I think my best friend is either bi-polar or manic depressive. She can be so happy one moment and the next she is pissed at me over nothing and then she starts crying. I've told her this and she doesn't listen. I've even told her mom I think she needs help and she pretty much ignored me too. Are they all just in denial? How do I help her because she needs something.

I think there's only so much you can do, and if she wants to get help for herself, then it might be something she decides (or her family decides) to do on her own. You could ask her as your friend to look into it, and maybe refer her to your school counsellor if she's too nervous to see a doctor or psychologist.
