Hay, I need some advice for getting my friend to enjoy the church more. He isn't a member, and I don't really push him, but the fact that he's a guy and i'm a girl is kind of hard for him to be able to come to church. He really enjoys it and believes it alot, but he only has one friend that goes there thats a boy, and he doesn't often go because his mom can't drive. Mutual is over crying and I dont know what to do because I don't want to push him...
What should I do??
PS: He is reading the BoM. mrgreen

Keep inviting him, even if he isn't able to go very often. Be a good example in everything you do. And also, know that the Spirit will testify the truthfullness of the Church to him.
I hope this helps!! biggrin

It sounds like you're already doing great! I'd agree to just keep being an encouraging friend, as well as an example. Maybe suggest to him to see the missionaries? If you think it's too soon, or too much of a push to do that, then I suppose wait a while for him to finish the Book. Good luck!

Be patient with him as well. It can be hard if he is the only member in his family - especially if they don't support him. Keep him in your prayers and make sure your leaders (bishop and YW and YM) know that he is reading the book of mormon and that you are hoping that he will feel comfortable there at the ward and ask for some suggestions from them and keep them in the loop if you feel comfortable doing so. Your parents, seminary leaders, family, and friends can be of great help as well.

If you drive yourself you could offer to also drive the boy that's mom can't. That way your friend and the boy could enjoy going to church. But keep in mind that the fellowshipping is only one part of the church.

Are you guys in a single branch or ward? Maybe invite him to some of the single's activities.
