To My Parents-

{Kaien James Sordeau }
I am called-
Heamaster Sordeau
Seasons Ive Seen-
33
Species-
Human
Mirrored-
User Image
History-
Kaien was raised at Grove Academy as the nephew of the previous headmaster. Groomed for academic success, he reached intellectual maturity long before the rest of his classmates and so graduated five years before the rest of his age group. The rest of his life was spent studying the realms beyond the Gateway and learning about the beings that would potentially threaten the tenuous peace of the Mortal world. Upon the death of his uncle, he took on the role as headmaster of Grove academy and has been acclaimed as the greatest leader the school has ever known. His presence has enticed many new students to join.
Examined-
Kaien is a very private person, preferring to stroll in the gardens or read in his personal library. Though always courteous and considerate of the needs of the students, he is also very strict in his stance about the revelation of information to students about the Gate. He fiercely protects the balance, and is concerned with the well being of the students he protects.
Talents –
Skilled with negotiation and speech, Kaien can be quite charming. He is also skilled in martial arts and prefers to keep himself fit by practicing techniques regularly.

Species-
{Grigori}

History-
{Sebastian came from a large family of prestigious Angels. When as a child he showed prodigious talent at the art of Healing, he was heavily encouraged to pursue it. As a result, he became a highly acclaimed healer – a valuable asset in a long and tiring war. Soon, though, he became tired of the constant demands on his time and the attention he received. He fell in with a crowd of angels known for their adventures in the Mortal world. Eventually, he shared the same fate they did and was banished from heaven for his love of a Mortal woman. Now, determined to regain his place, he works tirelessly to protect the mortal realm at the gate between the Atlanthum and Grove Academy.
Examined-
He was browbeaten during his fall. Love, he thought, was something sacred to all beings, not just mortals. However, he paid his price and now has an almost obsessive passion to return to heaven. Fiercely loyal to the Headmaster, he will allow no derogatory remarks about him in his presence.
Talents –
Sebastian is a gifted Healer and can perform basic water elemental magic.

Yule
Seasons Ive Seen-

Species-

History-
Samyule grew up with his sister Gloria among the nuns in a convent. The sisters took them in after their parents disappeared suspiciously. It was thought that they had simply abandoned the two, but Samyule always had his doubts. Growing up with nuns was hard and though it produced an immaculate and obedient woman, Samyule was always the rebel.

He found his friends among the city kids, sweeping the streets for a new source of fun. As he got older, Gloria took a teaching job at another academy, and Samyule was sent to Grove in order to further expand his education.
Examined-
Friendly and open, Samyule is incorrigibly charming. He is the bane of single girls everywhere, using his smile to entrance them. His outgoing nature makes him extremely reckless. He rushes heedlessly into situations without a single thought of their ramifications in his life later. His approachable nature makes up for his lack of tact and occasional bad manners.

Though he does not practice any organized religion consistantly, he does have Om tattooed on both of his wrists, and the mantra "Om Namah Shivaya" tattooed down his spine.
Talents –
Samyule is quite charming and also a skilled swordsman.

To My Parents-

{Ruth Hayley Becton}
I am called-
{Ruthie, Ruth}
Seasons Ive Seen-
{16}
Species-
{Human}
Mirrored-
{User Image}
History-
{Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, Ruth was exposed to the big city at an early age. She was raised by her father, Michael, and they couldn't be happier. Her father was her best friend and world. However, when she turned 7, he was killed in a car accident while heading to work, and Ruth was sent to live with her aunt and uncle in San Fransisco, who were her last living relatives. They had two children, Katie and Daniel, and with Ruth being the soft one, she was picked on alot. Her aunt and uncle did little to stop it, and for nearly her whole life since her fathers death, she was ignored and looked down upon no matter where she went. Her only refuges were the vast sea of literature she surrounded herself in, and dance classes she paid for herself. She learned to take care of herself, and when she heard of Grove, new doors opened up. She felt as if her life could really go somewhere, and sent in her application before Christmas.}
Examined-
{Ruth's first impulse in a large crowd is to try and remain unnoticed. She is a very shy girl, quiet and unassuming. She has an uncommonly kind streak, but her shy nature prevents her from really opening up to anyone enough so they see that side of her. A gentle sort, Ruth would be mortified if she hurt anyone, physically or otherwise, and this trait had made her easily manipulatible in the past, as has her view of trying to see the best in everyone.}
Talents –
{A bookish sort, Ruth has stored up a massive amount of knowledge in her head. She is an incredibly smart girl, above and beyond the norm for her age. Also, she has considerable artistic talent in the way of writing, preferring poetry over most. In addition, Ruth is very agile from her dance classes, and fast, her small size adding to her considerable speed.}

