((You know how in most of the Pokemon Games you have to deliver something to someone in the beginning? Well, I've decided to keep the cliche alive. Go me)) "But Uncle Sebastian, it's so far away!" Lisa complained. "I'll never make it! What if I get ambushed by a wild Pokemon!?" Lisa was finally used to the surroundings of her new home. She could go into Katarina with out getting lost. Lisa's Uncle now had confidence in her, and had told her to deliver a package to his old friend in Motterossa, across the Pilkiras Plain. Lisa, of course, saw this as insane. The Pilkiras Plain wasn't exactly a small area, and she would have to go around the mountains to get to Motterossa. On top of that, the Plain, she heard, was full of wild Pokemon that ambushed passing travelers. Come noon, Lisa had stopped arguing with her Uncle and gone to walk a bit in Katarina. She figured that, if she had to deliver the package, she would at least see if some trainer would help her. And so, she went around asking people who looked like Pokemon Trainers if they would help her.

(( Hope you don't mind me making a post. O; ))
Singing loudly to her lungs again, Meeka burst out into song. "And though the ways, we will keep shinnnniiiinnniinnngggg through! 'Cause there is no one betta' than me~!" she sang with great enthusiasm. But apparently so, her singing had lead her astray. She had walked from the city, if she remembered, into some unknown area, ended up in another unknown, than got lost. She sighed, today really wasn't her day to begin with. Letting her Stantler out, she wondered if he could help her out with where in all of Zatoa she was.
Ebba took his stance out of the Pokeball and stared at Meeka. He had wondered if he was brought out to taste the ever spicy Tamato Jam Meeka had made the other day, though his thought was obviously wrong. He trotted up to her anyway and sniffed her slightly. She didn't even have a trace of berry jam on her. This is where Ebba slumped. Sitting like a sad Growlithe, he felt like he was out of luck. In his mind, he would of preferred to be back in his Pokeball. As he sat, he let out a low cry. "Stttaaannnnnnnnnnn."
Confused, Meeka stared over her partner. "Ebba? Ebba?" she said as she look right and left at him. She slumped also as she sighed. "This is either a rather new mating call for Ebba, or he has to go take a poop."

Lisa heard singing and decided to follow the sound to its source. She then saw a trainer with a Stantler. "Hey!" she yelled, "Are you perhaps a Pokemon Trainer? If you are, I could really use some help!" Lisa half ran up to Meeka, hoping that this time, she'd get her escort.

Hearing the random call of someone, she turned. Help? Well, Meeka could help. "Well, of course I am a Pokemon Trainer!" she said loud and proud. "Not only a Pokemon Trainer, but the world's-greatest-to-be-in-training Breeder!" Slopping her hand on her still sitting and slumping Stantler, she smiled. "And this here is Ebba! What would you like assistance with?"
Ebba got up immediately at the sign of another person. Getting himself up from his slumping, he trotted over to her and sniffed her lightly. Apparently, he idn't catch the whiff of berry jam either of her. Slumping again, he cried out. "Staaaannnnnn...."

Lisa smiles. "I'm Lisa, and I just moved to Zatao recently. My Uncle wants me to deliver something to his friend in Motterossa, but I don't have any Pokemon, and Motterossa is fairly far away, I hear. Do you think you and Ebba could help me by escorting me to Motterossa?" Lisa bowed a bit. "I would be honored if you did."

Meeka smiled sheepishly and put her thumb to her chest. "Of course I will be honored!" she smiled. She turned back to Ebba and walked up to him giving him a slight pat on the back. "Wouldn't we Ebba?"
But Ebba kept his normal stance of sitting like a sad Growlithe and cried, "Sttttaaannnnnn..."
Meeka just smiled embarrassed and replied, "Um, that is his way of saying Yes...Let's go~!" she said as she turned around and started marching off dragging Ebba by the scarf with her.

Lisa followed Meeka, assuming she knew where she was going. She briefly prodded her back pack, which contained the ever important parcel. Yup, she thought to herself, still there. She adjusted the back pack and continued to follow Meeka and Ebba. "So, hello there, Ebba! You're cute!" Lisa said to the Stantler, just trying to make idle chit chat.

