her lower legs were very reptilian which reminded him of Ferox.
"I...'m A..adriel." He introduced himself as he didn't want to appear rude in front of the little girl and her mother.

Wynni quietly moved past Adriel and hopped up on the seat once it was freed. Pale colored eyes stared up at the older boy with curiosity. “Hi Adriel,” she said simply as her reptilian legs dangled off of the ground. For a moment it almost seemed as if she wouldn’t give out her own name until she looked over to Riulve questioningly and she got a nod the small girl spoke, “I’m Wynni, that’s my ... momma.” She pointed over to the tall woman who had, in that moment, decided to wander to a nearby bench and have a seat.
Riulve raised a hand in a wave upon being pointed out, “I’m Riulve, don’t mind me,” there was an almost unnerving watchfulness about the woman as she observed both of her young from what she could see of either of them.
The small girl nodded and then pointed to the sandbox where the small boy wandered off to, “That’s Mana, he’s my brother. He doesn’t talk a lot.” She swung her legs a little bit, “Gimme a push?”

Feeling that moment of panic as the adult moved away he now stood bit frozen in the headlights. He was afraid to go near the little girl. Especially as of late his tentacles had been doing very naughty things around the opposite sex. But they only 'peered' at her curiously but didn't make the usual demand to come closer.
Swallowing he gave a small nod as she asked for the push. Moving around to be behind her he used his hands to give her a gentle push, his tentacles having never played this game before 'watched' as slowly but surely Wynni began too move back and forth. They then added to the pushing, a bit harder than Adriel's soft touch, but they meant well enough by it. And they were much stronger than he was...and could keep this up for hours.
"I...i don't have any siblings." Adriel commented as he felt that his tentacles weren't going to suddenly decide to yank the girl off the swing to molest her. Adriel was a very quiet and polite boy, it was as if he did it to make up for all the bad things his tentacles did.

She gave a small giggle at the gentle push and then made a happy sounding squee as she was pushed a bit higher. It wasn’t the thought or feeling like she was somehow in flight but rather it was the motion and momentum. The motion somehow was a bit comforting for reasons she couldn’t explain.
“Ohh, that’s kind of sad. My brother is nice but he’s kind of weird sometimes, he likes baths and water,” She wrinkled her nose a bit, “not that I don’t, but he likes them a little too much I guess. He gets a little sad when momma makes him get out of the tub.” Wynni chattered happily as she was pushed upon the swing, happy that someone wanted to participate.
Almost as if on compulsion she complemented Adriel, “Your purple -- umm -- thingies are pretty.” She had no name or words to call the extensions by, tentacle had not yet made it into her vocabulary.

Adriel listened politely as he always did, he probably would of liked reading books if it wasn't for a past incident when he was smaller and his appendages decided to yank all the pages out of a library book. He had stayed away from all paper matter since then.
"Hmm ...your brother sounds like he really likes water.." He commented as he continued to push her. He wondered why all of a sudden his tentacles weren't interested in molesting the little girl. Not that he was going to complain about it.....but it still made him paranoid.
When the little girl complimented his tentacles he blushed a bit. Despite being pests they did get a lot of compliments.
"um....tha..thanks." He murmured before he found him staring at Wynni's wings again.
"your wings...are beautiful." he breathed, for he honestly loved them, they were so soft and delicate...

Wynni seemed to have instantly taken a liking to the boy. After all he was pushing her on the swing and he had pretty purple things. What more was there for a little girl to appreciate? Though when he complimented her wings he had instantly made a friend for life.
“Really? I like them too. They are shiny and stuff.” It seemed as if she had no real care to fly though she’d probably attempt to learn to do so if given the option but for now she was content with how they looked and being complimented on them.
The small girl fell silent for a moment before she tilted her head back to stare up at Adriel before he could push her away again, “Want to play a game or something? Do you know any games? I don’t really know a lot of games.”

He wasn't sure what to make of her comment. Shiny in stuff was a new one to him. He would of just said that they were beautiful which he had. He continued to pushed he little girl on the swings, as the silence grew between them he wondered if he had said something wrong.
When she asked about games he in truth didn't know many games...for he rarely played with other children.
"Um....do you know ..ug..tag?" he asked wondering if it was really a good idea to tempt his tentacles into misbehaving.

She blinked at Adriel and shook her head a little, “Never played tag before.” The small girl replied softly as she tilted her head forward to watch the retreating and oncoming movement of the world in front of her. “Would you teach me how to play Adriel?” It was a honest enough question coming from a small innocent girl.
Her brother didn’t play games at all just yet and Riulve wasn’t exactly a wellspring of games herself. The tall woman was unused to young ones for the moment.

Adriel nodded his head despite the fact the girl wouldn't see him do it. He moved to slow the swing down his tentacles helping to slow her down safely. He didn't trust them....why were they behaving so well? Warily he moved around to face her keeping a good distance between him and her just in case.
"Um well how it works is that one person is 'it'. And the one who is 'it' has to chase everyone else and try to 'tag' them. When you get 'tagged' you become 'it'." He explained using his fingers to indicate running back and forth. He wasn't sure how much fun it would be with only two people but at least he could try and fail at catching her or being caught.

She listened attentively now standing where he had let her down at for some reason allowing him his distance that or this was the best place she could stand to watch as his hands moved to illustrate the game for her. After a moment the girl giggled behind her hands and she nodded, “Okay!” She leapt a bit in her excitement causing her wings to cascade a bit behind her as she landed once again. Wynni scuttled up to him and reached up and gave a pat against his forearm.
“You’re it!” She called gleefully as she turned to run.

Adriel had been surprised as the girl caught on quickly how the game worked. Still nervous about his tentacles behaving he followed behind the girl at a casual gait.. He was older...and had longer legs...but he underestimated the sheer energy a toddler could have.
He allowed himself to make 'monster' hands and actually tried to have fun.
"I'm going to geeeeeet yoooooooou." He threatened in a playful tone. HIs tentacles thought this a much more interesting game and raised themselves in a similar manner as his hands, wiggling around trying to look scary even though they really only looked silly.