History-
{Born to rich parents and raised in fancy flat in London, one would expect Danielle to be a perfect little daughter, and a spoiled brat. Even though her parents spoiled her, she still retains her inner self, and was a pure troublemaker while she grew up. She would constantly get on her parents nerves by playing pranks, sneaking out, and causing general mayhem. As she grew into a young teenager, 13 to be exact, she literally ran into two other teens her age. Infact, she hit the guy with her bike, and that was how she met them, Ellanore and Colin. The three grew to be great friends, despite coming from totally different living styles.
When she reached her 18th birthday, her parents became fed up with the mayhem she caused, and sent her off to Grove Academy, hoping she would return as the perfect daughter they wanted. }
Examined-
{With a firey temper and wit, Danni is a force to be reckoned with. She is very kind and sweet, however, though her affection for someone usually comes out in sarcastic comments.}
Talents –
{Danni is an avid flirter, and is a very charming young lady. On top of that, she is a pretty good fighter, and an even better singer.}

{Both of my parents died when I was two in a carwreck, and I was dumped unceremoniously into an orphanage, as I had no living relatives. There, I met and became best friends with a girl, Ellanore. We became like brother and sister, and I became her protector, knight against anything or anybody who would hurt her. It took me a little while longer to accept Grove Academy and send in my application, but now that I have been accepted, I hope to find dear old Ell again, coupled with an excellent education. }
Examined-
{Colin is an incredibly accepting and open person. He has a great sense of humor, and usually puts everyone else before himself. It takes alot to get him angry, though when one does, it's wise to steer clear.
He is very protective of his friends, acting as a shield whenever he can.}

{Ella grew up in an orphanage in England, disowned by her parents when she was four. Nevertheless, she lived her life quite happily, using her natural ability to make the best of any situation. She learned hand to hand combat from some of the teachers there, aswell as the ability to use projectile weapons. She found out about Grove Academy only a few months ago, and readily sent her application, in hopes she could find a good education that would help her off to get a better life.}
Examined-
{Ella is incredibly friendly and kind, and an all around sweet person.She tries to put her best foot forward and be nice to everyone, unless someone doesn't derserve it. If they have done something to deserve her ire, she can cut them down like the best of them. This also means she can be fairly snappish at points. She is also pretty scatterbrained. She can remember something important, but rarely remember where she put something. It takes her a moment longer to figure things out than others, because she daydreams so much.}
Talents –

All Angels, Fallen or not, are gifted with beauty, and I am no exception. I look different from the usual blonde and blue eyed angel, but I feel darker beauty suits me better. My hair is dark brown with caramel, soft and silky. My eyes are the color of the sea, blue and green mixed together. Friends of mine have said that when I am angry, it looks as if a storm has set apon the sea. My skin is pale, and unblemished. I am of average height, and slim from all the combat training in my lifetime. my wings stretch the height of my body, and are a black a midnight, though I am thankful that I am able to hide them within my own skin when I need them to be. }
History-
{The first eight years of my life were beautiful, as I spent it with my family. When I turned eight, Elizabeth five, our parents contracted an illness, and perished. I thought I could continue on, raise her the best an eight year old could. We had no relatives, no one willing to take us in.
When I was twelve, and my sister nine, I was accepted into The Order, Angels who protected Heaven from Demons and the like. I was exstatic, I had finally found a way to provide for myself and Elizabeth, who had taken to the habit of calling me 'mommy'.

The years pass in my mind now, a blur of emotion, light, and color. The whirling comes to rest on one day, my twentieth year. I was in my prime, I was one of the best fighters Heaven had ever seen, and I was proud of that fact. I only had one Superior, The Almighty, as I was one of the most powerful generals on the Angels side.
That one day, myself and my squad were sent to 'clear up' some Demons who were in the endless expanse of gardens and fields outside the West Wall. We arrived just in time...just in time to witness the slaughter of some younger Seraphs, my sister along with them.

