Nara Park A large, open park just outside several shrines, it’s built along a cobblestone field, being nearly the center of Kyoto. With plenty of shops for tourists, and wild deer literally wandering the streets it’s a great place to travel through. As well, since the Park has a path to nearly every site in all of Kyoto, people will end up traveling through here often to get from one place to the next.

Kaito was walking along the path as he looked up at the moon as it shown down on their walk. He turned to look at Akari as she still didn't seem to happy "so first off I just want to know, do you love him?" he asked a bold question to start but he wanted to know that answer more than anything. Just asking that question made him clench his other hand as he was scared of her saying yes and shattering his world with one word.

Akari silently walked beside Kaito, staring at the path. He asked the question that seemed to be bothering him the most and she flinched. It was such and obvious answer and she had no idea why he even had to ask. "Of course not." She quietly says. Akari did care for Yuuji and possibly had a small crush on him, but it wasn't love. That was too strong of a word. There weren't many people she actually loved in her life. Her parents, grandparents, and Kaito. That was it.

Kaito accepted her answer as how she really felt as he would follow with a bit more open questions "so is there something else going on with him then?" he asked as he knew she was trying to be nice, but allowing a kiss even small and then the bathroom crying was stuff he hadn't thought would be happening. He turned to face her as he stood with the moonlight shining on both of them "I love you and I just want to make sure that nothing is happening that will cause you to not love me" he said as he looked at the ground. He was a little upset that he was letting his emotions get so jumpy but it wasn't strange that he should be.

Akari's eyes widened at the question, but they didn't look up at Kaito. She actually had no idea how to explain the situation with Yuuji. There was obviously a small mutual attraction between them and the small kiss had excited her. Addressing the second question she takes her wrist and wipes away the tears that were forming in her eyes again. "I could never stop loving you." She said with a quavering voice, taking a deep breath clenches her eyes shut as they walked, trying to stop the tear flow. "We're just friends and maybe I had a moment of weakness." She opens her eyes and dares to look at him, obviously hurting. "It scares me to think that I found the person that I want to be with for the rest of my life so soon." Kaito was everything that she wanted and needed. Yuuji was something that excited her and was bad for her, drawing her to it like a moth to a flame. Akari really did need to stop getting herself into these situations. Looking calm she makes a run for it down the park, losing her sandals in the process. She was a terrible person and didn't deserve Kaito and the tears ran down her cheeks as she continued to run.

Kaito listened as she assured him she would never stop loving him and he felt happy and relieved by it. The fact that she had admitted Yuuji was a friend that she had a moment of weakness was something he felt he would work with her on dealing with as she seemed to be scared as she looked into his eyes. He was caught off guard as she started to run away crying and he didn't know what to do for a few moments before he moved almost like a ghost as he ran with full speed to catch her. He easily caught up with her as he grabbed her hand and pulled her toward him "why did you run from me" he said with tears in his eyes as he looked at her. He wanted to know and he wanted for her to understand that he just wanted to be with her and even if she makes mistakes he doesn't expect perfection.

Akari was running and felt her hand being grabbed, forcing her to stop. He asked why she ran from him and she still had tears in her eyes, wishing she could fully express how bad she felt. He was upset and it pained her. The truth was that was her reaction to most problems she couldn't face--Run. Run and run as fast as you can. Even if she did have feelings for Yuuji she still loved Kaito and so long as Kaito loved her back she wanted to be with him.
Akari leaned forward and her lips touched Kaito's only for a second before she quickly pulled back, but not too quickly. "That's all it was." She said, keeping her voice down. She wanted to fix this but didn't know how. She had never been put in this situation before. Ever. "I ran because I don't know how to fix this..." She says hugging herself. "It really was an accident and I didn't kiss him back." Akari looked into his eyes. "But if that's not good enough for you then I don't know what to say. I put myself at risk just to be with you, nearly being beaten to death just because I cared about you. I've risked so much for you and yet I'm still not good enough." The tears continued to fall down her face. "I would do it all over too. For you." She stares at him, waiting for a response.

