Sirius barked a laugh and bent over, hands on his needs, to pant and catch his breath. "A fun run, eh?"

Marketa had had to let go of Sirius's hand, her legs too short to keep up. She laughed slightly, but not as enthusiastically as Sirius. "Speak for yourself! I am still out of shape from last year!"

"Bah! Don't complain! You look fine to me!" Sirius chortled, looking at her with wide eyes. He was still out-of-breath, but he'd get over it. At over six feet, the run wasn't as hard as it was for Marketa.

Mar, never really able to take a compliment, just smiled and shook her head. "It's my insides dat are all screwed up, even if I do look fine," she argued with good humor, leaning against the wall.

Marketa jerked slightly when he started tickling her, and she thrust her hands out to catch herself on Sirius's shoulders. She started laughing uncontrollably, fighting an urge to place her head on his shoulder again. "It's fixed, it's fixed!" she cried loudly through her laughter.

"Alright," he said fondly, dropping his hands. "Now, I promised I would take you up to the Hufflepuff dorms, but I don't know where they are..."

Marketa laughed and shook her head slightly. "You're too noble for your own good, Meester Black. I will lead, you just walk wit me and look pretty." She smiled at him to show she was only joking, and wrapped her hand around his elbow again.

"Us Gryffindors usually are noble... I dunno about pretty, though." Despite his usual egotistical act, he actually thought he looked a bit funny-looking - he thought his nose was a little crooked and his mouth a little crude. He liked his hair, though. Sometimes he wore it longer - almost to the nape of his neck - or when he was feeling particularly happy he had it cut in a clean straight cut, the fringe coming barely to his ears.

"No, you are right. You aren't pretty..." Mar said thoughtfully. She smiled sweetly and paused just long enough for Sirius to feel offended. "You are handsome."

Mar turned to look at Sirius properly, a blush forming on her face. She smiled meekly. Her parents weren't those kind of people to tell their daughter she was pretty, and boys usually didn't think she was at all. "No, I don't tink you have," she quietly said, turning to look at her shoes.