I fought with all my strength, all my skill, but nothing I could do would bring her back from the dead. I remained there for such a long time, dispondent, in the place she had perished. My sister was all I had, and now I was alone. My anger, my fury twisted my mind against those who I had sworn to protect. In this madness, I condemned myself to what I am today. I am not proud to say it, but for a time, I was mad. Those that stood before me, enemy or ally, fell to my blade, and only with force was I stopped and brought from that madness. During those days, and even more now, Heaven was tight and tense, risking no inside enemies to bring them down. I was cast from Heaven three years ago, and only recently found Grove Academy. I signed on immediatly to help protect the gate, penance for what I had done. I became close friends with the Gatekeeper, who became like my brother. I am eternally grateful to him, as now I feel like I have some sort of family.}
Examined-
{Despite the endless toil of her life, Evy remains a rather nice person, turning towards the light rather than the darkness. Not all Fallen are evil, and she is no exception. She has a firey temper, and quick wit, but those are really only endearing to whatever guy thinks they have a chance with her. Stunning beauty coupled with wit can be rather deadly to an unsuspecting male.
She is incredibly loyal to her friends, partially to make up for what she did, but mostly because thats simply how she is. She would lay down her life for a friend, if need be.}
Talents –
{Evy can use a multitude of weapons, though she favors the sword and shield. She can also cast some magic, mostly centered around moving things, and changing its shape.}

Seasons Ive Seen-

Species-

{User Image}
History-
{I was born into a noble family around 100 years ago. I was the only child of my parents, and so all attention and pressure was placed apon me. People would expect noble ladies to have all the pressure put on them, for them to be chastized for a miss-step, a wrong word, or even slight defiance. It isn't that way, oddly enough. But men and women have that over their heads, neither gender has freedom.
I was a smart kid, learning my lessons with alacrity, and accepting new ones quickly and easily. I was trained in magic and combat, etiquette and social niceties. During the time I didn't have lessons, or was being pranced infront of available ladies like a prize stallion, I spent as much time as I could out doors. I learned every nook and cranny of our estate, and would sneak out into the wilderness on occasion. As I grew, it became clearer to my parents that I held more love for the outside and learning, than I did the usual tradition of marrying some woman I didn't even know. With that, they shunted me off to Grove Academy under the pretense of learning more about the world, though it was clear they just didn't want to have me near as an embarrassment, their unmarried son.}
Examined-
{Looking at the world with slight contempt, Gavin is a good bit abnormal. From all his lessons, he is incredibly smart, but doesn't use that as an 'Im better than you' approach. He is a bit arrogant, a product of his life, though he is kind and noble, a bit like a knight.}
Talents –
{Gavin knows a bit about everything, though more in some subjects than others. He is an accomplished combatant, favoring magic and a spear. Also, he is somewhat musically inclined as most elves, and favors a flute.}

History-
{I was born 25 years ago, in Heaven. I don't remember it, sadly, because my father brought me down to earth when I was just a baby, to be taken care of by a childless human woman who lived in Moline. I never knew why he did so, but it never mattered to me. I learned early on how to hide my wings within my skin, and could pass for a normal human boy, despite the unearthly appearance I had. My adoptive mothers' name was Arella, and she taught me to live with integrity and kindness for others. When I turned 20, I enrolled in Grove Academy which was just up the road, and was suprised to find a letter back, stating that I was to be the Gatekeeper. I have been working as the Gatekeeper for five years now, and still Im not sure as to why I was appointed. Nevertheless, I am incredibly grateful to the Headmaster, and to the luck that has presented itself to me.}
Examined-
{Gabriel is probably one of the most open, fun, kind, and cheery guy one could know. He is almost always bright and happy.

He is an incredibly loyal person, willing to protect the ones he cares for, so no one need worry to have their friendship forsaken by him. He is quite to laugh, and quick to crack a joke, no matter how lame it may be. He maintains a certain air of innocence, and a zest for life that is contagious to everyone around him.

History-
{Somewhat normal life, rich family. Nothing out of the ordinary, except for my mind. I'm smart, and there's no hiding it. Because of that detail, my parents, having the means, have been enrolling me in different schools for the past few years in the hopes of finding the right place where I can 'apply' myself. Now, it's the prestigious Grove Academy... but this place is already different from all the other hovels, and I can't look away.}
Examined-
{Cocky, arrogant, and extraordinarily condescending. She can play nice with teachers, but rarely will she tone it down for the people she likes. Rosy can't tolerate ignorance, including her own, which might prove to be a problem in this place of mysteries.}
Talents –
{Rosy can draw to an incredible accuracy. Her art, however, can act as a diary, allowing her inner feelings to escape. Because she wants to keep those to herself, the drawings are also kept from prying eyes. Rosy can also compose music, mostly for the piano, but she also learned to pick up the flute rather quickly.}

