When I play and my hands start to get sweaty, the pick is harder to hold onto...any tips for that? And just in general, it gets out of position sometimes..should I just be holding it tighter so it can't move, or what?

I don't have the sweating problem but there are little grip things that are almost like little sand paper stickers that you can put on your pick to have a better grip. They're real cheap. If you can find those all your problems should be solved.

I find that certain picks called Jazz III's made by Dunlop help, they're quite small, so that shouldn't be much of a problem, I also use Dunlop's Tortex picks, which also have natural grip, also I find engraving a 'X' on both sides of the pick helps a lot, but you might not want to do that if you like your picks to look good.

You might want to try a wrist band as that would soak up the sweat everytime I used one. Torex picks are really good too, thats what I use now. Haven't had a problem since I started using them actually.

Yeah. Tortex is really good. I haven't dropped my pick in months because those things are great.

What I do when my hands start to get sweaty, is I go into the bathroom and cover my fingers with Mitchum roll-on antiperspirant. I just wait a few minutes then I go back to playing.I figure and other one works but I sue mitchum on my hands.
