I went to my friend's house last week to stay for a few hours to work on a costume... and I just got home today. rofl I was only going to stay for a few hours, but I ended up staying for a week. rofl So I'm back now. :3 Oh hey! Thanks. : D My brother is going to help me rig up the lights in the lenses in exchange for me making a plushie for his friend this month. It should be all ready for Connecticon in August. It's $40 for a weekend pass. I forget what the one day ones cost, but they're posted somewhere on the site. Ah neato. We're coming from New York. The hotel is gonna be like a couple hundred. Luckily we'll be splitting the cost depending on however many people I can round up to bring. XD Otakon always ends up costing almost $1000 total, but I don't think we're going to that this year. :[

Nice. You've got quite a knack for clothes, don't you Percival? Great work on that drill! And I like the chest piece/pasta strainer thing!
But man! It's kinda hard to picture charming, adorable Percival imitating such a crazy monster! I'm not sure if I can quite perceive it!

XD I like being the monster sometimes. twisted And I always like full-body costumes 'cause I'm sooooo shy. It's easier to be in character when you know that nobody can see your face. And that way, if I act like a jerk, nobody will know who I am, unless they follow me into the hotel/bathroom/etcetera. rofl

Ahhahaa. First, though, I have to figure out how I'm going to get the suit on and off easily. It's still in pieces, but I'm not sure if things should be connected or detachable for optimal comfort, durability, and quick uhh...escape for bathroom breaks. xd
If it helps, I will be with a person dressed as Edward Scissorhands. surprised She is obsessed. There may also be a Dr. Cube, if my other friend can come, and of course, Veggie, if he is able to attend. 3nodding Veggeh, I forgot to ask you before, but do you think you could come?
Also, I will probably be the only big daddy cosplayer attempting to do the Caramelldansen, if such a dance happens to suddenly break out. rofl
My Edward cosplayer friend and I devised the ultimate test for deciding whether a costume will be comfortable, safe, and durable through con wear. We call it "The Caramelldansen Test". If you can dance to that without your costume falling apart or without hurting yourself or others, then you're all good. Because when you're not going to be in-character, you're going to be having fun acting like a fool, so you need to make sure your costume can hold up to that sort of thing. XD

And I'd be happy to attend! And I think I just might put together my Lincoln costume and go cosplaying! How do you think that would be?
Either that or maybe try something from Fire Emblem. I think I'd pull Kieran off pretty well if I could get some plate armor and make an Axe...