For now, I will be a Keystone student here in this school, and see what interesting people I meet.}
Examined-
{Mostly bubbly and warm, hyperactive, but can sometimes grow very depressed or withdrawn. }
Talents –
{Can create balls of light for illumination, healing. Fern wasn't really built for combat. Her talents, though, range from singing, to dancing, and to creating a bit of mischief when the time calls.}

Seasons Ive Seen-

{User Image}
History-
{Annabelle was raised in a beautiful countryside by her loving mother and grandparents. Her father was always away, traveling. It wasn't out of neglect that she never saw him. His duty was to gather information about the other realms to have better communications between them. And so, she almost lost her father to a noble duty.
Regardless, Annabelle was given a wonderful life. She was taught lessons at home by her grandfather who never ceased to be patient with her, and acquainted with the ways of the world by her grandmother who became a true inspiration in her life. Her mother nurtured her caring spirit, which is something of an anomaly. Anna always has a sympathy within her, sometimes even pushing towards empathy. That spirit made her a very delicate child, but with the love of the people around her, Anna grew up to be a very strong adult.

Anna (at some age), after years of fleeting meetings finally got to meet the man that is her father who worked on exclusive research projects to better relations between realms.
This involved plant life studies, culture studies, ect. In this expedition she met a man (unnamed at this point) who stole her heart. They were together for x amount of years, during which Anna endured harsh criticism and neglect from him, always in the hopes that he would improve or that his good points outweighed all else. Eventually, after being driven by her father to do so, they separated and the young man was conveniently relocated to another expedition. Feeling guilt-ridden over his relocation and the slight scandal brought with it, Anna's grandfather, through his various high-standing academic connections, was able to secure a position at the Academy for Anna, believing time in the mortal realm would do her good.
With her grandfather's connections, he was able to secure a position as Principal Teacher at the Grove Academy where Anna now resides. }

Examined-
{Annabelle is a kind-hearted, generally soft-spoken individual who believes that each person who comes to the academy is a brilliant, promising individual. This faith in those around her can become a flaw, as she has a bad habit of giving people the benefit of the doubt more than punishment. Anna has seen her fair share of troubles, which just fuels her compassion and open-minded personality.}
Talents –
{Healing. Because of her strong heart and tendency to let empathy drive her emotions, Anna is an extraordinary healer.}

It really didn't help that his own mother held him to be a freak once he began dressing in the way he felt, so he really feels no sadness in seeing her go. His father, he understood from the beginning. He's alright in Alex's book. But now it's time to head off on his own, even if it is to a place that just saw a murder. }
Examined-
{Dark at times, cynical at others. He masks everything with a very holier-than-thou air, just to mask his real insecurity and confusion.}

As a child, he never had much due to the poverty he lived in, but he always made the best of it and dreamed of something better for him in the future. He worked hard and when school was concerned, he was top of his class, making top scores on everything that was given to him and studying hard. This made his family proud and it did even more so when he was accepted into Grove Academy for his academics. Before leaving though, he promised his parents that he would make enough money to get them away from the poverty so that they wouldn't have to work another day for their lives. Little did he know that there was a secret behind Grove academy that he would find out soon enough.}
Examined-
{Donovan is extremely sarcastic, but not many people are offended because he's so funny when he says sarcastic remarks. He is a very kind person and is known to help out others when he can and give advice to the best of his ability, even though the English Language isn't his best. He can't stand it when people are rude, and when he is treated rudely, he will respond vocally on it and be just as rude back.}

{Born under a girl who got pregnant sooner than she thought she would, she was instantly put up for adoption in the slummier parts of London, England. As she grew, her and one of the workers there became good friends and he taught her how to sing, play guitar, gave her a basic education that was deemed at least ninth grade level, and even gave her the last name Howards. When she was old enough, she ran away from the orphanage and struggled to live on her own as a starving musician. From day to day, she was treated harshly and only ate every other day, so she was constantly hungry and alone. When she turned seventeen, she heard about Grove Academy from a nearby conversation and tried her best to get in so she could further her education. After being turned down several times, she eventually was accepted and made her way to the Academy at the age of eighteen, although the coldness that the world has shown her seems to be following her, causing her to build a wall between her and others so as not to be hurt.}
Examined-
{A person that rarely talks to others, Marie comes off as very introvert and most people don't tend to have the patience to crack through her tough exterior. However, those that manage to do so are rewarded with a girl that would fight to the death for you and be there to console you in your darkest hour, but other than that, the most you'll get out of her is a simple ,"Hello", "Goodbye", or "Piss off, ye stupid git."}

He was a rather unusual vampire and it seemed to make Aria all the more odd as she lived with him. He preferred the blood of animals to humans and so it became Aria's preference as well. It was at her uncle's estate that Aria learned of her talent for shadow magic and her love for singing. He was the one to dub her Shadow. It was a cozy life, nights spent with her uncle playing the piano, Aria singing along and making shadows dance on the wall.

