Sandwiches.
Not hoagies. Not gyros. Not pitas. Not subs.
Cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, meat, and/or condiments, an endless variety of possible combinations, between two slices of ordinary bread.
I feel that sandwiches are undervalued in today's society.
What are your favorite sandwhiches? What do you think is the most important part of a sandwhich?
Do you have any advice for making sammiches that will still be tasty and appealing after many hours in a lunchbox sans refrigeration?
What are some good sandwiches I can make that involve nutella? I love the stuff, but I bought a jar and now I'm at a loss for something to do with it x.x

Fun Sammich Ressy-Pee:
Ingredients: Two slices of lightly toasted Pepperidge Farms Bread American Cheese Single Mayonaise Mustard Creamy Horseradish Sauce
Preperation: spread mustard on one slice, put cheese on top of mustard. Spread a small amount of horseradish very thinly over the other slice of bread, then spread a generous amount of mayonaise over top of that. Put the mayonaise-slice on the mustard/cheese slice. Eat.

Best Sandwich ever:
Bacon, Ranch, Onion, Roast Beef, Swiss, and Black Olive. Honestly any kind of cheese is good on this but I use swiss or anything white because sometimes they dye cheese and Im allergic to yellow food dye.
Second Best: Roastbeef, Ranch, Swiss and Cucumbers.

Sex! at the Disco Two Slices of White Wheat Bread. Two Slices of Sharp Cheddar cheese. One hot and buttery skillet. That, my friends, is the food of the gods. mmm grilled cheese is the s**t yo now i really want one
i had this advisor from a youth center who was in love with sandwiches. he wouldn't stop talking about them if the subject was somehow brought up.
i love turkey sandwhiches with lettuce, cheese and a little bit of mayo on both slices o' honey oat bread
as for the lunchbox situation? i can't help you out there... i had home lunches all throughout my school career (well, up until i stopped eating lunch) and i never found a tasty sammich. i just settled on peanut butter sandwhiches. its not so bad if you have something to drink and the peanut butter is honey nut or something.

Am I like the only person who doesn't really care for sandwiches?
Other than Chick-fil-a's chicken sandwich. I could eat that every day.
But when it comes to packing a lunch for work, I hate it 'cause I dread having to take sandwiches :/

I don't like complicated sandwiches. The more contending textures and tastes, the less likely I am to like something. So my sandwiches are simple.
My favorite consists of two slices of white bread and two slices of Velveeta cheese. I also like peanut butter and butter.
Unfortunately, I can't eat sandwiches very often because I will totally binge on them. crying

Aww.
I don't usually go for stuff that simple. I like to have a yin-yang dualty of ingrediants. Peanut butter with jelly, cheese and mayo with horseradish, etc.