Ebba perked his ears up and looked at Lisa. "Stant?" he said as he titled his head walking. Maybe she was going to give him something. Quickly, he gave her a sloppy lick on the cheek. This surely worked on Meeka when she had jam, maybe it would work on this new person, Lisa.
Meeka marched on, scanning the horizon every once in a while to see the area. She stopped as she looked around. "Where are we...?" she blinked. Obviously, she had gotten lost again.

Lisa patted Ebba on the nose, then heard Meeka and turned to her in shock. "You don't know where we are?!" she gasped. Although Lisa knew this wasn't the way outside the city, she thought Meeka was getting supplies. Now that she knew Meeka was lost, she sighed and mentally scolded herself for not leading the way initially. "I know how to get out of the city from here, Meeka. We can stop by my Uncles's on the way there."

Meeka nodded with a slight tilt of her head. "Okay! Let's go!" she said as she began walking. But she immediately halted as she turned around and looked at Lisa. "Well, um.." I think you should lead the way..." she said in a sheepish grin and patted Ebba.

"Ok!" Lisa smiled as she marched down the streets. It took about half an hour to reach Lisa's uncle's house. "Here we are." Lisa motioned toward the house. "It's not much, but it's nice, and there's a little pond out back. Oh, could you wait out here for a moment?" Lisa ran into the house and got some supplies, food, bottled water, a blanket, and a single pokeball she had bought as a lucky charm. The pokeball was, of course, empty, but she still kept it for good luck. After gathering her supplies, Lisa came out of the house again. "Sorry to keep you waiting, Meeka! Shall we go?"

Meeka nodded with the slight tilt of her head. "Sure, let's get going!" she cheered as she smiled at Lisa. She began to remember the same feeling when she was excited about traveling across the plains. Of course, she had only crossed the plains once due to the factor of her being a scaredy Meowth, but both accounts were without Ebba. Patting Ebba slightly, this would be the first time taking him out and about on the plains with someone else.
Ebba sighed. It really was a long day for him. He had no jam....No berries...No poffin...Nothing! This was not grand at all! Of course, he wanted to go back in his Pokeball. But his dimwitted pig-tailed trainer looked like she wasn't in the mood to even take her back into his ball. He whimpered, it made his stomach hurt. But it wasn't his sadness that caused his stomach to hurt...no....it was...PFFT!...Flatulence.
Holding her nose and moving slightly away, Meeka disgusted. "OH GOODNESS EBBA, WHAT DID YOU EAT?!" she yelled.

Lisa detected an unusual stench wafting from the general direction of Ebba. "Oh... my," she said as she fanned the smell away, "Does Ebba normally have this problem?" Lisa looked at the Stantler and waited for a response.

Meeka shook her head. "Not all the time." she said as she held her nostrils shut. "Only when he eats too much Pecha berries does he get gas like so." Pulling out a paper fan from her back, she whipped it up and down. "This should get rid of the smell!" she said as she waved it a couple more times. Stopping, she placed it back in her back. "You sure do make em' stink don'tcha buddy?" she laughed as she gave Ebba another pat on the head. She slipped him some water to retain his stomach and looked back to Lisa. "So where ya headed?" she asked.
Ebba drank the water up before standing up and shaking himself. As he shook however, his scarf fell loose and onto the floor. Sniffing at it, he called to his trainer to put it back on. "Stant stant." he said as he nosed her hand. But Meeka wouldn't pay attention. "Stant Stant!" she said again. He bit her hand this time, finally get her to see.
"Huh..Wh-OW!" Meeka said as she turned to Ebba. "What is with you, you stup-Oh, your scarf." Meeka entwined the scarf back on Ebba before turning her attention back to Lisa.

Lisa paused as she looked at Meeka and Ebba, trying to stifle a laugh. After regaining her composure, she laid out her plan. "Well, I need to get to Motterossa for a delivery, but I don't think I can cross the mountains, so I was thinking of going around them through the Pilkiras Plain" Lisa rummaged in a side pocket of her back-pack and pulled out a crude map of Zatao that her Uncle had gotten. "See, I was thinking of going north west, then heading north east once we past the mountains." She closed up the map and put it back in her back pack. "Shall we go, then?"