Eventually her parents took enough interest in their daughter again to require her to be educated about the human world. What their intent was, neither Aria or her uncle were ever informed. She was shipped off to Grove academy to learn and await further instruction from her family.}
Examined-
{ Aria is very optimistic and happy most of the time, even though most of the time she's tripping over her own two feet. She's also easily distracted, but can be quite helpful if helped to focus with her photographic memory and high intelligence. Useful to have on your side, she'll be as loyal as can be; but you have to convince her of your point first which can take some effort when her mind wanders. }

Now that they have both grown and are pursuing their own adventures, Arondis has come to Grove Academy. At least a thousand years back she guarded the gate but had to leave for her own personal reasons. The successor she left behind died and apon hearing of his death, her return was quick.

She met with Headmaster Sordeau and they made all the necessary arrangments. Having lived for so long and having gained the experience she had, Arondis felt the creatures and the very land itself relax as she took up her station on her side of the gate.}
Examined-
{ Arondis is quiet by nature. Over the years she has developed the habit of not speaking more than one or two words if there is nothing more required. His parents finally convinced the various animal trainers to teach him and keep him as busy as possible. They had hoped to keep him out of trouble, but to no avail. He soon had mastered training almost any animal and used this to his advantage for pranks and for sneaking out on his own. Fed up, they enrolled Damian in the Grove Academy hoping he'd come back more structured. }

They thought she was speaking of imaginary friends at first; but when she persisted that they were there and wouldn't leave her alone, Verdi's parents got worried. They told her it was impossible and even took her to get help. She learned to just keep her mouth shut and everything was fine. The truth was that Verdi was a spirit-seer, a talent passed to her from her great-grandmother. True spirit-seers are very rare and just like Verdi, had learned to keep their mouths shut about their gift, so she remained alone with her talent.

Well, as alone as a spirt-seer can be. Spirits were everywhere and found her at all hours of the day and night. She read up on old legends and found truth where she could. Eventually she was giving up all normal social life to hang with spirits and help them. It was in her research that she came apon Grove Academy. The hidden stories and legends she dug up were facinating and she wasted no time in applying. The day her acceptance letter came, Verdi was packed and off to the Academy. }

Tobias Jin Abendroth

I am called
Tobias

Seasons Ive Seen
17

Species
Shapeshifter

Mirrored
Immediately, Tobias reminds people of a cat. Not because of his physical traits, but rather because of the way he moves and carries himself. He possesses a sort of lithe grace, his movements fluid and full of purpose. He has impeccable posture, even when he's half-asleep in the middle of class or lounging in a sunny spot. He walks with a level of grace and dignity normally not present in one caught in the throes of adolescence, and the few times he does fall there is a certain sense of "I totally meant to do that" about him when he gets up afterwards.

He keeps his dark brown hair cut layered short in the back with bangs in the front that neatly frame his angular face. His face is almost delicate, with a thin nose, lips, high cheekbones, and a determined jawline that ends in a neatly rounded chin. His almond-shaped grey-green eyes would almost be large if they weren't being constantly narrowed into a glare. His eyelashes are rather enviable, being long, dark, and thick; inherited from his mother. His eyebrows are arched, lending a look of faint annoyance and sarcastic surprise at nearly all times, regardless of his mood. A look of quiet disdain often occupies his face.

When angry, scared, or surprised, the shorter hairs (mostly at the back of the head and neck) will raise up. He sheds a lot, much to his annoyance. He's constantly grooming hairs off of his shirts and pillow. His skin is a warm-toned tan. He often has a pair of black-rimmed oval glasses perched on his nose - not because he needs them, but because he likes the way they look.

His clothing style, when he isn't wearing his uniform, could best be described as eclectic, perhaps even eccentric. He loves knitted accessories, and has had quite a few bestowed upon him by his younger half-sister.

History
Tobias's mother, Claudia Abendroth, was a shapeshifter like himself, the descendant of a shapeshifter named Erasmus who had crossed the gate long ago to work as an agent for those who guarded the gate. As a shifter he was able to blend into society easily, and although the first few generations that followed him worked loyaly for their cause, eventually it was valued less and less until it was forgotten. All Tobias's mother knew was that she was different; she never knew why.

