Pre-Gaian Years:

Debuting as Slim Jim9000 in HCW on WDN, Nico Crowley was 24 years old when introduced to Gaia through Jordy Blaze under the monikor "Jobber Bob." The 4 year pro was later booked as a lower mid-card heel in NAW where he first adopted the shortened "Slim," persona feuding frequently in backstage segments as Blunt001's lackey.

In the wake of Blunt001's sexual assault allegations, he left the promotion for a year to open a wrestling school in Mexico before rebranding as Freakshow and returning to feud with Panda-Man.

2005-2007

Freakshow would later branch into AOWW, AWF and OECW. Bloody feuds with Snypa Rifle across the aforementioned companies lead to the signing a 3 year contract to RWA where he was drafted #4th overall by John Zandig; eventually capturing the RWA Deathmatch Championship twice and defeating the then owner Mad Dog McLennon for the Crimson King title in PAW at the age of 27. In the final years of the company he would would feud with Alex "Havok" Summers as management groomed both to spearhead the youth movement. In the aftermath of the EEW vs RWA War, Freakshow would resume his feud with Snypa Rifle in the smaller SWA with other remnants of the fallen company.

2007-2009

After being purchased by Paul Heyman, EEW puppet commissioner Mick Foley organized a corporate coup taking the territory independent with help from members of the Tiberian Black Magicians (Shadow, Jackal & Dauth), Laic, Chris Chaos and Freakshow. The unnamed, short lived alliance ran roughshod over the mutinied SWA in its last days before being pulled after a controversial belting angle. EEW regained control of the company and folded it, purchasing his contract before shipping the star to Heyman's new territory DCW where he won the Gut Check Briefcase prior to its closing and expulsion from EEW.

Apr 09, 2008 he first appeared in the Drown igniting a feud with Nick Williams and failing in his campaign for Jonathan Rikers X-Treme title in his final TV appearance after several months on televsion. As a free agent he would appear in early FFA shows, winning Backstage Warfare and compete against Matt Shanahan in a failed bid for the FFA US Title in the rebooted companies first match, appearing sporadically thereafter. Months later he resurfaced in the newly independent DCW as a free agent, using a loophole in the Gut Check contract to capture his first world title at 28 from Mike Landry in an ambush attack after over a year of holding the case. Using the belt as leverage in negotiating his contract with DCW, the New Yorker's 180 day title run would net him his first BITW Honors in 2008 and the distinction of being the first wrestler to ever defeat Mike Landry in a Watch Your Step Match. In December of 2008 he was enshrined in the RWA Hall of Fame.

During this time Freakshow would also begin to make his first appearances for Jed Haynie's WWFG promotion on a handshake basis, capturing the Intercontinental Title and defending the title between his obligations to PAW and DCW. As both of the aforementioned companies closed by the end of 2008 he began to ramp up appearances in the Federation going into the new year.

As WWFG management began positioning the free agent for the main event, the New Yorker generated interest overseas. Following disagreements over a rider in his contract invoking Hiro Shin-Mozas as his personal assistant, Freakshow was stripped of the WWFG Intercontinental Title and left the company to compete as El Hijo Del Crusher in Japan and Mexico. He would spend his prime overseas capturing gold in KANJOKU and LSNWA, as well as making appearances in AKWE and MUSCLE LAND. He briefly returned EEW on a part time basis as part of a talent exchange involving Bryan Kutterman, and was sporadically used as enhancement throughout 2009, frequently paired with fellow touring partner Ryuu Sakamoto in the undercard. He worked several programs losing to Jarel before he dissipated from the larger scene stateside until his return over a year later at the age of 30.

2009-2011

July 2010 Freakshow would surface as a veteran in FWD Developmental where he met Brantley Summers while mentoring Andrew Thorne/Jamie Bader. Dissatisfied with his rookies early elimination, Freak quickly took Summers under his wing in a desperate bid to revitalize his career and began to team with his fellow territorial era holdout Weird Fox, using Fox's connections on the independent scene to secure the GWF Undisputed Tag Titles and the 2010 WGUT under questionable officiating circumstances. Later the group added Elisia Williams, who had become infatuated with Freak following his feud with brother Nick Williams.

Having established his credibility as a tag wrestler, Freakshow pitched himself with Brantley Summers to Jed in a ploy to ride the rookie back into the graces of what had become the #1 promotion in his absence--subsequently Jed booked the duo in dark matches as The Handicap World Champions, before moving them to an opening feud with the Marines where they traded win back and forth. The group was initially overshadowed by the Freak Fox Faction, who were in the process of being recruited to EWA.

After negotiations between EWA and Fox stalled, Freakshow briefly teamed with Majin Inferno before the Midnight Marauders made their first appearance in the infamous FWD vs EWA elimination tag as members of the swept veteran squad. Debuting their namesake the next week the Marauders would begin the new year by unifying the Turmoil Tag Titles with the ACW tag titles in a massive upset over Velocity. The same week Summers and Freakshow would capture the WWFG Tag Championships, becoming the first team to ever simultaneously hold both belts. The Marauders reign would last a month before Summers was sidelined for 4 months with an injury after dropping the belts to Matt Draven and Joey Desch.

Without a partner the Marauder would rekindle his relationship with Fox briefly, using valet Elisia Williams as a replacement for Summers before selling the servant to his partner in exchange for the Nexus Championship. He would turn on his business partner shortly thereafter and engage in a blood feud culminating in a Suck a Duck Match on August 6th in which Freak emerged victorious at Conquest. The very same night he would be slotted on short notice in his major first PPV main event against St. Joey for the Sprocket Title, a match that would go on to tie for 2011 Match of The Year, in a losing effort to unify both titles. Meanwhile the Marauders would reunite in WWFG capitalizing on a dwindling locker room to capture the tag titles twice more trading it between Los Guerreros Enmascarados. Holding Tag and Deific gold simultaneously. Freak would continue to hold the Nexus title before losing it to Sarah Skye in a scaffold match that would prove much more costly than gold.

2012

While injuries from the fall and his subsequent firing from EWA by Eras would prove the nail in the coffin of his active career, backstage turmoil in WWFG would unexpectedly propel the retiring New Yorker to new heights after a massive walkout lead by current champion and Freak's former employer Malice. On the verge of being fired in the fallout of his former young boy Hiro Shin-Mozas sexual assault charges, Jed was forced to rely on the breaking down veteran for one last job.

On 4/12/12, in a bizarre turn of events, Freakshow became the first wrestler to defeat Malice in a massively controversial and politically motivated upset, securing his second world title yet again as the spoiler to Mike Landry. His one month reign signified a power shift as the Midnight Marauders reached the height of their success with Freak and Summers holding the WWFG Undisputed Championship, Deific Tag Titles and Tag Titles all at once between them as the promotion slipped from its #1 position in the ratings. On 5/6/12, Freakshow would make his last appearance dropping the tag belts to the Notorious G.O.D and facing Mike Landry in a hard fought defeat which saw a humiliated and broken down Freakshow quit immediately thereafter ending his run as the 2nd ever WWFG grand slam champion. He would be inducted into WWFG Hall of Fame later that year and in EWA the year after.
