Get banner of Malcolm X, Fredrick Douglous, Martin Luther King Jr., Rosa Parks, Shirley Chisolm, Harriet Tubman, Soujourner Truth, Thurgood Marshal, Moses Fleetwood Walker on it like they are faded together sort of. Have it say our founding parents or something insightful like that on it.

[I like the one on the main page the best. It automatically catches the eye because you don't see too many black faces in the signatures on Gaia. xp ]

You are not the only member with a "non-brown" avatar. xD (The others may or may not have a banner for the guild in their signature, but most of them probably didn't choose the "hide" option, so this guild is displayed along with the others they are members of. 3nodding )

Some silly people may think that you're trying to be funny, though.

Personally, I welcome all tasteful banners.

I'll put the guild name on it but I don't really want a signature that has to do with "pride" but rather with equality. 3nodding It's true that you don't see many black people in banners on Gaia...so that would be eye-catching.

So, a famous person? Kofi Annan? heart

I'd prefer not to put a celebrity (such as Will Smith) on there since that would just make me look like a fangirl. xd

I'll think some more about it. Suggestions are welcome. smile

That's cool. Tasteful is good. I'd like to give you some suggestions, but...I prefer to see what others are able to come up with on their own -- we're all more creative than we give ourselves credit for, I think. biggrin Can't wait to see whatcha come up with!