So, she blended in with society as her forefathers had, living as a normal person except for when she shifted in the privacy of her home. She worked for a company in Germany, where she met Tobias's father, Hyun Lee. Not her husband mind you, just the father. The man was a rich client of the company's from the US. When he found out that his one-night stand with Claudia had resulted in a pregnancy, he insisted on helping raise the child - through discrete donations, of course. After all, Tobias was the man's first child, and he was the type to become excited over that sort of thing. However, he was already engaged to a woman back home, who he married later that year. As the two were married simply for social and monetary purposes, neither really cared about the liasons of the other. As long as it didn't headline, it didn't matter. To keep things quiet, Tobias uses his mother's last name. Still, Hyun tried to remain a figure in his son's life, even if it was just for a yearly visit at Hyun's home during christmas breaks and through financing Tobias's education.

Claudia's employers transfered her to their branch on the US's east coast when Tobias was thirteen years old. Eventually his knowledge of German waned as his knowledge and usage of English increased, but even as he grew he never could quite get rid of his accent. He attended private schools there, just as he had at home. Eventually he recieved his letter from Grove Academy. His father had heard of it before, and encouraged him to attend. Unknowing of just what awaited him, Tobias left his home in Baltimore to attend the Academy.

Examined
Tobias acts like a cat even more than he moves like one. He has a natural tendency towards arrogance and egotism, which couldn't have been helped by spending all of those years attending semi-prestigious private schools. He is constantly criticizing those around him, and rarely does he find himself able to consider someone a peer, much less truely respect them. For the most part he's intelligent, cynical, pessimistic, sarcastic, a bit rude, and rather callous.

He doesn't like most people, and when he does like someone you'd hardly know it. Perhaps the only tell-tale sign would be a different inflection and intent in his ridiculing, more affectionate than inflammatory. Don't be fooled, however. When you are in his good graces, he trusts you completely. He also has a protective older-brother streak, and will become fiercely protective of anyone he takes under his wing. It doesn't really matter if the person is older or younger, just as long as they're someone he feels needs and is worth protecting.
He's quick to annoy, but slow to anger. It takes a surprising amount to get him genuinely angry, especially when you consider the fact that he spends most of his waking hours, and a good deal of his sleeping ones, annoyed at somebody or something.

He has a certain lack of a sense of humor. It either goes right over his head, or he considers it stupid and another reason for contempt. He loathes pranksters. Loathes them with a passion.
Despite his normally clever, aloof, and secretive personality, he has a bit of a shift around twilight and dawn. He gets a lot more energetic, silly, and talkative than he would normally be during the course of the day or night. In fact, one might say that he even gets friendly, heavens forbid. One would almost accuse him of being intoxicated. His mother always fondly referred to these times as the 'night crazies'. Even Tobias will agree that she is a strange person.

His cat-like tendencies manifest in a couple of other ways, as well. Aside from his absurd affinity for sushi and seafood, he loves being in high places, preferring a lofted bed or a top bunk to a normal bed. He also likes napping, and will often fall asleep in class. There's nothing quite like falling asleep in a warm sunny patch. He also has a love for knitted things and scarves, and he loves being warm, thus the long-sleeved shirts even in warm weather. As a none-cat thing, he loves tea and weisswurst. Despite what you might think, he does not like goldfish crackers.

Talents
Being a shapeshifter, Tobias is able to change his shape. However, through some peculiarity of his line, this is restricted to animals, not including humans. Strangely enough, the shapes of animals is also restricted in that every time he shifts a certain species of animal it looks the same - every time he shifts into a house cat, it's the same cat; everytime he shifts into a sloth, it's the same sloth; and so on and so forth. It's also quite painful the first few times that he shifts into a new kind of animal. Because of this, he has a tendency to stick to a handful of shapes that he has been shifting for years.
Another downfall is that when he shifts, his clothing doesn't come with him. You can figure out the complications of that for yourself, I'm sure.