She was looking at him as leaned forward and kissed him for a moment as she started to explain herself. She said this was her reaction to a situation that she didn't know how to fix and that she stared deeper into his eyes as she started to use the fact that she had indeed risk a lot to be together and that if he couldn't accept that she would do it again just for his sake. He listened without saying a word as the shade casted by his hats brim covered his eyes before he raised it a bit. His eyes were soft and nearly crying "that was all I needed to hear" he said as he hugged her and their lips met again.

Akari's tears now were more from happiness as she put her hands to the side of his face and kissed him back. Shaking a bit as she was just happy that he didn't seem to be mad at her anymore. Akari actually owed Hades one. If she hadn't been calm she could've made several mistakes during this whole ordeal and the outcome would've been way worse. Her reactions would've been totally different towards Kaito and Yuuji, making the situation harder for them all to deal with. Pulling her face back she rests it on his chest, holding him tightly. "I love you so much." She whispered to him, glad that they had gotten past this bump in the road. It didn't occur to Akari until now that Kaito would be more sensitive to little things like that since this was his first relationship. Not that what she did was right, but he would act differently than she would...well, if Kaito had accidentally kissed some floozy she would've punched that chick into the next continent.

Kaito was happy that she was not as upset as she was earlier and as she kissed him he held her. She rested her head on his chest as she smiled and told him she loved him "I love you too" he said as he kept his hand around her tightly. They were silhouetted by the moonlight as the two were holding each other. His eyes were still red from his crying earlier but he was smiling at least as the kiss was resumed shortly after.

The kiss continued and she kept her body close to him. In the back of her mind she was still worried about them being together still. It was hard and painful to have Kaito mad at her for that and Akari knew she made mistakes--a lot of them. It was almost if she actually had bad luck. It made her stomach twist and turn. Her heart felt like it had literally been squeezed, leaving her feeling emotionally drained. Akari still had some strange feelings towards Yuuji, but she would try and set them aside for Kaito. This whole time she really thought that Kaito would leave her. It opened her eyes to the fact that it was always a possibility and no matter how much she loved him there was the chance that he would leave him, regardless of all they had been through together. The physical pain that Akari had gone through was nothing compared to the emotional one she had gone through just now.

Kaito pulled their lips apart as he stared at her "im sorry for getting so mad" he said as he wanted to apologize about all that had happened. His arms went down to her lower back as he held her "is there anything you want to talk about while were out here?" he asked her as she seemed to have more on her mind than just kissing. The night wind blew as it got a little colder now, he looked around before he handed her his coat and put it around her shoulders "we don't want you to catch a cold" he said.

Kaito pulled back from the kiss and apologized to her for getting mad. It still bothered her that he did and she didn't like him mentioning hitting her, even if it wasn't a threat. His arms moved to her lower back and she put her arms around his shoulders, looking into his eyes. There really wasn't too much to talk about, but she did have a lot on her mind still. It was cold and he put his coat over her shoulders, which were bare because of her strapless dress.
Biting her lip she turns her head to the side, thinking. Looking back at him she asks. "Are you going to allow me to be friends with Yuuji?" Akari asked, feeling pathetic that now she had to ask permission. She felt like she was on thin ice still and one wrong move would send her plummeting, Kaito leaving her. She desperatedly wanted to remain friends with Yuuji, but Kaito seemed to have a problem with it.

Kaito knew that she was still upset but she at least was trying to forgive him it seemed. She looked away for a moment before looking back at him and asked her question and he bit his lip. He knew that Yuuji was bad news all around and he would love to just get rid of him if he could but she seemed to enjoy being friends with him and that was something he would have to get used to. "If that's what you truly want then you can" he said slowly as he knew he didn't want to but to restrict her more might make her upset and he would lose her.

Akari could tell that Kaito didn't sound like he liked the idea of her being friends with Yuuji, but that is what she wanted. She had his permission which was all she needed right now. Yuuji was a good friend and she wanted to be his. From what she could tell Yuuji didn't have many others and now that he wasn't friends with Hades, she wanted to be there for him. She wanted to help him change into a better person.
There were some other things bothering her and she might as well get them off her chest. Taking a deep breath she lets go of him and starts walking back to where she left her shoes, speaking to him at the same time. "...you would never hit me, would you?" She asked the question, getting it off of her chest. She didn't think he would, unless it was a sparring match. What he had said earlier was still on her mind, like he had actually thought about the possibility of hitting her. Hades had hit her enough...she didn't need another person.