History-
{Glady's family wasn't exactly what you'd call the 'most refined' by way of culture along with any resemblance to class, and definitely /not/ the brightest intelligent-wise.
So Glady pretty much grew up as the underdog to them.
Literally.
Not that she really cared- really wanted to be related or thought of with these barbarians who were supposed to be her caretakers and guardians from the 'big bad outside world'.
With her lack of brutality, her small stature, that seeming inability of hers to stand up for herself, and her annoying lack of physical strength- she was pretty much either their punching bag; or her brother and sister's excuse for every bad thing they ever did.
By the time she was thirteen she was almost considered out of their family entirely, before she got her letter of course; a miniscule escape from the daily living nightmare.
Then her brother and sister made sure she was /definitely/ out of the family. Doing everything they could to make it so.
Bribes to the neightbors, threats to her life and her sanity, her very few friends killed in their beds.
After all of that nonsense she was pushed gladly and fully out the back door, and into this new (but hopefully just a litttle better) hustle and bustle of Grove Academy.}
Examined-
{Gladys is the kind of person who hates any kind of confrontation, violence, shouting, or idiocy at all.
She just can't stand it!
It goes against everything (in her own little bubble) that she represents, and everything she believes the world should be.
No wars.
No injuries.
No prejudices.
Everything and everyone completely equal on every level.
Gladys is a quiet sort for the most part, the kind of person who prefers to watch things and reflect on them with anyone who'll listen after-wards rather than jump into the mixture herself.
She isn't exactly wonderful at standing up for herself or her ideas, nor is she the strongest in will or physical strength.
But she /is/ nice. One of the nicest people you'll ever meet.
Stranger or not she'll do anything she can to help you if she likes you, or if she likes the looks of you, or even if she hates everything about you and just decides she might as well show mercy on you because she knows no one else in the world will.
It does occasionally get her into a liiiiittle trouble.
But that's why she trained herself to be a pretty darn fast runner!}

Examined-
{Paranoid, honary, obrasive, unrelenting, obnoxious, and so hotheaded he puts any crazed gaggle of married women to shame- El is the exact opposite of someone you'd like to meet if you're lost or uncertain of what you're supposed to be doing.
Being the idiotic jerk he normally tends to play the role of, he doesn't have many friends- though the few he DOES have are either not the sharpest tools in the box or a couple of boneheads just looking for some laughs...
Whichever way, he couldn't really care less.
The fewer the people following him around, the less wide the trail he may leave behind him (if anyone ever thought to go looking) and the more mischief he's open to create.
He CAN be nice... If he chooses to- but I wouldn't put too much hope into that branch of his expansive manipulative capabilities.}

To My Parents-

Gerald Campbell II
I am called-
Campbell, Gerald
Seasons Ive Seen-
17
Species-
Human

Mirrored-
(There may be an image someday, if I stop being lazy or pay someone to make one. In the meantime, use your imagination! XD)

Gerald isn't someone you would normally give a second glance. He's a bit stocky for his age, untanned, and wears baggy, faded clothes when he isn't following a dress code. He keeps his mousy brown hair clean but shaggy and chronically un-styled. He doesn't have sparkling eyes, a winning smile, or even a sensitive demeanor. He is, in essence, bland and unremarkable. When he chooses to speak, his voice is deep and soft, barely above a murmur in many cases. Most often, he can be spotted with his headphones on, apparently lost in reflection, hazel eyes staring blankly into the distance. Wherever his wandering feet take him, he curls up in an inconspicuous spot and fades into the background.

History-

Gerald is the only son of Gerald Campbell I and Irene Bell Campbell. His father owns a multi-million-dollar hardware parts manufacturing business, which Gerald is expected to inherit one day. Gerald's father gives his son as much attention as he can spare. He has plans for Gerald's future, and he fully expects them to be carried out. When Gerald was seven years old, his parents divorced. His mother moved out and left Gerald in his father's care. Four months later, Gerald's Aunt Judy, his mother's youngest sister, became "Judy", his father's new wife. His mother still calls and writes him letters, but Gerald isn't very big on keeping in touch. She left him, after all. Judy is mostly bearable. If she has anything to say regarding Gerald or his activities, she usually says it to his father.

Gerald always has been enrolled in private schools. He has managed, despite his rich father, to slide through life in relative obscurity. He has no criminal record and holds no significant awards. His grades are uniformly decent but nothing exceptional. He doesn't do sports or clubs. What he does do, and do well, is network. Gerald has a way of hoarding information that leaves him with a certain amount of status among his peers. He has a reputation for knowing anything and everything going on with everyone. He may not be well liked, but he is respected. With the respect of popular, powerful people comes the respect of the masses. Money, Gerald has learned from his father, will only take you so far. After that, it is your connections that matter.

Examined-

Gerald often appears lost in thought, lost in a book, or lost in his music. He speaks so rarely that, for all intents and purposely, he might as well be mute. This is a complete act. His plain appearance gives him a natural tendency to be overlooked, and he has learned to take full advantage of it. He acts disinterested in or unaware of his surroundings in order to remain unnoticed. This is how he gathers his information.

Information, he has found, is a powerful tool. In this world, your connections matter. Social status is something that money can't always buy you. He knows he doesn't have his father's charisma. He will never win a popularity contest. He isn't exceptionally strong or smart or talented. So, he had to find his own way of obtaining social status. Over the years, he learned that by collecting all sorts of information, then serving it up to the powerful, the popular, and the elite, he could increase his own status. Thus, Gerald's life is filled with calculation and strategy. He is incredibly observant, and he collects volumes of information about people and events. Most of this information will never be repeated to another living soul. For the most part, he is just a shadow in the background. Only when he senses it will be beneficial to him will he divulge his secrets.

Because he makes an obsessive hobby of remaining unnoticed, he will often shun attempts at unwarranted social interaction. Attention from popular or powerful people requires the proper response, of course, but interruptions from the unimportant or likewise ignored are not to be tolerated. If he doesn't want to talk, he will use tricks such as pretending to be listening to music, making people repeat themselves, or giving bland, uninteresting responses to questions.

Hidden from everyone, Gerald has a personality. But unless one truly knows him, Gerald comes off as uninteresting and disinterested. And who can truly know Gerald?

Talents –

Gerald has two true skills: The first is being completely ignored or overlooked. He just has a knack for fading into the woodwork. The second is being acutely observant. Although he may appear oblivious, he is usually paying extremely close attention to everything going on around him.

Otherwise, he isn't above average in anything. He can make his way without much trouble through most subjects, but he doesn't have the interest or dedication to pull his grades any higher. He doesn't care for sports or competition. He can throw a punch when cornered, but he isn't much good in a fight. Average would be a good way to describe his performance in most areas of life. And that's just the way he likes it.

{meshed together, sorry. It reads better for me this way.}
Competing is an art, an art most girls have perfected to a tee. This girl, has a slightly flawed work ethic but can compete with the best of them at anything from singing to painting to swimming to running. Not always the brightest bulb, however, she has a tendency to forget things and is known for her serious lack of grace. Her empathy makes her extremely emotional, moods changing depending on how strong her control is that day, and is also otherwise extremely sensitive, both physically and mentally. MaryAnne loathes being a burden on other people and tries her best to be helpful. Sentimental, home is definitely where her heart is, but since it is her place to be in the mortal realms, she sticks to it and keeps her most precious and memorable belongings of Heaven and her friends there, by her side. Her parents sent her to the mortal realms when she was ten to live by herself, as each of the youngest children in her family had done generations before. Learning quickly to hide her wings, these days she worked to find a secluded place to stretch them, at least for a little while. MaryAnne loves to feel free and have fun, often being outdoors or near the largest window of the room so she can see the sky. She's claustrophobic and often breaks down when she's in confined spaces, stressed or being pressured or yelled at. Her human parent – a widow by the name of Miguel, who lost his wife and child several years before he found her – took her in after several weeks of her living on the streets and raised her until he passed away from a gunshot wound to the chest during a drive-by shooting near his workplace in one of the worse places of downtown, nearly three years ago. While he was alive, he'd wanted the best for her and had enrolled her in the Grove Academy, where she now excels and dorms. She misses her family, and Miguel, but accepts that everything happens for a reason and that one cannot change the past. -- Note: Her real father is the Arch Angel Michael, a Seraphim, and she has his traits, though her second and third wings are not yet fully developed, still similar to a newborn's wings. She refers to him as "Father".
Talents –
MaryAnne has the gifts of telepathy and "divine archery" in the Immortal worlds, which makes it so her archery skills are advanced and she's basically an empath in the mortal worlds, picking up and reading others' emotions. In the mortal worlds, she's practiced many things from sports to the arts, all which she is good at.

History-
Scarlett grew up with her father and mother in Aristocratic London. After a bloody ball for her sixteenth birthday, Scarlett spent the next two years hopping from asylum to asylum until finally her father realized she wasn't crazy. Eventually, not knowing what to do, her father sent her to Grove Academy, hoping she would eventually be suitable back in london.
Examined-
Scarlett is very bright is almost always in a good mood. She's friendly, and sweet. She does have a very easy trigger, meaning she gets angry very quickly. Sometimes it seems as if she is spacing out when really she is just ignoring the person.
Talents –
Scarlett has the uncanny knack for knowing things before they happen, she can also see people's auras.
